I purchased a 2006 Ford Taurus from AutoMax in September of this year and was told by salesman [redacted] that not to worry if there are any issues with the vehicle during the first day or so as the vehicle could be brought back to be fixed. Well the very next day the engine light came on, the front breaks started making a very loud squealing noise and there was a loud chirping noise coming from under the hood. I immediately took the vehicle for a free inspection at a local mechanics shop and was told the vehicle needed a front break job, a new engine belt tension pulley, and a 02 sensor as that was the code for the check engine light. I immediately called [redacted] and he set a time and day for me to come into the service shop to get the repairs. Well as soon as I arrived the main boss had no clue I was coming in and gave me a run around while I waited for 3 hours until they took my car back, I was then given the vehicle back after it being in the dealerships possession for 1 hour which seemed liked to short of a time for the repairs to be completed, but was assured the vehicle was repaired. I then left the dealership and not even 2 blocks later the breaks were squeaking and there was loud chirping coming from under the hood. The engine light was off at this time, but did come back on 3 days later. I once again took the vehicle to a local mechanic, but a different one than the first time. I was given the same 3 areas that needed a repair being the front breaks, the engine tension-er pulley, and the same 02 sensor. I was also told by the mechanic the engine light was off for a few days likely to the dealership resetting the code. I once again called the dealership and after given a hard time I was given a new day and time to bring the vehicle in for repairs. Once arriving to have the repairs done the man boss once again had no knowledge of my appointment and it took 9 hours before they even took my car to get the repairs done and let me remind you I had a set appointment. Then after about 3 hours I was told the vehicle was fixed, but as soon as I felt the breaks were squeaking, the chirping noise was back, and 3 days later the engine light was on as its still pulling the same code for the 02 sensor. I have been trying for over a month to get compliance from the dealership to get these repairs done, but they now longer return my calls. They only call when I have a payment due and when I bring up the repairs I am told the person calling only works in finance and I need to contact sales on that matter, but like I said they never answer.
