Automax regrets customer dissatisfaction with extended service contract cancellation. I have contacted customer and explained he was credited and will receive 100% refund of purchase price. Check from Automax was sent to lender on deal, Wells Fargo on August 10th, 2016.

Went to their Hyundai Automax Del City, had told to use NADA appraiser, the Forte was below book bu been on lot a bit, got their person called me said they see me VIP was not there some guy never met, car had one key no remote and it was a hour drive as a disabled senior Copy pasted quote from Automax site-Below
04-27-Expires 05-11-Amount : $6,- $7,Tried to tell me car was a trade when it was a repo, sort of guess why it had only one key no remote on a car No cruise as told, then they low balled trade after got there below NADA or Kelly Blue book at on car with less then miles, new tires alpine speakers, service records etc I was *** to say the least It by far out of dealers I dealt with over the years since around the worst Then while their tried to call the person who and only one I talked to besides Mike Mg,, call could not be done blocked or whatever It is too bad they let car dealers due as they please and have no laws on advertising etcas their site is where I got trade numbers plus had checked KBB etc It is more like they used trade as thought it had 89000-miles vs only 36K NADA usually gives extra for low mileage Never wrecked, no issues, it was a terrible wasted of hours driving

This amount was estimated and communicated to be $1,000.00 However since Automax was unable to gain approval for both over-allowance AND TT&L, as a act of Goodwill and customer satisfaction, Automax will offer customer $500. This offer is no admission of wrong doing but in effort to assist customer financially.

Automax has researched and contacted service contract company for validation of customer claim. Claim was denied based on customer failure to maintain proper maintenance of vehicle. Excerpt from Service contract company reply and ruling...

The contract holder has an obligation to monitor and maintain proper lubrication levels. According to the manufacturer, the oil should be checked at each fuel stop. Breakdowns resulting from the customer's failure to maintain proper levels of lubrication are excluded from coverage. The claim was denied accordingly.

As in the response above this is the run around I continually get . I have spoken with Ms. [redacted] on two occasions now.  Her vehicle has now been properly diagnosed and being repaired.  All charges will be covered by extended service contract, less deductible.  Explained to Ms. [redacted] unfortunate vehicle was not properly diagnosed earlier but...

Automax had to send over to Ford dealership for proper diagnostic.  As with many manufacturers, some repair codes are proprietary and can only be found with Ford Dealer equipment.  Ignition coil was found to be faulty.  Automax regrets customer dissatisfaction but believe we have redeemed ourselves and hope to enjoy positive relationship with Ms. [redacted] going forward.  She has my direct contact number should issues arise in the future.Automax considers this case resolved and should additional information be required, my contact information is supplied.

I bought a truck from this dealership and they made a couple huge mistakes, that they apologized for, but would not correct. One they agreed to take care of my monthly payment on my trade in and they didn't do it. They cut the check to send to my previous bank and it never got sent due to the check getting lost. They confessed to the mistake and apologized but now I have a missed payment on my credit report. Second, it took a month and a half to square things away with the new financemail bank and I am still waiting on my TTL check which won't come until over two months after I bought the truck. They also will not issue a new tag, even though they confessed to the mistake, so now I am driving around with expired tags. They also did not tell me they changed the sale date of the truck, covering there own [redacted] so they don't have to pay for the penalty for expired tags, which they should have issued me a new tag on the new date. I spoke with the General Manager Dustin, and I got the sense that once you sign those papers you are on your own. All they care about is first impressions and money. No room for customer service. I will say though that the sales guy sterling and the finance lady Lauren are good people and showed me good customer service and the time of the sale. But every time I spoke with a supervisor, they were very dismissive and lacked customer service. I will not recommend anyone to this dealership.
