Response:

We have some paperwork issues to resolve with [redacted] and need him to bring his vehicle in so we can redo the MV paperwork and get him a corrected title. I have reached out to him by phone and received a message he returned my call.

Review: I bought a used car. It was a certified pre-owned car listed for 18,900. The salesman and I settled for a price of 17,500. Then he added 2,500.00 to the price of the car. He said this charge was for the car"being certified pre-owned." But there isn't any such charge in my paperwork. He just added to 2,500 because he wanted a large commission check.Desired Settlement: I would like an ajustment in price to my sales contract or credit for the service department.

I entered a complaint against Autosport Honda about two months ago. Recently I was contacted by the general manager, Eric, who resolved the problem. He issued a refund check to me for the overpayment. I received the check in the mail. The complaint number was [redacted]

Review: Thd company provided wrong, misleading, and incomplete information regarding service for my car. I was informed that I loner cars were available prior to bringing in my car and upon arriving, this statement was withdrawn leaving me stranded. Additionally when I was given information to contact one of the representatives regarding my car, he was unavailable causing an extreme delay in handling the issue, finally when I attempted to follow up after the weekend another representative stated she was only left a note that said "check car" and finally upon talking to the original representative again he stated "I thought you already picked up your car" now the company is refusing to release my car to me without paying a diagnostic fee of $112.00 which I feel is inappropriate die to their lack of communication and failure to resolve and of the issues in a timely manner.Desired Settlement: Return keys and car to my possession.

Review: I purchased a 2010 g37s at auto sport Honda about 2 months ago. However, before doing so I noticed the car did not have a manual inside the car. I told the sales person that I will not buy a car that I'm not too familiar with without a manual, it's the same as not having instructions on how to operate a machine. The salesman told me not to worry, they will either locate the previous owner and try to get the manuals, or they will purchase me a manual for the car. He told me not to let the manual affect my decision, obviously he was trying to force a sale. I ended up calling the salesman countless weeks and left messages about the manual and never got a returned call. I sent text messages and emails about the manual, and got no response. I even emailed the finance manager and spoke to her about the situation and still never got a response. I texted the sales men and he ignored everything. Before that. I went in to pick up my plates and asked him in person about the manual and he said they're working on it. It has been 2 months now and no one has reached back out to me after my attempts. I feel as if I was lied to just to buy this car which I'm stuck with today and hardly know how to use the features because I don't have a manual. I think this is very unfair as a customer and being lied to. Not only is that wrong but the fact I was promised a manual by the managers and salesman if I bought this car, and when I did buy the car they completely cut me off.Desired Settlement: I would like auto sport to purchase the manual for the 2010 g37s coupe so I can learn how to use it. Especially when they told me not to worry, they will get me a manual.

Review: Ultimately, my wife and I were repeatedly promised, by various employees in various departments, a refund for repairs made due to a safety issue that did not allow the vehicle we purchased from Autosport Honda to be driven to the dealership for repair by them and they would not arrange for or reimburse for any towing expenses. After having several issues following the purchase of our used vehicle with misrepresentations by the salesperson, the registration not being provided, requiring an extension of time to have the vehicle inspected, not receiving advertised perks (namely 1 year of free satellite radio), not being supplied with the spare key as well as other missing tools, the car we purchased began shaking. We immediately brought the vehicle back to the dealership for diagnosis and repair. They returned the vehicle to us advising the issue was resolved. Shortly following that, we were experiencing the same shaking issue we had contacted them about previously and, upon examining the vehicle myself, realized the calipers were seized. We contacted the dealership to advise of the issue and were authorized to perform the work ourselves as they could not authorize a towing expense, there would not be a way to get the vehicle back to them safely and it was something that was overlooked on their part. The repairs were completed in May, receipts for the parts purchased from [redacted] were supplied to the service department in person and the parts I removed from the vehicle and replaced were made available to them for examination. Several phone calls and emails have been exchanged to date following up on the status of the reimbursement. We have been advised several times it is forthcoming, but to date, we have not received the reimbursement check and our last couple of communications have gone unanswered. Autosport Honda was advised telephonically and via email that we would be filing a complaint if they did not address the issue. They have not.Desired Settlement: We would like reimbursement in full for the parts purchased from [redacted] We would also like compensation for the travel and time it took to make the repairs as well as the several telephone conversations, emails and inconvenience of following up.

Response:

After speaking with my team after first hearing of the issue, it was apparent to me that I should reach out to [redacted]. I did and after speaking to her I asked that we receive full documentation of parts purchased to evaluate issuing a credit. To date I have not received any detailed invoices. It is hard to issue credit based on bank account transaction snapshots of a cell phone screen (which was provided by [redacted]). As far as compensation for travel time, and emails, that is a ridiculous request, insulting as well, and forces me to question the validity of all previous claims. Thank you.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: as explained in the complaint, and shown in supporting documentation, original receipts were physically handed to an individual in the service department. Misplacement of those receipts while in the possession of Autosport employees is beyond my control. Autosport was advised that an attempt to secure additional copies from the auto parts store were made, but unsuccessful. Screen shots of debits were provided, upon request, as proof of amounts paid. Additional attempts to resolve the matter have been made via email and telephone but have gone unanswered by Autsport. An extraordinary period of time and effort has gone in to the resolution of this matter, and for all of those extra steps, we feel we should be compensated. The issue could have been handled simply by Autosport arranging for the vehicle to be towed in the first place. We have been lied to and manipulated and should be earning interest on the money we put out!
