[redacted] was able to complete the job and found that my engine was not held up properly and caused my motor mounts to become weak. The [redacted] Invoice was also included in my paperwork to verify the amount that I paid. David refuses to pay me the money and I need it resolved. On April 17,2015, DTC AUTO REPAIR solidified a work order for a used transmission, flushing of the cooler and lines see enclosed work order # [redacted], dated 411712015. A deposit of $ 1,000.00 in the form a credit card payment for a total job cost of $ 1,650.00 The deposit and a phone call confirmation followed up with an in person signature confirming the job order in the amount stated above. On 412212015, the work order was completed. Final payinent of $650.00 was received in a credit card transaction. Mrs. [redacted] phoned and requested that DTC AUTO REPAIR reimburse her in the amount of $400.00. Subsequently there was a credit card adjustment/debit dated 5lI4l20l5 in the amount of $400.00. At that time, her request was'for the replacement of one engine mount. The claims with the bank is totally different from what was told to DTC AUTO REPAIR. Mrs. [redacted] disputed that the amount charged for the total job was incorrect. Stated it should have been $1,250 when in fact it was $1,650; paperwork which she signed is attached. On July 7,2015, DTC AUTO REPAIR was contacted again by the bank chargeback refunded [redacted] in the amount of $1,000.00 claiming all Gur of the engine m,cs were damaged. DTC AUTO REPAIR will not agree to refund any money insisting that DTC AUTO REPAIR had the right to inspect the vehicle and make any repairs, to the alleged damage. Furthermore Mrs. [redacted] stated that she had an estimate and or made reference that the repairs had been completed by a local [redacted] transmissions repair facility. On 7 17 12015, a $1,000.00 adjustment/debit, sequence/case#: [redacted] was executed. After submitting a dispute request with the Chargeback Department the $1,000.00 was returned to DTC AUTO REPAIR. Current status with DTC AUTO REPAIR and Mrs. [redacted] is one of two choices Arbitration or I can sue in small claims court. My case in small claims court would be very damaging for Mrs. [redacted] in light of the following facts. 1. No inspection of the vehicle and the alleged damage by DTC AUTO REPAIR 2. No report, pictures or collaborating information to support the alleged damage from an approved third party repair service or Bureau of automotive. 3. After determining and finding the [redacted] Transmissions service center that Mrs. [redacted] had gotten an inspection work order but not repairing any of the alleged damage on 510912015. 4. An associate of DTC AUTO REPAIR made a visit to the [redacted] location. Card Payment Solutions s{to August 18,2015 Page 3 5. It appears very suspicious that the inspection at [redacted] said only one engine mount and in a matter of weeks after Mrs. [redacted] $400.00 refund, she is now asking for $1,000.00 to replace or reimburse of other engine mounts. [redacted] Transmissions Total Car Care Experts 6441 Franklin Blvd Sacramento, CA 95823 Adam Granat: Manager 916 424 3618 www.[redacted].com franklin@cfe[redacted]. com During that visit conducted on8ll712017 several question were asked of the manager' Was a work order or work completed for a customer by the name of Mrs' [redacted]? After checking the data base the manager was able to confirm than an inspection only had been completed on 51912015. It was concluded the upper engine mount only had been severely worn from over use, due to the age of the.reh%le. No other damag€ or repairs where found or indicated at that time. 6. The big question is how Mrs. [redacted] decided to take the course of action that she took with DTC AUTO REPAIR based on the information from the [redacted] service center's inspection and what information that she provided me. 7. Mrs. [redacted]s actions can be considered fraud. She misrepresented the facts to her frnancial institution to manipulate the refund of money to her financial benefit. Therefore, she is eligible for criminal charges and a small claims court action for restitution with DTC AUTO REPAIR can and will be pursued if this situation is not rectified. I have enclosed copies of the original work order, copies of all paper work associated with [redacted] with DTC AUTO REPAIR. I trust your investigation will reveal my facts to be true.
