Autohaus Body Shop Reviews (1)

Review: On April 9, 2014, Autohaus completed a brake pad and rotor installation job on all four corners of my vehicle. Additionally, they balanced the front wheels. It should be noted that I had experienced significant vibrations from the vehicle since this service date, particularly when turning, but seeing as I had two wheels balanced, I was at a loss as to the cause of the vibrations. On April 21, 2014, an associate of mine brought to my attention that I was missing two lug nuts from my driver-side rear wheel, one of which being a wheel lock. Upon discovery of the missing lug nuts, I immediately returned to Autohaus and brought the issue to their attention. The representative in the front of the store was helpful, but stated that the shop did not have the missing parts in the back. The service technicians responded from the back of the shop and were certain that this was not their fault, claiming that someone probably just tried to steal the wheels. I informed the technicians that this is highly unlikely because one of the missing bolts is a wheel lock and I still have the key in my possession. Autohaus acquired and installed two new lug nuts at no charge, but did not replace the missing wheel lock, stating that I would have to go back to my dealer to resolve that issue on my own. Because no other person or shop manipulated the wheels on my vehicle since this service date, It is my belief that Autohaus either failed to reinstall the lug nuts, or did so without torquing the nuts. Either way, my safety and my family's safety was risked as a result. I am asking that Autohaus replace the wheel locks on my vehicle at no charge.Desired Settlement: Since I cannot replace the singular missing wheel lock, I would like to be reimbursed for the cost to replace all four wheel locks on my vehicle.

Here is the link to the replacement locks (total cost - $32.57 with shipping): [redacted]
