Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:As you can see by Bob of AutoKraft’s reply, he doesn’t get it! The new engine had “O” miles on it! The old engine with old parts took me across America and back! Now with a brand new engine I can’t do M.P.Hlet alone climb the smallest hills’ with a brand new engine Bob of AutoKraft installed regardless of whether new or old parts should be able to do better than M.P.Hwith an M.P.Hspeedometer reading! It appears now Bob of AutoKraft is trying to make a fool of the Revdex.com as well, when Bob of AutoKraft goes on to continue to lie about parts I offered to buy but turned down, and I’ve addressed that fact in a previous letter, and I AM tired of hearing it, so let’s get the witnesses testimony! When with their testimony all this can be laid to rest, when goes to the lack of credibility making said statements to a governing agent, and I believe a crime in itself? Bob of AutoKraft claims parts including plugs, wires, distributor, gaskets ectcomes to the total of $bringing the total to over $2,and would have denied any work at that point if it was the initial cost, when that point is moot when Bob of AutoKraft denied the new part’s, again with witnesses! Bob of AutoKraft claims he got the truck running as best as possible with what parts I provided when the cost of parts to Bob of AutoKraft should have included said parts in the initial estimate, so that’s his staffs problem, and not mine! This is the best an “A” rated business with supposedly an ASE qualified “Master Mechanic” can get a brand new engine to run, and not by its spec’s? Is this what the community he claims helping can expect from said “Master Mechanic”, the best he can, and not by the manner in which the engine is supposed to run? Bob of AutoKraft claims I AM harassing him by reporting to my Bank of America to stop payment for this farce of an installment, and to the Revdex.com reporting such practices, when that should include making the engine run properly! The best Bob of AutoKraft can do is not what I paid for, but an installment of an engine that runs properly! If all he believes he was paid for is to install a non-running new engine, then he has a point, but I paid for expecting it to be running by engine spec’s, and not his best! He says he tried to get the engine running the best he can, therefore admitting it doesn’t run by engine specs, and in plus years all the community could hope to expect for? Well then I AM glad I AM not a part of his community and want my money back in order to have my engine fixed by someone whom can do more than “the best they can”! cc: Bank of America Attn: Billing P.OBox Sincerely, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: Bob of AutoKraft is simply lying, when I was asked to take care of this business without the Revdex.com! Bob was offered these parts by me but rejected the offer, with the reason I might buy the wrong ones, and that offer was made in front of two witnesses, my daughter whom drove the truck to the shop, and her boyfriend who works at AutoKraft periodically after requesting to see the new engine! Bob of AutoKraft claims I threw a fit about the original estimate of $that went to $2,and work was done without my approval by law! This point would be moot if allowed to buy my own parts just like the engine! I inquired about having the air conditioning repaired but declined which would bring the cost to $they knew I couldn't pay having rejected the offerWhen that didn't make much sense when the truck having air conditioning was part of the initial estimate and the compressor being taken off should have been part of that first estimate and no additional hours needed when the a/c has to be emptied and filled back again! If the truck seemingly ran the same due to old parts, then why was I told the parts Bob of AutoKraft purchased had to be eaten and taken at a loss, but to whom, when Bob of AutoKraft said he put the old parts back on the engine? The bolts Bob of AutoKraft say's was missing was reported to me by AAMCO after my bank requested a second opinion, and taken there directly from Bob of AutoKraft! So you see the lies continue, when it was either he or one of his students working on a new engine that can void the warrantee by Chevrolet where I purchased the engine that left the bolts outA list of discrepancies was provided to me, and a copy was given to parties involved such as Bob of AutoKraft, Revdex.com and the Bank of America! That list I provided Bob of AutoKraft is how he found out about a missing blot he or his staff didn't replace! Bob of AutoKraft didn't convince me of anything about returning my truck to him, and you the Revdex.com, and Bank of America have emails and letters to that regard! The truck was taken back to Bob of AutoKraft cause that's where the engine was installed and Good Chevrolet had a one week back up, and again, you have emails to the effectUpon giving Bob of AutoKraft a second chance as any reasonable man would have, but against my better judgement seemly believing that actions such as this would be taken serious and Bobof AutoKraft would take responsibility of this farce of an engine installment! Having been given a second chance and Bob of AutoKraft stating it's seemingly old parts that make the new engine run bad, then why didn't a "Master Mechanic" make it right with new parts he had to eat? Then why doesn't a "Master Mechanic" know better than seemingly?
Sincerely,

I was hired to put in Mr. [redacted]'s motor in his 29 year old truck (with 271,000 miles).  I put the engine in, it ran the way an engine would run with old parts.  I did replace some parts when installing the new engine, told Mr. [redacted], he said he could not afford any more.  So I did eat the cost of extra parts because we did not have approval but it was small parts that added up, gaskets etc.  That's fine, I try to help when I can.  I tried to get the truck running as best as possible with what he provided.  I am tired of his harrassments.  My 25+ years of A+ ratings speaks louder thatn his insults.

To Whom it may concern,This is in response to [redacted]'s complaint.  In his statement he claims we mischarged him, and illegally tried to "rip" him off.  I merely tried to get the parts that I paid for that did not come with the engine that he supplied, such as gaskets, filters, oil,...

etc.  He supplied the motor, I put on his old parts, the truck seemingly runs the same due to the used parts that were on the old engine.  When he through a fit about the over charge, I ate the cost of the parts that I put into it, and stuck with the original $1470.  The old engine had some missing bolts, so I did not install the bolts that were missing.  When he got the truck back, he complained about missing bolts.  So I finally convinced him to bring the truck back at my expense with the tow bill, put those bolts in and replaired the air conditioning at no charge to him as a good will jesture.  He continues to complain about how the truck runs, I double checked the specs and they are within the factory specs.  The truck runs smoothly, though its down in power I believe due to the old parts on the truck.  Example substandard catalytic converter, substandard muffler etc.  He complains about the transmission slipping, we did nothing to his transmission.  To further inconvience me he has withheld payment through the credit card company.  I'm getting harrassed daily (multiple times) a day, calls and threats to me and my team.  In closing we have bent over backwards trying to satisfy him, he is unreasonable, and unwilling to work with us to resolve this matter. As you can see from the CC correspondance that has been sent to us.Robert L[redacted]
