Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Auto Tech and Tire Center was the last shop to touch my car before I had the oil changed and they told me the oil drain plug had oil pan threads on itHow would Auto Tech and Tire Center know if they cross threaded the oil drain plug if they did not change the oil on 3/23/17, they could have easily cross threaded it and they would have never knownAuto Tech and Tire Center is not doing what is right for the customer they are just trying thinking of what is best for their bottom lineI stand by what I said earlier and now, and I want them to replace the oil pan and other parts related to replacing the oil pan Regards, [redacted]
Once again if we had stripped it out the oil would've leaked outThere is no way we could've done what Walmart says we didWe consider this matter closed

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Auto Tech and Tire Center was the last shop to touch my car before I had the oil changed and they told me the oil drain plug had oil pan threads on it. How would Auto Tech and Tire Center know if they cross threaded the oil drain plug if they did not change the oil on 3/23/17, they could have easily cross threaded it and they would have never known. Auto Tech and Tire Center is not doing what is right for the customer they are just trying thinking of what is best for their bottom line. I stand by what I said earlier and now, and I want them to replace the oil pan and other parts related to replacing the oil pan.

March 23rd, 2017 I received a phone call from said consumer and he stated an employee with Walmart told him his drain plug in his oil pan was stripped out and needed to be replaced. Said consumer also stated Auto Teck & Tire Center was the last place he had an oil change on this vehicle and that...
Auto Teck is responsible for this.My response to said consumer was, How can Walmart be sure Auto Teck did this and how do I not know that Walmart isn't responsible because the vehicle left Auto Teck without leaking and the vehicle was driven 3000 miles or more without any problems. I also said if Auto Teck could be proven negligent, I would repair the vehicle at no charge.I will say in defense, Auto Teck & Tire Center has never had a consumer complaint about an oil drain plug or any other. We have trained technicians that preform hundreds of services each year.Regards,[redacted]Auto Teck & Tire Center
Once again if we had stripped it out the oil would've leaked out. There is no way we could've done what Walmart says we did. We consider this matter closed.
