Failure to fix Car and After 2 days Business was called and Business refused to fix Car and told me to take car elsewhere! I took my car a 2002 Lincoln LS to autoshow as a referral from my friend and when I took it they offered this in-house financing and they fixed a hole in a pipe and power steering I really thought they were helping me by allowing me to pay payments. A few days went by and I received a call from [redacted] and he stated he forgot to charge me for the power steering pump. I told him its not my fault and he then placed the owner [redacted] on the phone and he begin telling at me about either they were gonna add it to my bill or I was gonna bring it back. I hung up and said you will not yell at me for something your employee did not do. So then the owner calls my friend to tell her if I don't lay him she cannot get her car fixed anymore. A few weeks went by and I begin to pay my payments becausw I felt it was the right thing to do and making payments worked for me. So I decided to get my rear brake light and front headlight fixed and I made a $50.00 down payment towards my balance and got them fixed but I kept complaining of my car overheating and constantly having to put water in the resovoir and they checked it out? So they say? I say this because Every time I went into the shop there was confusion, the owner or receptionist didn't know anything about my car, ie, what's wrong with it, if its ready or nothing they were always lost and complaining verbally about [redacted] and how dumb and stupid he was. That always seemed to be the running topic but never about the problem at hand. So I continue to drive my car and it kept overheating. I took it back on last Monday and and [redacted] finally calls that night and says U have a Cracked RADIATOR Isaid what? It is gonna be $550.00 to fix with 4.5 hours and I explained to [redacted] its Christmas I have to get Christmas for my babies and I can't afford the suggested 330.00 down. Its Christmas. So I went to pick up my car and after them taking it apart and diagnosing it I drove it and it ran hot again and I had no heat. I gave the keys to [redacted] and said fix it but why do I not have heat? I had it before? I told him I need to speak with [redacted] the Owner. I faxed a proposal on Tuesday Mornibg to the Owner and called him by 1 pm andAfter taking to handAfterining the situation with my kids he agreed to fix my RADIATOR. HE told me my car would be ready the plan was to have it ready on Tuesday afternoon. I got off work and went to autoshow and my car was still sitting in the parking lot. I explained to him again I needed my car I have two jobs and needed my car. I said can you give me something to drive. I also asked for my keys to retrieve items from my car. [redacted] was on the phone and he yelled at me WILL YOU JUST WAIT A MINUTE?! I Spoke to Kim and said "he is not gonna yell at me. She says " I thought he was yelling at me? I said I need to go to my grandsons recital and I can't keep waiting and [redacted] gathers up his mechanics and tries to find me a car to drive. I was livid and had to wait an additional hour for them to give me an oil smelling car with jumper cables because the battery would not charge. I had to get two jump off a with this so called loaner. I called the next day and [redacted] tells me they are trying to get the air out of it. And he will call me back. I told him I had to work my second job and I will have to come in the am on Thursday. I called yet again and asked about my car he says I need a dual valve? For my heat to work. I told him my heat worked fine before I brought it to them? He says let me check it out I'll call you back in 30 minutes. On Friday I had it I called and the Receptionist says they are testing it I will call you back never happened. I called back by that time I was [redacted] I went to autoshow and [redacted] yelled at me and said I was rude and said "FOR SOMEONE WHO IS NOT PAYING A DIME U REALLY SHOULD NOT ACT LIKE THIS! We argued he then says I have a cylinder misfiring? I say my car didn't have these problems before you took apart the Radiator! He gets upset and says pay cont.Desired SettlementMe in full $840.00 and take your car elsewhere and give me the keys to my car. I gave them to him and requested to verify I had heat after an hour the receptionist says they will not let you get or see your car until you pay in full. I told her there is a way to treat ans speak to me as a customer and this is not right. You havr kept my car for 4 days with no call or care anf now you wanna charge me even more money. This is absurd! [redacted] finally took me to my car I verified the heat paid my bill and wrote refused on the receipt because all of the problems started when they took off the radiator. The valves leaking, the cylinder misfiring, the heat not working properly all because of the sham job autoshow did to my car. I paid $840.00 to them got my car back and I drove it on Sunday and now it stutters, it started leaking fluids on Monday, the heat used to blow me out of the car, it now blows semi hot air and I was on my way home from one job it ran hot again. I put water on the resovour and attempted to go to my second job and it ran hot again. I called and told them I need my car towed and fixed and I needed to pick it up by tomorrow not next week and [redacted] tried to tell me it was related to the issues they wrote on the receipt without even looking at my car. We argued and she yelled at me and I hung up on her. 15 minutes later [redacted] calls me and tells me to take my car elsewhere. I spent my Kids Christmas money $840.00 to this sham all because the owner did not want to admit that his mechanics messed up my car and and he felt that I couldn't pay the money. Well I did pay the money and my car needs to be I want my car repaired in full! I want the leaks fixed, I want the heater fixed and I want the cylinder that is misfiring to be fixed or I want my money back and I will get it fixed at a respectable business. This is the tudest most disrespectful ace I have ever been in and they honestly treat you like garbage and just because you finance payments they feel they can keep your car as long as they want?! I think not! I pay them just like anyone else and now I can't even go to