In response the the customer compliant, we have been very helpful and willing to take care of his issues. When his car was first towed here there was little to no fuel pressure. We diagnosed the Audi with a bad fuel pump. We replaced the fuel pump and released the car to the
customer and the customer had the same issue. The car was then brought back for the same issue and we found the fuel pump was being bent by the pressure in the tank. After further investigation, we found that the bottom of the fuel tank was damaged by the customer driving over something like a parking block or a curb or etc. His insurance company was made aware of this and came out to make a claim. His insurance company authorized replacing the fuel tank and pump due to damage while driving, by an object of some sort. We were paid by progressive for those repairs We told the customer the vent valve was also needed. The vent valve will cause the gas pump to turn off due to too much vapor while filling the car up with gas. We offered free labor if he paid for the part. Customers girlfriend, who is the registered owner, came in very mad and took the car. This would solve that issue. We will still offer that to the customer to resolve this issue. As far as the gas cap goes, we did damage his original one and bought a second one. If that is still a problem we will take care of that. thanks -Daniel S***

in response to having the car for a week for a gas cap, the customer was made aware of the broken gas cap at the time it happened and his response was "keep the car as long as you need to. I would rather wait til the cap comes in" we order our parts through bumper to bumper auto parts by vin. so they might have made a mistake in sending the wrong part. we have agreed to rectify this problem by fixing the gas cap and offering him free labor on the vent valveMaybe the customer should go to a different shop and get an estimate and diagnosis on his check engine light to see if we are on the same page. we have not received any phone calls from progressive and if we did we would certainly answer them. I am not understanding why this would go any further because I am willing to correct the mistakes and stand behind my work

It has happened twice with the gas cap and other times have had my car for 3 weeks every time it is touch by there Mechanics something else is wrong since day one have had issues and we can clarify what I am talking about with my insurance company telling them the car was done when it was not. I cannot not have my car for weeks then something still wrong.. when it goes in to get fix not still have a engine light on.....
