Review: I brought Honda CB 400F on 6/6 to have the carburetor rejetted and tuned, fork seals replaced and hopefully have the charging system issues looked into. I was told it would take a week to get to my bike as they were backed up. A week and a half later I called back to check in and was originally told all work would be done on Monday 6/20. Friday 6/17 I was contacted about a problem with the stator and that I would have to purchase the parts on my own, so I did and they were brought in Wednesday, 6/22. I called again on Monday, 6/27, to check in and no repair on the stator had been started yet, I politely asked to keep on top of the repair. They told me it would be ready on Wednesday 6/29. On Wednesday I called and they told me the stator was done a working well but they hadn't gotten to the fork seals yet but they would definitely be done on 7/5 after the holiday weekend. Near the end of the day on Tuesday, 7/5, I called again to check and they were just getting to the seals, but the bike would be ready for pick up Wednesday 7/6 by noon. I tried to call but there was no answer on Wednesday at 1:00 pm so I went to he shop. At 1:45 I was told it would be 45 more minutes, three hours later I left with no motorcycle. On Thursday I was contacted that my motorcycle was ready for pick up. I showed up at 10:30 asked to ride my bike. [redacted] asked me to pay first, so I swiped a credit card for $530.00 and went to start the bike. I noticed the bike was revving very high 2200 rpm but figured I would take it out of the lot. In the 50 yards I rode my motorcycle gasoline was spewing from the second carb and the bike would not shift into second gear. I immediately pulled over and put my bike in my pick up truck to take back to Motorsport express truckee, at which point I also noticed an oil leak from the head gasket. [redacted] met me outside noted the problems and took the bike back inside to work on them. On Monday, 7/11, I called for an update, no work had been performed. I received the bike inop.Desired Settlement: I believe the work done to my bike has rendered it inoperable. I would like to be refunded for all work and discuss compensation in the declined value of the motorcycle due to the botched repairs.
