I am [redacted] and I am not even a sales person at the company I had not spoken to [redacted] until I got this message [redacted] *** [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Regards, [redacted] I do not except the business response because it is not correct.1) The business never received any permits from the city.2) The reason no permits were issued is, there was never an inspection done by the City.3) The business only offered to pay the first payment is because they submitted the paper work to the finance companybefore the work was completed.4) the company would not have offered that if the finance company would have not contacted me wanting their first payment.that is why we contacted the business trying to find out what was going on.5) The companies sale rep that sold me the product asked my wife to go to the city office and find out why there was a hold up on the permit, this is when we found out there was no inspection done to issue a permit for the work to even start.6) The company stated they put the panels up by mistake, how do you start work on a project without any permits being issued. This was not a mistake they decided to start the work before hand hopping they would get they permits

Complaint: ***
If CAM solar is now saying that is willing to work with us we welcome that change We will hire them to finish the installation of the panels at their rate of $200/panel , as long as they agree to continue to honor their warranty with us and continue their contracted services

This particular customer has done everything in his power to insult and belittle both myself and our techniciansHe is a bully that called me to gloat that he had found a lower bid to replace and reset his solar panelsI wished him well at the time and reminded him that the workmanship
warranty would transfer to his new installation companyThe manufacturer warranty for the faulty inverter is still in place if the system was installed correctlyIf it was not, the warranty is voidThe cheap guys should be able to do this simple taskBy the looks of the written complaint, here is a bitter man that has nothing better to do than try and tear down a hard working outfit that has better things to do than be insulted and threatened by online slanders

As stated by the customer, we came out twice to remove and replace panels for free On August 25th, we received an email from the customer stating that the leak was not caused by CAM Solar and was a result of the roof repairs done prior to our installation When asked to come out a third
time, we provided our price to remove and replace panels The customer refused to pay that price We have charged this price to countless customers including insurance companies, so it is not an unreasonable price We informed the customer that he is free to choose another company to remove and replace his panels, but that this would risk his workmanship warranty with us as we cannot cover the work of another company Anything touched by that other company would have to fall under the warranty of that company All equipment warranties would remain in place, as they are covered by the equipment manufacturer and not CAM Solar

We cannot cover the work completed by another company and should not be asked to do so If the customer wants us to cover the work that needs to be done they must hire CAM Solar to do the work The customer had rejected the price to do the work As stated by the customer, the leak was not CAM Solar's fault We have already given the customer the price to complete the work and maintain our warranty with CAM Solar on that portion of the installation

We have already contacted the customer about this issue and were the ones that alerted him to the issue.  We offered to pay the customer's first monthly loan payment on this system for the error.  It is not true that we did not return his phone calls.  At least 3 representatives from...

CAM Solar have spoken to the homeowners. The only calls we have received on our phone system in the last 2 weeks were dated this morning within a 6 minute time window, and all before business hours.  The customer was called back within 5 minutes of the office opening.  It is true that we accidentally installed his system prior to getting the permit approved with the city.  It is not true that we did not submit for the permits.  Permit applications were submitted a month ago with the City of Schertz.  It doesn't happen often, but we have had one or two incidents where we thought we had the permit and did not.  When we found out we contacted the city and they are verifying and issuing us an extra fee to the permit, which CAM Solar will be paying at no expense to the customer.  That's the extent of the ramifications of the accident. The permit will be approved in the near future and the system will be inspected and turned on after that.  The contract will be completed on CAM Solar's end.  CAM Solar will not remove the system as per the customer's request, as the contracted work will be completed.
