First let me say that we are new owners of Autobella, purchasing the business in December of 2014.  I am sorry that this customer lost a part from her 1999 Acura.  Our goal is for every one of our customers to be not only satisfied, but extremely happy with our...

work. That being said, our records show that the customer had the work done by the previous owner on 10/27/2014, not 12/1/2014 as stated.  I don't believe that there is any way to know what caused the part to come loose, however, had it been in a reasonable period of time, a week or two, I would agree that the work may have had something to do with it.  After 2 months of the customer driving the vehicle, I feel it is unreasonalbe for us to be responsible for lost parts.  The previous owner painted these parts himself, and we no longer provide that service - otherwise I would be happy to have the customer bring in a replacement part for us to paint so it matches.  I'm sorry that it's not possible.
