Revdex.com Response taken over the phone by Revdex.com Staff:The business explained that the consumer is upset with not being provided an itemized bill for the charges incurred during work and labor performedThe reason no itemization can be provided stems primarily from custom nature of the order that the consumer gave themThe beginning of the order was centered around a repair as a result of a collision and the itemized charges for that were for $6,The amount was itemized on a standard form and repaired as per the estimate for his collision until the consumer added custom items that made up the remainder of the billIn this custom order no estimates were given, as standard in the industry for custom buildsThe business claims that the consumer was only concerned as to whether the business was able to perform the custom work and continued to add more as time went onThe business claims that there were many challenges with the with the parts ordered that required a lot of fabricating and custom work from the businessThe business provided an example where there was an order for protective "rock guards" that go underneath the consumer's truck which are made of high strength steelWhen they arrived, the business noted they were for a truck that was two feet longer, and when the business contacted the supplier they were informed that they did not make an example for the vehicle the consumer ownedAs a result, the business had to cut them down, measure them, re-drill the holes for mounting and have them specially structurally welded out of the shopOn more than one occasion the business claims that they had to manufacture an item, custom fit it to the vehicle and then custom coat itThe business stated that the list of work provided to the consumer continues and it's work and parts the business had to pay forThe business claims that the consumer continued to add more products and in turn made the consumer aware that they would pay for it but not be charged until everything was completedThe business claims that the consumer was upset about the wiring, however was provided the opportunity to bring it back should he continue to be dissatisfiedBusiness claims that while the consumer feels upset about the pricing the business was transparent throughout the workBusiness states that at no time did the consumer out a stop to the work.