both my jobs cause my car is damaged and its all autoshow's fault! Also one more thing handle the customers cars and stop trying to pile 20 cars a day into your shop and FOCUS this is why my car was damaged. Because you have no clue how to run a business and as a result the customers sufferThis is the only attempt other than the Media and Magistrate Court I will be making. If this does not result in my car being fixed I will send this complaint along with the other 8 especially the complaint about the RADIATOR because the stories are eerily similar. I also am having the Mechanics investigstedbto verify their lisence. This Owner will tell you I'm just someone else trying to get something for nothing. And I will tell you I am a Hardworking woman who works 2 jobs who loves her car and has invested a lot of money in it and I want my car fixed. The owner wl tell You he is a Christian Man and I will tell you he is a devil but You [redacted] have met the right one now! Fix my Car! I'm going to make sure it happens. I want a time set and I want my car to be the priority and I want it now One more thing I'm waiting for your response because it along with all of the other complaints shows the consistency of you messing up peoes cars, charging them for work not authorized, and breaking items on their car as well. So lets hear the excuse this time. The floor is yours and will be used in a court of law. FIX MY CAR CORRECTLY AND COMPMETELY WITHOUT THE BS.Next Step WRAL/Magistrste of Wake CountyBusiness Response I am in receipt of your letter dated January 15, 2016. This is the first notification I have received from the Revdex.com. I have not received any notices in my e-mail account to date concerning these allegations. I was away from my work place from 12-20-2015 and returned the evening of 1-5-2016. First things first, this lady was arrogant to my entire office personal and acted as if we were responsible for the problems with her vehicle. This vehicle is her responsibility and if she cannot comprehend what we are telling her because she is off the wall it is not our fault. My office personnel and I attempted on several occasions to explain in detail what was wrong with her vehicle but she could not keep her sarcastic mouth closed. There is a point that most shops would have given her keys back and asked her to live. My decision to hang in to appease her was stupid as we have learned in the past that no matter what we due we will never make her happy. I will attempt to explain exactly what took place but I will have a difficult time explaining her complaint as it is written in an English I am not accustomed to. On Nov. 4 her vehicle was towed in by ASI and paid for by ASI to be billed later to customer. We received a verbal agreement to replace the water crossover pipe which comes with the thermostat, oil change and the power steering pressure switch for a cost of $525.00. We completed the repairs and she picked the vehicle up that same day. On Dec. 8 she brought her vehicle in for additional work. We received a verbal agreement to install a used right hand outer tail lamp assembly and repair a headlight pigtail for $220.00. On Dec. 14th she brought her vehicle in for an overheating problem and no heat in the vehicle. Upon diagnosing her vehicle on the 15th we found a crack in the radiator causing the vehicle to overheat and a bad neoprene washer for the hydraulic cooling fan. We received a faxed statement from [redacted] approving these repairs for $550.00 on the 15th. Upon finishing the repairs on Dec. 16th we discovered the intake gasket was leaking and a cylinder 2 misfire which apparently was caused by [redacted] driving the vehicle in a heated state. The no heat in the vehicle was being caused by a bad dual climate control valve. She refused this needed work and stated that she would not pay us another cent. I required her to pay her bill in full and released her vehicle to her. Some people can just not take responsibility for their own problems. I tried very hard to assist her but when it becomes to abuse due to her neglect it ends right there. Thank you for your understanding. Sincerely, [redacted], General ManagerConsumer Response The only thing I have left to say is from my earlier response. Please Publish my additional information. My car is fixed and The Ford Dealership found none of the items Auto show stated as the problem. I will leave the Attorney General and Civil Court to handle this. I've paid 477.00 additionally for the additional repairs that Auto Show caused me. But, I paid it as I have always paid See you in Court Auto show. I'm sure that's English you can understand and are used to.Publish this for my records. And close this case.More information received from consumer (2016/01/15)I would like for Revdex.com to make my Complaint and Updated information available Thanks! It is apparent that the Business Auto Show has done me wrong in this case because why else would they not respond. I have since the complaint was filed gotten my car repaired. According to the Ford Dealership the RADIATOR was installed improperly and the resovoir coolant bottled was damaged during the process. My car was running hot and had no heat as a result of this fraudulent repair. The number 2 coil was damaged as Auto Show stated. The Piston had no fluids on top as Auto Show stated and the valve covers and gaskets were in great shape. But not according to Auto Show. I paid 477.00 in addition to the 550.00 RADIATOR job and 840.00 total. But, my car now has heat and doesn't overheat. Auto Show you are a rip off! I have contacted the Attorney General and filed a complaint I also filed a Civil suit against this place, I also contacted DMV to verify if the Mechanics are licensed and 2 are not hence what happened to me. I hope whomever is reading this takes full heed to not deal with place if you know what's good for u. Finally, Auto Show You took my Kids Christmas, I have set beside the road a many of days, I have had to ride the bus and catch rides to both of my jobs. And all I asked was you to come get my car 2 days after your fraudulent repair. You didn't show up U said take it somewhere else and I did but now have my money when we go to court. I'm done and thanks Revdex.com. Please post all of this to your website.

