From the account of the oil sample the Blackstone Laboratories find nothing wrong with the oil used and recommend to use it for the recommended intervalAgain there is no findings that Brake Masters was in error on this serviceThe customer failed to return to Brake Masters under the warranty guidelinesAt this point Brake Masters further denies this claimTimothy
To whom it may concern:On 11/21/15,I had taken my truck to Brake Masters to have its oil changed on account of convenience My wife's vehicle was also serviced that particular day Her vehicle was done quickly, efficiently, and correctly My vehicle on the other hand was moved to two different bays and I was told that there was a delay on oil After over an hour of waiting after my vehicle was moved to the second bay, I was told it was ready Soon after I left Brake Masters the truck began to smoke a bluish smoke that it had not had previously Due to the lengthy delay at Brake Masters to service my truck and the familiarity that the *** *** dealership has with the motor in my vehicle, I decided to go to the dealer which is geographically close to where I was and the Brake Masters where I received the oil change *** *** has also been the regular place that I have my vehicle maintained Every maintenance issue that *** *** or other technicians have discovered or suggested has been addressed at the location that diagnosed the vehicle.*** *** diagnosed the truck as having a damaged ring in one of the cylinders which can happen as a result of either oil starvation due to a non-oem oil filter or an inadequate oil type Given that the oil was changed prior to that at Brake Masters it stands to reason that the service it received at that location is the reason the motor started to have an issue.Brake Masters representative, Hector S***, was quick to respond to an initial complaint filed through Brake Masters website He was also quick to get an oil analysis out to Brake Masters preferred vendor After the report from that vendor came back I attempted to call him several times and was not able to get a call back A report with Revdex.com was filed for that reason.Thank you,*** ***
