I am rejecting this response because: The business owner is flat out lying. First, I brought my car back to him six times after the initial brake job was done and they never discovered the problem with the brake hardware. It was out of fear for my family's safety that I took the car to [redacted] and they discovered the problem immediately. Second, the owner NEVER offered me a store credit because he has been dodging me for months, he has not returned any of my messages and he flat out lied to me when I had showed him all of the destroyed brake parts back in January of this year when he said he would get back to me in a few days...HE NEVER GOT BACK TO ME AT ALL! And finally, after putting mine and my family's safety at risk because of their incompetent service, including the initial installation and the six follow up visits, I would never let them work on my car again. This response from the owner is the first time that I am hearing about this store credit he is offering. If he had been honorable and made that offer back in January I would have accepted it but now it is too late. I would never let him work on my car again because he has proven himself to be untrustworthy.

Review: I went to this shop just for new brake pads and an oil change..pads are supposed to be under a lifetime warranty!!! I was quoted a priced of 127.00 for the work,at such time I agreed....they tried to sell me a lot of other things which I said no thank you.....they upon checkout charged me 275.70!!!!!...charging 231.00 for labor!!!! this is a ripof!Desired Settlement: I believe I deserve REFUND IN THE AMOUNT OF 152.00

Mr. [redacted] Came in for brake evaluation and oil change he was told about the price from the beginning the fact that he was confused or unclear about the amount was a shock to us as much as it was to him. We showed him the pricing that divides the bill as follows.

1- oil change, oil filter. a courtesy check and tire rotation for $19.99

2- Install front brake pads for $98.00

3- Install rear brake pads and grease and lubricate caliper pistons and fittings which where very difficult to take off for 127.40

Mr. [redacted] when given the estimate he must have thought that the total is that last $127.40

Our Labor hour is at $98 the extra charge on the rear brakes was due to the fact that it took 20 min to loosen up the pistons and lubricate the calipers.

Now you tell me if the pricing is fair or not compared to other rates in my area??

The fact that the customer has misunderstood the charges that we shared with him before we did the work is unfortunate and upsets me more so than the customer. I am in the service business and that is what we are here to do. I will not speak for myself I will let the reviews we have to speak for us.

What we are willing to do is to offer our mutual customer 2 free oil changes and tire rotations and I hope he accepts it and gives another chance to make this right.