Took car to get valve cover gaskets & plugs replaced. My radiator was replaced & owner admits to not having knowledge it was replaced.Took car to [redacted] & found I needed Valve cover Gaskets & Spark plugs for $450 On August 26, 2015 I took my car to Auto Show Inc., 4480 Poole Road, Raleigh because I have an account with them. They priced the repairs at $460 I agreed. Later that day the receptionist[redacted] calls to say my radiator crumbled in the process of the Valve cover gaskets being changed. I replied that's impossible because I haven't had any problems with my radiator at all and when I brought it to the shop it was fine. She stated well you can't get the car without the radiator.Friday August 28, 2015 I go to pick up car with my sister [redacted] (919)[redacted] the mechanic brings radiator in for me to see,I didn't respond because the neck part leading to the hose was cut completely off. So there is no way I could have driven my car in the hot weather if radiator was damaged. As [redacted] starts to write the ticket for repairs [redacted] the owner wanted to know why[redacted] couldn't write the ticket? I then move over to her desk not saying a word. The total for everything was $700.00 she wanted to know was I paying in FULL, I said no I have an account so why are you asking am I paying in FULL. I also said you all replaced my radiator and I didn't need one.[redacted] then steps back to the owner about my down payment for the Valve Cover Gaskets $480... he gets very nasty with an attitude storming up to the front....I'm just listening. Conversation continues [redacted] the owner then said with a very nasty attitude MAKE HER PAY THE WHOLE $700.00. I said before I pay $700.00 I will turn you in to the A G because I'm a customer and that's not how you talk to people. And I didn't need a radiator replaced. My sister who left the office then returns and in front of her the owner [redacted] admits to not having knowledge of his mechanic [redacted] replacing the radiator. The owner admits it was done while he wasn't there. I let them write up the total because I wanted proof of them trying to charge me for repairs on a radiator I didn't need. I did make a payment of $160.00 on 8/28/15 & 9/4/15 for the Valve Cover Gaskets & plugs. But I'm not paying the $220.00 for the radiator repairs that weren't needed. The owner is very nasty not just to customers but his employees also who are afraid to speak up for themselves. Not a good place to take a vehicle for repairs. Every time I go it's one price when I return it's a different price. And I made them aware of this. I will cancel my account after this is handled. ThanksDesired SettlementNot paying for repairs not needed or approved by owner. Because owner admits to not approving the work to be done to a part that wasn't needed.I feel that thought because I'm a female I wouldn't know right from wrong. They are scammers and have several complaintsBusiness Response The customer brought her [redacted] to have the valve cover gaskets and plenum gasket replaced for a cost of $400.00. Upon starting the job the mechanic brought to our attention that the spark plugs and pcv valve with grommets also needed to be replaced. We charged $20.00 for the parts and installation of the pcv valve with grommets. We charged the customer just $60.00 for our cost of the spark plugs and no installation charge. Removing the top radiator hose from the engine, the other end of the radiator hose came detached from the radiator. Inspecting the radiator hosel and radiator hose, it was determined that the radiator hosel broke off at the point where the radiator hose ended. The broken end of the hosel remained in the radiator hose. The top of the radiator and hosel is made of plastic and it is normal for the plastic to deteriorate over time with heat. The normal and customary cost for this radiator and hose including labor, antifreeze and purging the system is $400.00. I charged the customer only $200.00 which was less than my cost, giving the customer a discount of $200.00. The reason the customer was having the work done by Auto Show was because she could not afford to have it done elsewhere because there is no place other than Auto Show that offers an open account to those in need. We financed $540.00 of the total bill of $700.00. This is another example where a customer is working the system to get even more for nothing. My sanity to help these people is wearing thin. If they do not like our service, they need to go to another service center or find a shade tree mechanic and pay more and pay their bill at completion. There are no findings what so ever that substantiates Auto Show should be liable to endure anything. Sincerely [redacted] President & General ManagerConsumer Response I tried to settle this matter as the owner admitted to not approving the repair of the radiator on August 28, 2015 but the owner [redacted] was to aggressive and very rude as a business owner. So I just wanted proof even after his statement in front of my witness [redacted] the receptionist still added the radiator repair to the ticket.Final Business Response The accusations are untrue. If she would like, I will put her rioted radiator back on and remove the new one which I only charged $200.00 for. I will also reduce her account balance by the $200.00 in which we had originally charged her. Again I reiterate this is a customer trying to get something for nothing. I have been running this business for over eight years and have financed over two million dollars to our customer base. There is no company that does in house financing as we do. This would be impossible if we were a company as she believes we are. It is customers such as her that are ruining it for our customer base of five thousand that appreciate our good will. customers.

