Can not tag vehicle in SC due to lien holder information torn off of title. Dealer refuses to communicate.I have listed the items of which I sent the owner of the car dealership via his personal email and he promised to contact me and hasn't done so. I have been trying for over six weeks to get this corrected and have been unable to do so. As of today's date we were informed that as of this coming Saturday, March 12th we will be forced to park my husband's vehicle that we paid cash for due to not having a valid tag. If he drives and is stopped he can be fined substantially or arrested. We feel the dealership was not only negligate in their actions but that the acts listed below constitute fraud. 1. My husband [redacted] spoke to the sales reps at Garner before ever driving to see the car and placed a $500 deposit on the car so that it would still be available and him not make a 3 hour drive in vain. Once he decided to purchase the vehicle they neglected to deduct the deposit from the final amount and we were assured it would be in our bank account the next day. It was not. [redacted] called and was assured it was being handled. We then waited. A week went by and still no return of funds. So I called again and spoke to [redacted] who told me it was a simple mistake and it would be done that day. (The money was returned next day).2. [redacted] spoke to the sales reps and informed them he already had a $2500 dollar cash offer from [redacted] before driving up there. He was then informed they would at least match [redacted] and "most likely" beat their offer. However, once he was handed paperwork he was told they would only give him 2000 dollars. He had already turned over his truck and is not one to cause problems so he felt he had no choice. He could have easily had someone drive him to [redacted] and get the cash money from them but no one even offered to do that. This was a cash deal and under the circumstances he was not treated fairly. My Dad raised me to believe a person is only as good as their word and that goes along way. They gave their word they would at least match [redacted] and didn't. And waited to explain this until after they had his truck. I know for a fact that truck would bring at least 4000 dollars if not more. 3. The ladies of the office refused to process our tag and returned only the tag and tax fee. Not the registration and processing fees. They didn't process anything. I've worked for a car dealership and for cash deals we never charged processing fees when we were asking the owners to handle it themselves. We didn't offer to do this. We were forced to handle this and under the circumstances should have all fees associated with returned. When I called and spoke to another lady in the office she was rude and abrasive and said I wasn't getting any further funds returned because of them having to process the registration. However they aren't doing so. 4. I now find out when I went to pay the taxes, etc. that I can't get a tag until the paperwork is corrected since it shows that the final cost was actually the amount allowed for his truck. My husband can attest to all of the facts above. 5. We were informed today 3/9/16 that the vehicle cannot be tagged or titled in SC due to the fact that the Title is torn and missing the original lien holder information. Desired SettlementWe feel we are entitled to a refund of the registration fees, processing fees. Ongoing stress and financial hardship is going to put on us by my husband not having a viable means of transportation to and from his employment. We also feel due to the fraud and verbal promise of matching another dealer's offer and they then shorted our paperwork $500 more dollars we are entitled to that amount being returned as well.

Complaint[redacted] ran my credit through several companies in which I did not give him permission. I only gave him permission for two companies. On February 10, 2014,I went to [redacted] and test drove a [redacted] which was picked up from Auto Store of Greenville. I only gave [redacted] permission to run my credit for a potential car loan from the [redacted] and one company that he said I could probably get financing through. I have received letters from four different companies that Auto Store of Greenville tried to get financing through. I called [redacted] on March 13, 2013 and he said that he could not remember the situation because it was a while ago. [redacted] was not honest with me concerning the value of the car and also tried to over-inflate my income. I do not know how many companies received credit applications from [redacted].Desired SettlementI want [redacted] to apologize to me for using my information without my permission. Business Response On February 10,2014 [redacted] came in to inquire on purchasing a vehicle. [redacted] then filled out a credit app in hopes of us finding her financing. All information was filled out and signed by [redacted]. At that time we then send it around to several lenders in hopes of providing financing. All income was provided by [redacted] and if we have had got her approved financing,we would have to submit proof of income. We apologize for any confusion or misunderstanding this may had cause. Respectfully Submitted,Auto Store of Greenville

Radio commercial advertised through June 30 no credit check $299 down $199 month. Called and asked which vehicles in inventory qualified on June 17 was told inventory less than $12000. Arrived on June 18 was told all those cars had been sold and they would have to run my credit and minimum monthly payment of $260. No cars on website for Greenville location were available.Desired SettlementClassic example of "bait and switch" would like to buy a car under terms advertised don't know if that is possible

I purchased a [redacted] on March 6, 2015 and within 3 weeks the tire pressure sensor, would not start and needed battery, after battery would not start bolts loose, and transmission. On April 3, 2015 [redacted] returned and supposedly repaired. I picked [redacted] up on April 11th and on April 12th the [redacted] would not start anymore. Auto Store stated [redacted] would be picked up April 13th but failed to do so. April 16, 2015 I received assistance to get the [redacted] started to return to Auto Store of Garner. The manager refused to accept the [redacted], return money or give another vehicle. I left the [redacted] on the lot of the Auto Store of Garner and the key on the managers' desk.Product_Or_Service: [redacted]Desired SettlementI want my down payment of $1200 returned because of repeated issues with the vehicle.

