I purchased a used truck at Auto Villa in McHenry, ILAfter researching I found that their tactic was completely legal, but am absolutely stunned that it isSo they start negotiating based on the supposed interest rate that their third party lender is offeringThen that rate goes down significantly after they find I had good creditAt that point, I am under the assumption that, that is the BEST interest rate I can get with thier lender- Apparently I was wrong to assume this dealer would look out for me & want me to get the best interest rate (thus being able to afford more)So we start with what monthly payments would be at that rateI tell them I cannot afford that amountThey shave some off and I still tell them the next amount they offer is not do-ableAfter finally getting to an amount I am satisfied with (thinking at this point they had to have lowered the purchase price of the truck, since my interest rate couldn't have been negotiated with that dealer- I am ready to sign the paperwork Unfortunately I signed the paperwork in a hurry because I had a hr drive home and my wife needed to do something that night...When I got home to look over the paperwork, here I ended up paying FULL sticker price for the vehicle & learn that they were lowering the monthly payments because they negotiated the interest rate, even though they weren't the lender....HOW IS THIS A LEGAL PRACTICE? Then I come to learn that not only is it legal, they get a kick back from the lender if there is any left over from the ACTUAL interest rate given....Something is really wrong with this system....I work in real estate & if we did something HALF as shady as this we would get sued- I'd never purchase a vehicle from this dealer again- they truly don't care about their customers- its all about the benjamins....I should've known when I was the only person in their dealership for the hours I was there that something wasn't right...I believe it was Tony that was the person negotiating behind the scenes- he is the manager & the guy that does not care about customer retention....not sure how they are still in business down there- Oh by the way, the truck was FILTHY...they were cleaning it when I showed up for the test drive & figured they would resume after...NOPE...even when they found that I was purchasing the vehicle, they didn't clean it- dirt everywhere & stains on the seats & ceiling What was supposed to be one of the happiest days in my life turned out to leave the absolute worst taste in my mouth....They are the poster boys for SHADY dealerships I should have known when I went inside and ALL the sales reps are stationed in one large room with NO partitions that this was a pretty shady place....but I was blinded by the truck that I've always wanted...LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES

I bought a truck from this place back on February 11, I traded in My *** CTS for a *** RamTwo days later I had to replace The Tire Rods and the wheel bearings on the truckThe repairs cost me $The warranty they sold me didn't cover the repairsA month later after my purchase of the truck, my car was not paid off after I traded it inI was stuck with the payment for my cared I traded in and my new truckWhen I called Auto Villa to tell them what happened, they said it will be paid and they haven't paid it off yet, but they had sold the car already A month later I called to see if my new license plates were in and I was told not to call anymore about it and they will call meHow rude and unprofessionalI been in the military for years and I never experienced so much disrespect and dishonesty when dealing with car dealers until I showed up at this place

We purchased a truck from Auto Villa in Sept of along with an month extended warranty from AUL on the vehicle Last month when we called AUL to find out how use our warranty, we were told that they had no record of us When we contacted the dealership, they said they would look into They are now claiming that AUL turned down our warranty and that if we wanted, Auto Villa would refund me the money we paid Only after we found out when trying to use it, did they offer this I contacted AUL and they have no record of denying us and said that Auto Villa just needed to turn in the contract Looking for a lawyer to get my contract enforced I don't want my money, I want the Warranty they sold me with the vehicle One of the reasons we purchased When my husband contacted the owner, he said "good luck with that"

U sold a lemon of a truck with a bad motor, ur guy supposedly tried fixing however I have documentation saying otherwise from a reputable *** dealerCorrect he has brought the truck back to u several time so again what r u going to do to make it right as this has been going on a week after bought so it was a lemon
Why don't u answer the question as the truck has been back to ur mechanic 6-times n it still shakes, doesn't go over and it is supposed to have turbo - could have fooled meThere is a knock in the motor the engine light goes on all the time then bring it to u n goes off for days cuz u reset the computer- not stupidSo what r u going to do to make it ethically right