Non-Disclosure of re-stock fee for tiresI called this business to obtain two new tires for my car. I was informed that the tires had to be ordered. I made a appointment for that Saturday. I arrived on Saturday for my appointment they were slammed so I left intending to return. Found a place down the street who had the tires in stock and had them put them on. A couple of days later had countless phone calls from Auto Show asking if I wanted to reschedule. After I did not return their phone call. They sent me a nasty letter informing me of a $20.00 restock fee for the tires I did not purchase. If there is a restock fee I signed nothing acknowledging I knew prior to leaving or when I first made the appointment I would be held accountable for this fee.Desired SettlementSTOP assuming every customer that comes your business has poor credit and no options. Provide clear understanding of business practices that are well documented and acknowledged by both parties prior to any service done. Take the $20 fee off my account, stop sending letters of how people lie on the Revdex.com complaintsBusiness Response How guickly we can forget what we read. [redacted] has received a statement of these charges which have been attached to every billing statement we have sent her since January 2012. I have attached a copy of this statement here to. Because of customers not honoring thier committment we had no choice but to enforce these rules. We are the only automotive company which offers in house financing to those in need at no interest. Our rules fit the need and the costs fit the situation. We try hard to satisfy every customer but unforetunetley sometimes we can not. AUTO SHOW INC.IMPORTANT PAYMENT INFORMATION Our finance program is dependent on every customer with an open account to pay their payments in a timely manner as committed. The funds used to finance our customers are limited. Customer payments control our ability to finance others. Please remember, we are there for your needs and purchases, so please pay on time and make it possible for us to help others in their time of need. We set your payments based on when you receive your pay. This helps to enable everyone to pay on time. We also accept payments over the phone with credit or debit cards to help those with just not enough time. If you are unable to pay your payment on time for any reason, we only ask that you take the time to call us and let us know. We are aware that life is unpredictable at times so all we ask is for a new date that you feel comfortable with, to pay your payment. This new date will be recorded on your account card and placed in a file marked committed. You will not be contacted again unless you fail to pay or contact us by your new payment date. When an account is delinquent and we have not heard from the customer, the customer account card goes into a file marked uncommitted. These uncommitted customer account cards are phoned consistently until we have established a new payment date. This procedure is costly so we ask for your cooperation in this matter and make it your responsibility to call us when things do not go the way you intended and your payment is going to be late. We will not charge late fees to any customer that calls us to extend their payment date by the due date. Customers that fail to pay their account are ruining it for everyone. We accept new customers for financing based on them being referred by another customer in good standing. If a customer that is referred does not pay their account, the customer who referred that customer will have their account put on hold until the referred customer brings their account current. Those that do not pay their account will be sent to PRC our collection company. Your account will then be forwarded directly to all three credit reporting agencies. These accounts will be charged a 15% collection fee on the balance. We will not discount any account. Accounts that exceed $200.00 will be filed in court where we will also ask for court costs, attorney fees (which can exceed $500.00) and a judgment which we will use to pursue and attach to any assets you own that is allowed by law. These statements above are the same as on your credit agreement which you signed when establishing your account. Everyone here at Auto Show Inc. / [redacted] are proud to serve our customers needs. We take pride in our ability to assist our customers in their automotive and tire needs. Auto Show continues the Christian assertiveness that [redacted] brought to this company 30 years ago. We strive every day to help those in need and less fortunate.NEW CHARGESAn application fee of $10.00 will be charged to help with the initial costs of opening a new customer account for someone who has never done business with Auto Show Inc. / [redacted] before.A customer failing to show for an appointment and not calling to cancel will be charged a $10.00 fee.A customer failing to show for a scheduled automotive appointment, failing to call to cancel the appointment, the parts having been procured by Auto Show, will be charged a $10.00 fee to cover the cost of returning the parts which includes the restocking fees we incur.A customer failing to show for a scheduled tire appointment, failing to call to cancel the appointment, the tires having been procured by Auto Show, will be charged a $10.00 fee to cover the cost of returning the tires as we do not warehouse tires.A customer failing to make their scheduled payment on time and not calling to extend their payment will be charged a $25.00 fee to assist in the cost of calling customers which are delinquent.A $10.00 fee will be charged for rotation and balance for tires purchased after April 1, 2011.A $10.00 fee will be charged for diagnostic services.Consumer Response The notice that this company is speaking of is a flier that is mailed out it starts with thanking on time paying customers and describing how customers are sending in claims to the Revdex.com that you have to read in its entirety to get to the tire re-stock fee.Since I pay my bills on time I never looked at this flier also take in consideration my last account with them was in 2012! Am I really suppose to remember some flier? I received a new flier along with a nasty letter in the mail regarding this re-stock fee. My account prior to this restock fee was PAID IN FULL and was never late for a payment. If Auto Show has a history of customers not paying their bills on time and "messing it up for other customers" and it is not a warehouse of tires. Why on earth Auto Show did you allow me to walk out of your facility (A on time paying past customer) and not communicate this policy to me. Assuming that customers are reading a budget flier in the mail is bad business practice and poor communication. The professionalism of this company is apparent in the way they spelled " Unforetunetley " in this response. Assumptions are just that. You assumed I had read this policy and did not bother to have me sign anything documenting my acknowledgement this fee existed. Documentation is everything and I feel a company that claims to be so community serving would WRITE OFF $20.00 in order to keep a customer with a history of on time payments and a closed account.I also referred two other people who also paid their account in full. Are you seriously coming for me for $20 for tires I did not purchase? I would appreciate GREAT CUSTOMER service that so many business have and you write off this $20.00 charge. Thank you.Final Business Response Let's review all the facts. She amitted that she is aware of the flyer and to the knowledge of the verbage of the document which we have been sending out every four months. This flyer which she speaks of has nothing to do with her billing statement which has the attached sheet that is already attached in my rebuttle. She admitted that she arrived for her appointment but she arrived late and we explained to her that we would get her in guickly but we were quite busy. She said she would reschedule and left. As per the assumed nasty letter which is not a nasty letter, it states our attempt to continue our in house financing to help those in need and that it requires everyone to pay their bill in a timely manner. It also states to call us as we will always extend payments with just a phone call. The bill stands as it is and her account is closed based on our rules. I take great pride in our customer service which over 4000 of our customers agree with. Make note that flier in this instance is spelled flyer.