Sales Manager by the name of [redacted] just straight out lied to my face about a purchase. On 3/16 I went this lot to inquire about a vehicle that I was interested in. I met with a salesman by the name of [redacted]. Just who at the time seemed willing to help me get in this vehicle. He took my information and lied on my application to get me approved for this car. I even was honest with him and told him that I already had a vehicle financed to me by another agency that was in good standing, but [redacted] insisted on lying on this application and to [redacted] the sales manager to get me approved any way. Everything was approved after his scheming and lying. So the next day we conducted business. After driving the car I was a little uneasy about this particular car being that it was a [redacted] and I have never owned or driven one. I told [redacted] that I wasn't to sure about the car and he asure me that he would give me a week to get used to the car.He was very pushy. After driving the car home, or should I say half way home I realized that I was not gonna be happy with this [redacted]. So I contacted [redacted] and I formed him. He told me to come back to the lot the next day and a see if there was another vehicle that I liked. The 2 that I was interested in, magically disappeared over night so they say. So he was trying to get me in a vehicle that I was not interested in. I advised him that I was not interested. He then told me that he had seen that I had a car already financed with another loan company. I told him the same thing that I had told [redacted] the day before. I then told him that I knew I wouldn't be able to get my money back, but was still interested in finding a car. [redacted] assured me that he had already spoken to his boss and if I didn't find anything in my price range then I would be refunded my money back. He told me to check back with him and he would let me know on today if anymore cars came in, within my price range but if not, he would be cutting me a check today. Well I called back today about returning the car and getting my refund and [redacted] denied the whole thing. I am very upset at this time with the terrible customer service and the scamming service I received. There should be some type of punishment for this business for them to keep getting over on people and taking thei money. Pleas do not buy from this dealer.Desired SettlementAll I'm looking is for another vehicle or to have my money refunded to me with an apology.Business Response The customer has made some very outlandish and inflamatory allegations in her complaint. It would be difficult to respond to each of her misrepresentations but we will do our best. Our sales manager did not lie to the customer. He has held a sales persons license in the State of NC in excess of fifteen years and has never had a complaint lodged against him nor has [redacted] ever had reason to investigate Mr. [redacted]The customers credit application shows her personal information, all provided by her. With poor credit customers, all information is verified through pay stubs, etc. with the finance source. I can assure you there was no intended misrepresntation by our sales consultant on the customers application. If the customer felt that someone was "scheming and lying" why would she have continued on with such a transaction? In fact, on the 16th of march, she put down a $1,500 deposit (fully refundable) on the purchase of the vehicle. The vehicle was brought from our Garner location to our Greenville location the next day, March 17th, for her to review and test drive. She arrived for her appointment on the 17th of march and spoke to our sales manager. He inquired as to if she wanted to go ahead and receipt in the remaining balance due on the deposit of $1,500 and she said she would like to drive the vehicle first and then would decide. She drove the vehicle and chose to proceed with the purchase and she completed her paperwork and paid the remaining balance of her down payment. Oddly enough, the customer neglected to mention in her complaint that while at the dealership she ran into an old aquaintence who happens to be our sales managers wife. When she decided that evening that she didn't liek the vehicle, she did not contact our sales manager - she called his wife at home.Once our sales manager spoke to the customer and she advised him she didn't think she was going to like the [redacted], she stated that she understood she wouldn't get her money back but she would like to "swap" vehicles. Mr. [redacted]located two different vehicles, we have three locations, that met her needs and would work for her limitations in getting financed. Unfortunately, both of those vehicles were sold, while the customer finds this to be "magic", it is simply what we do - sell cars. The customer further neglected to mention in her complaint that she stormed in to our dealershp with her mother and her cell phone on record. Mr. [redacted]was open to speaking with her and her mother however, she wouldn't allow her mother to be involved. I am not certain what she was trying to accomplish in trying to record Mr. [redacted]but what I am certain of is that it is illegal in the State of NC to record a conversation with our both parties consent. The only thing this accomplished was for us to request that she leave our premises immediately. The customer had ample opportunity to decide on purchasing a vehilce - no one was pushy, no one scammed her or lied to her. She did not take immediate delivery, her purchase evolved over two days - she had time to do her research or to choose another vehicle. What she chose to do was be accusatory and inflammatory and she should be advised that Mr. [redacted]is seriously considering legal action against her. Should her video/audio recording or any other portion or misrepresentation be published on any social media outlet, in any way, shape or form, swift and immediate legal action will be taken against her.
