Automatic Climate, Inc has always provided a professional and courteous service. I feel very confident in their recommendations of service.

Automatic Climate did some work to my heating/cooling system a couple years ago and I am now writing this review having observed the changes over that time. For what I thought was a good price, they explained why my system was poorly functioning and proposed a couple solutions. They were very involved in helping me understand the problems and potential solutions. The work was completed quickly and professionally and I am happy with the result. I found this business through online reviews like this one, so I am leaving this here to help people in the future.

My experience with the Company found their technicians to be very skilled and conscientious. They exercised good care in and around my home while performing their job and took the time to explain their process to me before and after performing the tasks. If additional, unplanned work is necessary they take the time to explain the work, show any condition that related to or caused the unplanned work, and advise the cost before proceeding.

Review: Automatic Climate installed the a/c units in my new home in 2010. I experienced a leak in the coil of one of my indoor unit which necessitated replacement of either the coil or the entire unit. When the tech came out to diagnose he informed me that it was out of warranty which had expired a month before. I found out later that Automatic Climate failed to register the unit with the manufacturer which would have extended the warrantee two ten years instead of five. They failed to inform me that such an option existed. I also purchased another unit at the same residence which they did not mention registration what so ever. When I spoke to the owner Alan, he was extremely rude and not offering an equitable settlement to this issue. All he said was that his Company was not culpable in this situation. I had to pay another company to correct this situation. This other Company also informed me that they handle registrations on all objects they install. They also stated that it is a poor job for Automatic Climate to at least not inform a home owner that this even exists. I feel that Automatic Climate purposely did not mention any registrations of these units because of unfair business practices.Desired Settlement: I would like Automatic Climate to contact [redacted] who is the manufacturer, admit they made the mistake of not at least informing me that a simple registration would extend my warrantee and honor any repair that may come up including this current repair.

You are dissatisfied in the manufacturer's warrantees from [redacted] that came from the purchase of your new home with [redacted] It was the responsibility of the [redacted] to notify your of the need to register the equipment with [redacted] for the extended warrantees. It was impossible for Automatic Climate to register your equipment because we had zero access to your personal information. As far as the heat pump that was added later we did provide you with all of the information required to register the equipment. I am the owner and I'm sorry your found me rude, I will not tolerate threats to my business and coworkers. I was crystal clear in my offer to do anything in my power to help and was willing to sacrifice for you satisfaction until you began threatening us. At that point I found it necessary to discontinue any further interactions with you. That decision will stand.

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.This complaint is twofold. I cannot accept the responsibility for the warrantee issue on the units that were installed by your Company at the time the house was built. Reason being is that your company had a service agreement to check the performance of these units after I had taken possession of the premises. Why wouldn’t you make mention to this at that time. Also regardless of the first issue, I purchased a new hybrid heat pump directly from your Company Model [redacted] Serial [redacted] after the house was occupied. At that time none of your company’s representatives made any mention to extending a warrantee what so ever. It was only until I contracted with another company where I found out that a simple registration process could have achieved this. You also said that you would check into getting [redacted] to extend all warrantees which you were merely blowing smoke and you had no intentions on calling me back. As far as treats of any kind made by me to you or any of your employees, this is an attempt to wipe your hands of this issue because I have made no threats what so ever. If you interpret me letting my neighbors know of the service I have received from your Company or writing an unfavorable reviews of the service I’ve received. I believe your Company engages in unethical business practices where you specifically don’t mention these issues so that you can sell maintenance agreements. [redacted]

After receiving service from a number of different companies over the years, Automatic Climate provided the best service I have ever seen. Called on a Friday afternoon and received service the same day. I found that awesome being I was a new customer. The technician was polite and professional. I like the diagnostics information shared by the technician as well as the details listed within the invoice. We look forward working with Automatic Climate in the future.

This Company seems to value it's customers....Fair Prices, and Honest Service, is what I have experienced over the years with this company.