Unprofessional and Dishonest. Charging for work that was not authorized by me nor the warranty companyOct of 2013 I had my [redacted] towed to Auto Show in Raleigh NC. I did not want to bring my car to this shop but received two good references from my sister-in-law and her friend so I decided that the payment plan that the shop offers would be a great alternative than paying the repair cost all at once. Prior to Nov 22 2013 neither me nor my fiancé stepped foot into this repair shop, all of our interactions were through telephone and fax. My vehicle was towed to Auto Show because we believed that the timing chain had broken which caused the car not to start. I expressed this and was told that before they can call the warranty company the engine has to be broken down so a proper diagnostic can be given. It takes him a week to call the warranty company and get the car repaired. That following week the Owner/Manager calls my phone, my fiancés phone and my sister-in-law's friend phone within a 40 minute time span and leaves a disturbing voicemail which made me have no desire to speak with the Owner/Manager so I let my fiancé handle the situation from that point on. After supposedly fixing the timing chain we were told that the distributor is now bad and he needs to call the warranty company to see if it is covered. The Distributor is now fixed and he tells my fiancé that the Oil Pump is no good and tells us that the cars runs but it will blow up if we drive it down the street. He tells us that the Oil pump is covered through the warranty and it would only be 2 hours of labor, my fiancé gives him the go ahead to fix the pump if it is covered. We get a call 2 weeks later from the Owner/Manager about the same issue saying that the Oil Pump is bad; my fiancé had to remind the Owner/Manager that they already had this conversation. The Owner/Manager is now saying that the labor for the Oil Pump is not covered it's a 7 hour job and the Warranty Company will only pay 131.00 towards a new Oil Pump part. The Owner/Manager said he needs us to call the warranty company to see why the pump is not covered. My fiancé calls and she is told that the labor for the pump is not covered because the timing chain (our original issue) and Oil Pump is in the same area and should have been fixed together. When my fiancé calls the Owner/Manager about the Oil Pump he tells her that they already fixed the Oil Pump (without authorization) and the car is running smooth. Friday Nov 22 2013 my Fiancé and I decided to retrieve our vehicle because we did not want it at his shop anymore. We walk into the shop and speak with the Owner/Manager and tell him that the Oil Pump is not our responsibility because he failed to get our authorization on the repair. I tell the Owner/Manager that I will not be paying for any repairs until I take the vehicle to an off-site mechanic to verify all repairs made. I offer to write up a contract in regards to payment being that throughout this entire process I did not sign one piece of paper officially authorizing any repairs exceeding the amount of 350.00 nor did I receive a written repair estimate from the Owner/Manager which clearly violates Chapter 20 Article 15B in the NC repair act. I offered to pay the Owner/Manager under terms that would make me more comfortable with this horrible service. He tells me that I am not getting my vehicle until I pay which again violates the repair act there is no documented estimate of how much I was responsible for and if there is an estimate it was never signed and officially authorized by me or my fiancé. I attempted to go the best route and pay for the services I asked for, but after over a month of not having my vehicle, violation of multiple laws, fraud, and deceit I have no desire to pay this company a dime. It was a waste of time and energy I would like my vehicle and for this gentleman to never call my phone again.Desired SettlementI would like my vehicle. Or a equal monetary value I paid for the vehicle. I attempted to come to agreement and gave every effort to make a legally binding contract stating I will pay for the services requested. I was denied and I am willing to take this matter to court I much rather not but I will if that circumstance arises. I was never asked to come in and sign any paperwork or documentaion the only thing I was asked to provide was the warrenty informationBusiness Response Revdex.com CASE # [redacted]I am tired of the slanderous comments against Auto Show Inc., its management and mechanics. We are the most honest, trustworthy and Christian automotive facility in Raleigh, NC. We are continuously being attacked by a few customers who want something for nothing or refuse to pay for the work they requested. Even though we are forced to endure these types of people we still continue to assist those who appreciate our service. We are the only company that offers in house financing without a credit check for automotive needs. We do this because Auto Show Inc. is a Christian company and its purpose is to help those in need. We are proud of our record of appreciation as we have a following of over 4000 customers and discount those few who refuse to acknowledge our generosity. I bring your attention to [redacted] statement that he had received two good references and was the reason he brought his vehicle to Auto Show Inc. This was to be an insurance job and unfortunately insurance jobs take longer than a non insurance job because of the time it takes to get authorization. The time factor for this insurance job was normal. Realize that insurance jobs are done in stages because of the time factors in communication between the vehicle owner, insurance company and the automotive facility. During the communication periods the vehicle cannot be worked on continuously as a normal job would be. In reference to the three phone calls I made, the first was made to the first contact number which happened to be [redacted] girl friend [redacted]. The second phone call was made to [redacted] referral because I needed to speak to her regarding referring him to be approved for a credit account. The third phone call was to [redacted] where I left a message on his voice mail. I explained that the insurance company had finally contacted me and approved the work and the amount they would pay. I discussed this with [redacted] and she gave the go ahead to proceed with the timing chain kit. We finished the timing kit and the vehicle failed to start. Our diagnostic revealed that the reluctor in the distributor was bad. I called the insurance company for approval and they denied coverage stating that it is considered a wear item. I called [redacted] and explained the dilemma and the price to replace the distributor and she approved the work. After completing the distributor the vehicle started up but the engine seemed to be starving for oil. We did an oil pressure test which revealed the oil pump was only putting out from 2 to 8 pounds of pressure. It could be concluded that the oil pump was probably the whole cause for the failure of the timing chain and its components. I called [redacted] and she approved the work of $972.00 for the oil pump and I explained I would work with them on the price based on the results of the insurance coverage. I called the insurance company about the claim and they told me they would call me back. When they finally called back they only agreed to pay $131.00 to cover the cost of the oil pump stating that the oil pump should not have taken any additional time if installed with the timing kit. This statement would normally be true as the oil pump is in the timing cover which we removed to install the timing kit. Unfortunately, it was not determined that the oil pump was bad until after we completed the timing kit and started the engine. There are two problems that exist here; the first is the part cost and the second is the failure of the insurance company to pay the proper coverage for labor. The oil pump we purchased cost us $280.53 compared to the $131.00 the insurance company offered. The normal time to install the oil pump is seven hours of labor at $84.00 per hour and the total cost of the job was $972.00. [redacted] called the insurance company as I had recommended to her later and they agreed to pay $300.00 towards the oil pump. Auto Show Inc. agreed to discount the $972.00 oil pump job by $452.00 making the total cost only $520.00 The $300.00 the insurance company agreed to pay reduced the total cost to [redacted] to only $220.00. Let it be known that the failure in the motor was directly caused by poor vehicle maintenance by the owner of the vehicle as described in the vehicle maintenance manual. The vehicle has over 187,000 miles and the chain tensioners should have been replaced at 150,000 miles. I stated in the beginning [redacted] is a customer who is attempting to get something for nothing and this is just not going to happen in this case. This is [redacted] problem as he failed to spend the money needed to maintain the vehicle as required as stated in the vehicle manual The total amount for the timing kit was $1400.00 which I discounted to $1200.00, the distributor was $326.00 which I discounted to $300.00 and the oil pump was $972.00 which I discounted to $520.00. The total bill came to $2698.00. The total amount I discounted was $678.00 leaving the balance of$2020.00. The insurance company is funding $826.16 reducing the total amount due by [redacted] to only $1193.84. Realize Auto Show Inc. cannot get paid from the insurance company until we have a signed invoice by [redacted]. The $1193.84 is the total amount due at this time and starting December 2, I will have no choice but to charge $35.00 a day for storage. Thank you, [redacted]Final Consumer Response Ok first off maintenance could definitely be the problem but before you start trying to bash a person for not maintaining a car find out all of the facts. I bought the car at 186,000 miles so the person before me did not maintain the car, secondly how dare you say that I'm trying to get something for nothing. I made you an offer to write a contract to have the car inspected by a mechanic of my choice and pay you the agreed amount. Contracts if you didn't know are legally binding; it would be the first piece of paper that would have been signed by me or my fiancé, my terms if you did not hear me when I spoke to you were I take my car to an offsite mechanic sign any documentation needed and pay you the money that we owe once I can verify the work [redacted] said he was doing was actually done. That was my terms and under the nonsense, false statements and 2 months of "communication problems" it is extremely fair. Now we can take this to court if you like but I would rather not waste my time. Read up on NC state laws [redacted], there are plenty of them. Where's the signed authorization by me or my fiancé? Where's the written repair estimate that we have to sign before any work is done? Why is my car still at you shop collecting "storage fees" because you refused to give me my vehicle? Why was the oil pump fixed before you verified if the insurance company would cover it? Did we authorize the oil pump to be fixed? Absolutely, but were we told that the insurance company would cover it. Yeah [redacted] said that. Did you call us a week later and tell us that the oil pump was not going to be covered because you were trying to charge for 7 hours of labor when previously you told my fiancé 2 hours of labor? Yeah you did. Were we told by [redacted] to call the insurance company to see why it wasn't covered and get back to you to give u the go to fix it? Yeah we were. When my fiancé called you to tell you not to fix the oil pump because it was not covered what did you tell us [redacted]? That you fixed the oil pump once you thought it was covered right? You told us it was covered, fixed the vehicle called us and told us it was not covered and