For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I was given a firm time sign but was told, in person, to my face, that my card would not be ran unless speaking to me first My bill is due this month according to the copy that I received in the mail No late date I had every intention of paying it on the 18thSo mid month, which would still qualify as my July paymentI was liedNo one spoke to me before running my card At all. I am sorry for the miscommunication. The agreement made for her medical services was in accordance with our policies and agreed to and signed by the patient. A payment arrangement cannot be made without a credit card on file. We do offer the courtesy of a phone call at the time
each monthly payment is due to give the patient the option of making the monthly payment in another form if preferred. We placed the courtesy call on the 10th, but the call was not answered and the voice mail was either full or not set up. As a result, the payment was made as agreed upon with the card on file. Patient stated she had no intention of paying with the card on file and could not pay until days after the due date due to financial constraints. I explained to the patient that unfortunately, she had misunderstood the intent of the agreement and the payment had to be made according to the agreement she signed
