We informed client we would abdominal ultrasound and abdominal x-rays but client declined due to cost but since we could not due those test we really couldn't find out what was goingSo client decided to take patient back to [redacted] Animal Hospital

Perrin-Animal Hospital informed Mr [redacted] of the risk and the outcomes of the procedure DVM informed Mr [redacted] iscussed splenic masses with mrTold him most are malignant(lymphoma vs HSA)Told him HSA is more aggressive, but both have poor px/life span: days-to-weeks w/HSA, 2-mos w/LymphomaSplenectomy will enable tissue to be bx and eliminate abdominal hemorrhageGave estimate, recommend sx/bx,mr ok'd Told him that boxers, boston t"s and golden retrievers have the highest incidence of cancer and when dealing with splenic tumors in these breeds, it's considered cancer until proven otherwise.Mr [redacted] elected to move forward with surgery and his pet was discharged a few days laterHe was told to come follow up with in days to repeat labs
