I am rejecting this response because: they are repeating what I already mentioned in the complaint but not acknowledging all the harassment I encountered during the processThe smog and title did not come until a month laterRepairs that were made on this car should have been completed by the business owner before the saleProceedings for a refund are still in place at this time

December 12, 2017, Mr [redacted] brought his vehicle in for an Oil Change We recommended to replace his tires because they were worn to almost bald at 1-2/tread depth and to replace the Rear Differential Cover because it was rusted through and leaking gear lube, a condition that could cause differential failure due to lack of lubrication On that day, only the Oil change was performedDecember 20, 2017, Mr*** brought his vehicle in to have the tires replaced that we recommended on the previous visit While installing the new tires, we found the abtire wear was caused in part because both upper ball joints were worn with excessive movement and a possible wheel alignment issue The lower ball joints were OK and not recommended to be replaced On that day, only replaced the tires.On December 21, 2017, Mr [redacted] brought his vehicle in to have the Upper Ball Joints replaced and a Wheel Alignment.On December 22, 2017, Mr [redacted] brought his vehicle in to have the Rear Differential Cover replaced, per our previous recommendationOn January 2, 2018, Mr [redacted] had his vehicle towed in because it would not start with the temperature at -degrees We found the Battery had failed After the battery was replaced, the vehicle started and passed all starting and charging system tests.On January 5, 2018, Mr [redacted] brought the vehicle in because the Blower Motor for the Heater would not turn off when the vehicle was turned off, thus draining the battery overnight The temperature that day was -degrees We found the Blower Motor resistor overheated and failed, causing the Blower to continue running even with the vehicle turned off We replaced the Blower Motor resistor and the Wire Harness to the Resistor the Blower Motor itself was OK The corrected the symptom.On January 9, 2018, Mr [redacted] filed a complaint with this office We agree, Mr [redacted] spent a lot of money is a short period of time for the Tires, Upper Ball Joints, Wheel Alignment, Battery, and Blower Motor Resistor, all repairs were needed and approved We do not pressure our clients to make any repairs, we make our professional recommendations, and always let the client decide I believe this is demonstrated with Mr [redacted] having recommended repairs done days after initially discussed The Battery and Blower Motor issues were a direct result of the sub-zero weather and the age of his vehicle.On January 10, 2018,We discussed the above visits with Mr [redacted] and agreed the Tire needed Replacement and the other repairs were needed He also agreed the Battery and Blower Motor issues with sub-zero temperature related and just poor timing with the other things just done He stated his main concern was the big credit card bill he was facing when the statement came To help alleviate this payment burden, we applied and got him approved for $1,Credit Limit with our Car Care One credit card which gives him 6-months no interest before the payment is due with a small minimum monthly payment schedule We then applied a $1,credit to his initial credit card and charge $1,to his new Car Care One card, giving him the months to pay off In addition, we also applied a $credit to his initial credit card, for points that he earned from his previous repairs, with our new Rewards Program, in an effort to lower his balance due Mr [redacted] seemed very satisfied, reported as such to this office that his issue was resolved, and the Complaint was Closed as Resolved.On January 17, 2018, the Complaint was reopened again, prompting this reply We are empathetic about Mr***'s financial concerns and the unfortunate timing, but the worn tires, worn Upper Ball Joints, and weather related issue with the battery and blower motor were not caused by us I believe, and initially so did Mr***, we made every efforts to help him out.Respectfully, [redacted] Auto Select - Stevens Point

We originally repaired a wiper issue in July because the vehicle's wipers had NO MOVEMENT, a condition created because the Wiper Transmission (Linkage) assembly brokeWe installed a new Wiper Linkage Assembly and the symptom was corrected.The wipers had been working properly until late December when we received a call that the wipers were not working properly, they were Parking nearly straight up in the middle of the windshield when turned off instead of properly parking into the windshield cowling At that time we dis-assembled and diagnosed that the wiper motor was the cause of the wiper parking problem when the wiper were not in use, not a defective wiper transmission (linkage) assembly The wiper motor and the wiper transmission only fits in one way, so I don't understand how they were installed improperly and worked for months Having to order a new wiper motor and wait for it to arrive, we re-assembled and returned the vehicle until the part arrived.Scott [redacted] , I believe the boyfriend of Ms [redacted] , decided to bring the vehicle to another shop, [redacted] ***, for a second opinion After talking to [redacted] ***, I understand they made a slight ("a few inches from the proper parking location") adjustment on the wiper linkage They didn't seem to know anything about the center windshield wiper parking symptom we experienced and that Ms [redacted] complained about I suspect the vehicle may have an intermittent electric wiper motor failure problem which can be affected by cold weather temperatures or snow If it's an intermittent issue with the wiper motor, only time will tell and confirm for us I do know, the straight up wiper parking condition we had in December was caused by the wiper motor and was not corrected by a few inch adjustment to the wiper transmission.Mr [redacted] was demanding a $refund from our July repair, a request that I denied for the reasons listed above I've left messages with Ms [redacted] to work through and resolve this issue, with no response I'm disappointed that I haven't been able to talk to her directly and now have resolve it through this complaint process I don't want any client to be disappointed in our serviceHowever, the wiper transmission (linkage) assembly we originally replaced for you in July is not defectiveOur Year 36,Mile warranty would cover its failure if that was the case The last concern is our original inspection and labor charge to replace the wiper linkage in July was only $98.03, so why the $charge to make an adjustment? ON 06/13/2017 AUTO SELECT received a DEMAND FOR REPURCHASE BY PREMIER AUTO CREDIT do to the fact that customer [redacted] was in 2nd payment default and had told the FINANCE COMPANY that she is not going to be able to make her payments, Ms [redacted] not only kept the...

vehicle but skip trace buy hiding it and put it inside the garage at her house and at her job knowing that she won't make anymore payments she decide it to keep on driving it.  furthermore We contact her number many times first because she didn't pay us the differed payment of $400 she never returned our calls, we left her messages to all of her references they even told us that they had give her our messages to call us back but she would ignore all.  after all her vehicle was submitted for repossession and got taken away from her on JULY 10 SINCE WE HAD ALREADY PAID A RE-PURCHASE FROM PREMIER AUTO CREDIT FOR BRIDGE OF CONTRACT BY CUSTOMER AUTO SELECT HAD AND HAS ALL RIGHTS FOR THIS VEHICLEin regards to the REPO COMPANY.  AUTO SELECT does not have any control of how other business performs their duties, if she feels that they were not professional the REPO COMPANY HOLD THEIR OWN LICENCE THAT SHE CAN FO AFTER

Customer [redacted] agreed to take one of our vehicles while the smog was done for her vehicle,  with her consent we took the vehicle for smog  At the smog place the technician at a later day told us that he by mistake press the wrong bottom on his machine that it didn't...

generate a certificate number, I was not aware neither had knowledge of how smog is done.  We did our part by customer consent and agreement, furthermore, the smog tech advise us to contact customer to let her know what had happened and we did, Also the smog technician called her to ask her to bring the car back so that he can issue her the certificate, the smog technician told us that she refused and yell at him, as you can understand we have no control over the technician work or mistakes, but he intended to fix his mistakeAlso her vehicle was transferred to her name and by this time she probably already has a title to her name, do to the fact that the smog technician make a mistake and the vehicle was transferred before we knew about it,  is to her benefit to return to the smog place since DMV might ask tor correctionif you have any questions, please call at [redacted]thanks
