for customer satisfaction. That is why, although, Mr. [redacted] read, acknowledged, agreed and signed all as-is paperwork. Once Mr. [redacted] contacted us regarding his repair needs, we did not hesitate to direct him to a licensed repair facility and financially assisted Mr. [redacted] with his repair need.

When purchasing a 9 year old vehicle with over 188k miles on it, it is not going to be in like new condition. Unfortunately, like with any used vehicle, there will be maintenance items that will need to be done. Most of the items that Mr. [redacted] listed in his complaint are general maintenance items. Just because a vehicle may have maintenance items that need to be done, it does not mean that a vehicle is not fully operational. We are sorry to hear about the loose muffler. If we would have been made aware of that, we would have been able to have it addressed when it was at the repair facility. In the spirit of good business, we will be mailing Mr. [redacted] a $300 check to help with the repair cost of the loose muffler. Please have Mr. [redacted] call me, Angela C[redacted], Office Manager @503-771-5400 to verify his mailing address.

Subject: Autolane LLC Revdex.com Complaint # [redacted]Dear [redacted]:I apologize for not responding sooner. I was unaware of the Revdex.com complaint until this morning when I saw it in my inbox. Not sure what happened, it was not in my spam either.I do believe that this complaint has been resolved. We do sell...

used vehicle and unfortunately sometimes unknown issues arise after a purchase. We never want our customers to be unhappy with their purchase, therefore we try to promptly resolve any issues that may arise.Once we knew Mr. Otoole was having issues with his vehicle, we asked that the vehicle be towed to a certified mechanics shop that we use. The vehicle was diagnosed and fixed. Although sold as-is, in the spirit of good business practice, Autolane helped with the cost of the repair. Thank you,Angela C[redacted]Office Manager503-771-5400

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Sincerely, [redacted]
Thank you for your email to me regarding the difficulty in posting my reply along with my acceptance of Autolane's offer of $300. I'm not 100% happy with their offer as it doesn't come close to what had to go into the truck, but I don't intend to get into a battle with them as it won't solve anything. I wanted to include that in my settlement. If you can add the below message to my acceptance response on the website since that is public and can be seen by the business and the public, I would appreciate it if possible. Although Autolane is correct in that they gave me ample time to look at the truck and inspect it, I am not a professional who would have been able to detect anything that was proven wrong at the time of purchase. And, based off the information I was promised by their sales rep, I was promised the vehicle was fully serviced and they would never sell a vehicle that has not been serviced up-to-date. Come to find out, through a number of inspections after the fact, this was not so at all. I take full responsibility for my lack of knowledge on the truck before buying it. I trusted the company and had faith in the sales person's promises. The company is dishonest and from my overall experience, is only in it for the sale, not the customer service/satisfaction. This was proven to me when I re-contacted the sales manager Scott who made me feel unimportant, insignificant and of annoyance to him for calling after the fact with the issues I ended up having. Regarding the timing cover, they did offer to pay 50% which was appreciated, then the snowball of issues began unfolding. I accept I signed the contract as is, but it's not fair to use that in the case against me when at the time of signing because I would have had no idea everything that was going to be done was going to be needed done. My fault for taking their word. I'll accept the $300 they offered as compensation, but I'm far from saying I'm satisfied or happy with the settlement. Compensation was not even a consideration in my original correspondence with their sales manager. It took a complaint through the Revdex.com to have them take action and offer some sort of solace.  Through a lot of money and hardship on my family financially I've come to the point where I do enjoy my truck. It's regrettable we've had to experience all this to get there. My initial contact with their sales rep was good and I appreciated everything in the moment, until later when I found that the assurances on the vehicle were empty promises and weightless words in the reality of the overall product. I'm sure they were happy to get the vehicle off of their lot. I sure would not be able to sell it for anything close to what I paid and put into it to get it reliable. My business with Autolane is done and I will never return there.
