Auto-Tech Transmissions

Review: They fixed a transmission for me in Feb. of 2013. This repair included a FULL 1 year warranty. In Aug. of 2013 the tranny went again. This time he charged me 615.00 saying the part that failed wasn't covered. I had no choice but to pay. It took him 2 months to fix it, then I went 2 miles and the tranny light came on again. 2 weeks after that he said it was fixed and said he would extend the warranty for 2 months due to taking so long. I went to pick it up, 2 miles the check transmission indicator came on, but no light. I later found out he had removed the OD light, which used to come on when the tranny wasn't working.He sent me a check for the 615.00 since it wasn't the part that caused the failure, and he will not honor the rest of the warranty, saying that the 615 was for the WHOLE warranty.That only covered the extra I had paid him, NOT to void the warranty.This is very upsetting and very bad business.Desired Settlement: If he will not honor the original warranty I would like half of the 2400 I originally gave him which would be 1200, since the tranny only worked with no problems for 6 months.
