Auto Zoom at *** sold me a car and the transmission went out the next day. I had the car towed back to them and they refused to give my $2700 back, They then gave me a second car instead, And it also had transmission issues. I returned the 2nd car as well and they still refused to give my money back, So they gave me a 3rd car And it also has transmission issues, I've complained, called and text them, But the issue didn't get resolved. I'm just fed up with these ppl and their junk cars. All of this happened in a months time. 3 cars in 1 month and they all had transmission issues. I was just wondering if anything can be done about this ?

On 8-24-19 I purchased a car from this company. I was told the day before oil had been leaking from the car and the front seal on the transmission was replaced. I asked for records but was denied.I examined the car to the best of my ability and the salesman looked me in the eye and told me this was a safe vehicle to put my children in. Two days later the transmission went out causing my infant and I to almost be rear ended in this car. I contacted the owner and he agreed to put another transmission in. He had my car almost three weeks. When I got it back the AWD, ABS, and service engine soon lights were on which were not on when it was picked up.I took it to a shop to be put on a lift to be told that not one of the bolts were removed to take out the transmission which auto zoom told me had been done twice. I also found out that the front seal was never replaced at all. The reason my car was leaking oil the day before I got it was because there is a hole in the bottom of the transmission that auto zoom filled with silicone and spray painted black. When I contacted Chris the owner and asked for my money back or I would be continuing with my complaints I was told I was ignorant. I am a pediatric nurse who spends 50 plus hours a week caring for a terminally ill child and im a single mother of three children. I spent my savings on this car that has been a headache and not save for my children. What this company did and how this owner responded was not right. Revdex.com gives this company a F rating with two reviews similar to my situation. The fact that they patched a transmission hole with silicone and spray painted it to deceive someone into buying the car speaks volumes to their integrity and character.

I recently was in the market of buying a good used vehicle. I found a 202 Chevrolet Impala 3.4L engine with 160K miles on Craigslist owned by the dealership Auto Zoom, 657 E. 5th Avenue, Columbus, OH 43201 (614) 668-2963. I contacted the number by text and by telephone and asked for FULL DISCLOSURE about the vehicle such as accidents, salvage title, any warning lights on the dash, brakes, tires battery, leaks, engine missing, lights working, shorting in lights. I also asked if they performed any routine maintenance on the vehicle since Auto Zoom owned the vehicle. I was informed there were NO ISSUES with the vehicle, oil had been changed and full inspection on the vehicle had been performed. I arrived to look at vehicle and started vehicle and inspected vehicle. All appeared to be ok. On the way home after the purchase of vehicle one of their employees was assisting me in getting the vehicle home and the check engine light came on, turn signals stopped working. The driver admitted the check engine light was on before and was turned off using the OBDII tool and the turn signals always shorted out and coolant light comes on and off because it needs a sensor. This is what THEIR EMPLOYEE who drove the vehicle for me admitted and he drove off. I immediately drove vehicle back to lot and was given the run around being told it was loose gas cap. It was a code P0401 which is a small vacuum leak and/or EGR valve, needs multifunction switch for signals and sensor for coolant level. I WAS NOT DISCLOSED THIS INFORMATION AND TURNING WARNING LIGHTS OFF KNOWINGLY AND SELLING A VEHICLE IS FRADU AND MISLEADING SINCE I ASKED FOR FULL DISCLOSURE.

Customer Response

Sir/madam, I recently filed a complaint *** on Auto Zoom. I would like to add to the complaint. The catalytic converter had been cut off of vehicle and check engine light is back after repairs made that were non disclosed. This was not disclosed as the check engine light was deliberately turned off by Auto Zoom before sale and during sale of vehicle. The vehicle will not pass any inspections due to this. I am seeking added compensation for this in the amount of 250.00 to have this replaced.
