It is responsible for the equipment, and the property owner is responsible for cleanliness of the rooms and the machines In response to the March service call placed by the complainant, Automatic Laundry dispatched a technician. He verified that the machines worked and did not find the appearance and cleanliness issues described. I have a couple of concerns regarding this response: I requested a transaction history to validate that the machines did not malfunction and one was not provided. I only requested a refund of $because I was informed that other instances were unable to be disputed because I had waited longer than hrs to call. I have yet to receive the $card they claim was mailedNor can they offer me any recourse for the up to $balance remaining on my apparently broken card. No one ever attempted to rebate me with a "code"This is the first I am hearing of it This is the worst customer service I've received in a long time, so bad I'm actually writing a complaint onlineThat said, while my complaint may be gratuitous - a quick google search tells me that I'm not the only one with issues with ***'s methodsyou are rejecting the business's response please enter your rejection comments here.]

Automatic Laundry received *** ***'s online service request on January 3rdHer complaint was that the laundry machines were double deducting value from her card We dispatched a technician to see if the machines were malfunctioning and no problem was found We initially offered Ms *** a $refund and per our company policy can't provide a refund for malfunctions that she did not previously report We believe the $code refund did not work as her card may be corrupt As such, we mailed her a new laundry card with a $on January 13, That letter is attached to this response While we apologize for any inconvenience Ms *** has experienced, our Human Resources Administrator has reached out to Ms *** via telephone on three separate occassions with no response or action on Ms ***'s part to reach an amenable solution We would ask that Ms *** not only verify the address in the attached letter as her mailing address, but encourage her to mail in her laundry card to our offices and put it to *** ***'s attention so that we may see if the card itself is malfunctioning and place any remaining value onto a new card for Ms ***.Ms *** is more than welcome to contact us directly at *** *** *** to reach an amenable solutionIf not, we cannot provide of any further assistance. I handled her call. We sent service
technicians to the location times; each time we verified that in fact the
machines operated properly, the hot water responded to the hot water request
and the cold water responded to the cold water request. Since the machines functioned properly, we
could not provide any compensation for her clothing claim. Furthermore, if the water was not at an
appropriate temperature, the owner, not Automatic Laundry is responsible for

I was informed that they would only refund me with another laundry card, and that they would not refund my out of pocket costsI was also informed that they'd look into another solution for me, and then they ceased all contact in regards to the issueAfter the complaint was filed, I simply received a laundry card in the mail for the $20, so they very much did NOT refund for out of pocket expenseI am further disheartened by the fact that they lied about both initial contact and how they have chosen to refundI am still dissatisfied, and wish to pursue the issue further

The payment system for the laundry equipment is operated by card, to which a resident may add value by cash or credit The complainant, Ms***, called to complain that her laundry card was doubled charged for a transaction Automatic Laundry dispatched a technician to see if he could replicate the problem but none was found Ms*** requested a refund of $when she contacted our company via telephone Automatic Laundry initially tried to provide her a code-based refund, which she claimed did not workAs such, the Automatic Laundry Card Administrator sent her a new laundry card with a $value on it As you can see in the attached documentMs*** received more than she requestedThe rest of the gratuitous comments in her note are simply false

To Whom It May Concern: Ms*** called to register her
complaint about a faulty card with our service department. From the
beginning of our conversations with Ms***, we explained the process pursuant
to which she would receive a refund. Unfortunately, the problem with
the
laundry card required her to send it in for a refund. We could not issue
another code as the chip in the card failed. The only way to rectify this
was for Ms*** to send the card in for a refund. We told her that we
would compensate her for out of pocket loss. For some reason, Ms***
elected to complain rather than accept payment. We appreciate the
frustration but other than providing her 100% of what she lost, we do not know
what else could be done.We have provided a complete refund to Ms*** Best Regards, Automatic Laundry Service, Inc

is responsible for the utilities The payment system for the laundry equipment is by card to which a user can add value by cash or credit cardThe complainant, Ms***, called to complain that her laundry card did not receive the $that she loaded on to her card at the Add Value terminal We researched the situation and verified that the value was not loadedWe offered to give her the $value on her cardHowever, she moved from the premises and requested that we provide a cash refundAutomatic Laundry's policy is to provide only code refunds as opposed to cash refunds as a code refund is laundry income that we owe the owners of the property The laundry card itself states clearly "treat as cashNo refunds for user cardsNot responsible for lost or stolen cards." Residents leave properties in which Automatic Laundyr has laundry equipment on a regular basis We simply cannot pay cash refunds to these former residents as it will be unwieldy and unfair to our customers Thank you and best regards,Automatic Laundry Service Co., Inc

If Mr.[redacted] was being honest he would have responded to my concern as to where the clothing the company took is. If the problem did not concern the company why did they have someone collect the damaged clothing? And how can I get the clothing back? This complaint is one of many, there is a zero satisfaction known for the customer service and this is just further conformation. I am still requesting the damaged clothing.

Automatic Laundry contacted the customer directly in order to reach a resolution. Automatic Laundry laundered the down comforter properly and returned to the Resident who was pleased with the result. Upon returning the item we included care instructions for future laundering.