now trying to charge for it? That sounds like a personal problem that you made a bad assumption and fixed the oil pump because you thought it was covered. Not to mention retracting the payment plan you offered so you can add the storage fees that was not even mentioned to us prior to this situation. So I decided to read up on Vehicle repair laws and you're in violation of about 4 or 5 of them. One particular one is refusal to give a customer their vehicle when requested when the price for a repair is different from what was given in the written repair estimate, since there is no documented proof that we approved a repair that was not covered under the insurance what exactly would your case be? That pre written" I have over 4000 cars "helping people out" pitch you put on every one of your responses to complaints? Come on [redacted] you will save yourself money and save me a lot of time and energy if you play this the fair way instead of trying to come on top because I'm not a push over in no way, shape or form. I'm a Student I work full time and I'm in the [redacted] and have been in for Over 4 years now my fiancé is in the [redacted]. I have [redacted]s that depend on me with life decisions and you dare try to make me seem like I have reason to try to get over on you? Please. Final Business Response The problem here is I know where I stand in regards to this matter and you do not. You continue to flounder with your accusations and have no facts. I am the one in the automotive business and know what I am talking about and you do not. I went way past my call of duty to get the insurance company to cover your damages and you still are complaining. There is no shop that is going to allow you to take your vehicle to have it inspected by another shop without paying for the work which had been completed with or without a contract to pay or not. Your fiancé did agree to have all the work done and you did say you were leaving it up to her to handle it. [redacted]. [redacted] Pick your vehicle up by this weekend and pay the out standing bill in full and I will wave all storage fees to show good faith. I will also still honor our warranty. God bless

Auto Show staff is very rude and disrespectful to their customers and do not know how to handle the pressures of their business they choose own. I dropped my vehicle off to Auto show in March of 2014 after being told a nox sensor had to be replaced. I was instructed to bring it right at opening and was told it should be ready after 12. I called after 12 the lady answered the phone had no clue who I was or my car was on the premises, after about 30 minutes on the phone I was told it will be ready in a few hours. . I called back at 1:30 and again at 4:00pm this is where I was rudely told to stop calling I am harassing them my vehicle will be ready when it is ready and to leave them alone and I was hung up on. I immediately called back and I was appalled that a so-called "[redacted]tian run family owned" establishment would treat customers in such a manner. I called back to get hung up on 3 more times. I had my husband then call who was very polite and he was told they had an accident with one of the mechanics in the shop and it has been a hectic day. When my husband asked why did you hang up on my wife so rudely the person hung up on him when he called back the threatened to leave my car taken apart and not put it back and hung up. I had to take a cab to work and my husband picked up my car, at that time we paid for our repair we left and planned on never coming back. In Late September of 2014 my check engine light came on. While getting new tires they pulled the code and got the Nox sensor again. I called Auto show I explained the situation and they stated the part might of gone bad and schedule a time to bring it back in. I advised the same lady on the phone I would love to bring my vehicle in for you to look into the situation and see if something is wrong with the part and replace it but I wanted to make sure I was dropping my car off during a time they can fix it in a timely manner and if not please let me know so we can reschedule instead of keeping my car way past closing time and being rude about it. The young lady went back into "Rude mode" explain things happen parts take a while to get their and I told her politely that was not the excuse I was given in March I was told some one hurt their back in the shop and that was the person that was going to work on my car. I understand and I hope the young man is ok but I should have been given the opportunity to get my car and bring it back with it was less hectic. I was again hung up on I called back asked to speak to the owner. A young man got on the phone rude from the start stating his name is "[redacted]" in actuality after speaking to the real "[redacted]" that young mans name is "[redacted]". Why lie about your name unless you are doing or saying something that you know is unprofessional and rude, this man yelled at me and then hung up. I called back and I finally got the real "[redacted]" or he said his name was "[redacted]" who was very apologetic and some one I could actually deal with who did not argue or make excuses. He would not address the customer service issues and his associates being rude, so I asked to talk to the owner he told me the owner was out of town in [redacted] for the [redacted]. I told [redacted] I will wait to bring my car in once he calls me back and I can deal with some one in a professional manner. Things go wrong in every business but it is how you handle the problem and conduct your self with your "Paying customers" a "I am sorry" I apologize would of gone miles with me and my family. I would of even left my car there if you needed more time due to the accident in the shop. The display of some one not calling me back since mid September shows me this is not a company I choose to do business with. I want to the owner to call me schedule a time for me to bring my truck for review and fix the problem and send me on my way with out the antics and rudeness. Your tone and demeanor in which you talk to customers goes a long way if your rude to a customer because they ask about their car too many times then get out of the business or get their car done in the time you stated or deal with them calling and asking. Desired SettlementI first want to say I own a [redacted] that is in very good condition and this is my first major repair on it I am the first an only owner bought it with less than 3 miles on it. I have service records to show we take very good care of my car. I've seen plenty of responses bashing previous customers about the inability to pay or how out of service their cars are or how they are all liars and if you think a customer is rude this is the business you choose deal with it professionally with out threats and rudeness. I want to go ahead and take all of that out of the equation that seems to be your script when you reply to these complaints. I want the owner to call me back and set up a time for them to look at my car review the situation and send me on my why with out dealing the rudeness of his staff. For every upset customer that leaves this establishment that is 20 more that are never going to show up on your door a good amount of people look at the Revdex.com complaints on file and, the way you reply to customers on the complaint shows the way you treat customers, and eventually that "more business than you can handle will dwindle away. Not everyone can be a liar or don't want to pay or came in with a car that was not maintained and want you to work a miracle some point you have to look in your office, at you ,and your staff. Bring my car in please in professional manner if it needs to be fixed please fix it a you and will never hear from me again. Thank you.Business Response I do not agree with the allegations stated. I was in [redacted] with my [redacted] who was having [redacted]. Auto Show was blessed with an abundance of work at that time. Unfortunately my staff let their ability overload their capabilities in an effort to accommodate each and every customer. I congratulate my staff for their effort and apologize to those which they were unsuccessful in keeping content and happy. Customers seem to think their vehicle is the only vehicle we are repairing. We schedule customer vehicles based upon statements stated by our customers as to the problems they have. Unfortunately sometimes the customers diagnostic and or another facility wrongly diagnosed the problem with the vehicle. This creates a problem not only for the customer and Auto Show but for all the other customers we are attempting to repair their vehicles. Because this situation exists we initiated a policy to never give an exact time for completion but an estimated time to complete. We always tell our customers that we will call them when their vehicle is completed but can call us anytime for an update. We all at Auto Show Inc. apologize to any customers which were inconvenienced during this period [redacted] For the record I have yet to hear from the manger to call me and set a date for the the vehicle to come in. I should not have to make a Revdex.com complaint to have my car come in. I also notice you mentioned sometimes cars are not delayed because customers come in with their own diagnosis the the problem. That is not the case with my car. You pulled the code and fixed what you stated needed to be fixed not me Why would you just take a customers word for it when your in the business and should be the authority??? I am till waiting for a phone call and when I politely and ask for the owner, I am told they will not put the owner on the phone. Business Response Enough is enough! Auto Show did respond to the complaint in a timely manner. It is obvious that nothing we say will ever make you happy and we are oh so sorry. We do know that thousands of customers are thankful for our service and dedication and will always patronize Auto Show. If our service does not meet your needs you can always go elsewhere and pay more. Final Statement Business Response Enough is enough! Final Statement Consumer Response Since Sept we are still waiting for a phone call from the owner setting up a time to correct the problem with the [redacted]. They can reply to Revdex.com complaints but they have yet to follow Thru with any service. YES it is poor customer service if I as a paying customer has been waiting since Sept for you to make a simple phone call and correct a problem "YOUR" shop not any other shop diagnosed and supposedly fixed and now is going bad less than 7 months later. What is your excuse ???? I would be happy if my [redacted] came in already and got fixed. To make matters worse my self and my husband have called over 20 times requesting to speak to the owner (far from being rude) and we are told we are never going to speak to him. It is WANT TO MAKE ME HAPPY MAKE THE PHONE CALL BRING THE CAR IN AND FIX IT RIGHT or Diagnose it so it can be done correctly. It is a simple reasonable request you refuse to do. it has gone from Calling requesting you call back and never getting a call back to a Revdex.com complaint and still no call all you have to do is pick up the phone and WON'T Business Response I said yesterday enough is enough but I will respond this last time. There is no evidence to your madness. Even though the work we did to your vehicle is warranted, it is yet to be determined that the work we did in March 2014 is defective. You drove your vehicle for seven months with no problems yet you incriminate Auto Show without sufficient evidence after this period of time. Even though we requested that you return to Auto Show so we can determine the problem with your vehicle you refused our invitation. This is your problem. You need to deal with this situation without accusations against Auto Show. Your vehicle problem has yet to be substantiated. Please stop your harrassment.
