My daughter, my wife and I visited the dealership because we were interested in purchasing a 2016 Porsche Cayenne. We submitted a credit application with the help of Zack and Michael. They run our credit scores and Michael, the Sales Manager told us that because our credit was not great and because our trade-in had a lot of negative equity, they would have to let Brandon submit the loan request to the banks. We were told that unfortunately Brandon is out of the office but should be back Monday and I should expect a call from them with an offer from the bank. I did not get a call back on Monday as they promised but on Tuesday Casandra, one of their Internet Sales Rep called me and asked me if I'm planning to visit the dealership again. I told her that I was waiting on call from Zack or Michael but didn't hear back. She told me that she will look into it and call me back. A few hours later she called me and said that in order for them to process my request I will have to fill in a credit application. I told her that my wife and I already filled one at the dealership and my credit report shows a hard hit on April 5th. she told me that they do not keep credit apps on file and that I need to fill another one online. I was very surprised by this. I asked her to confirm that my credit report wouldn't take another hard hit if I'm to fill another one online and she said no it will NOT. I submitted another credit app and was told to wait until the next day for a response from the bank. In the meantime, I checked my credit report and there was for sure another hard hit recorded April 8th which negatively impacted my credit score. I didn't hear back from her as she promised so I called her to follow up and she told me that the bank is asking for $14k down due to negative equity on one of my trade-ins. I told her that I'm no longer interested and need tl discuss with a manager because you said my credit report would not take another hard hit and it did. She transferred me to the finance manager and explained to him the situation and was told that he would have to escalate to the general manager and get back to me Saturday. Did not hear back from him neither. Called Monday and asked to speak with the general manager. Explained to him the situation and asked that one of the hard hits to be taken out of my credit report. He said he doesn't know how this happened and that is not how they conduct business. He said that he will work with corporate to see if they can remove the second hart hit from my report. He told me he is off Tuesday but should be back Wednesday and that I should expect a call by then and he gave me his direct number. Didn't receive a call at all. Called twice Thursday with no response. Very disappointed with the service and lack of follow through. I don't think they took us seriously neither and falsely claimed that the second credit application would not show on my credit report. Now I'm stuck with this on my credit report for the next couple of years and will definitely affect any future purchases.

I am rejecting this response because: because they falsely made me fill a credit application twice. I filled one at the dealership on 4/5 and called me again on 4/8 and told me that they do no longer have my credit application and I need to submit another credit application online. I asked the person who called me to confirm that my credit report wouldn't show two hard inquiries and she falsely claimed that only one would show up.see attached a screenshot of my credit report showing both hard inquiries from 4/5 and 4/8. This has negatively impcated my score.

On 2/22/20 My wife and I traded in a car to purchase a newer one at this dealership. They obtained the payoff amount and were responsible to take care of the final payoff. Our next payment on the trade in vehicle was due on 3/2/20, so we were under the impression they would have enough time to take care of paying the vehicle off in time. My wife continued to check with the bank (web account) on an ongoing basis to see if the car had been paid off. The payment was considered late after the 3rd and we called the dealership on 3/12/20 thinking by then it would have been really taken care of. I spoke to the finance department to see what the issue was with the payoff and informed them that the payment continued to be late and could effect our credit. They assurred us this was normal and it would be taken care of. The car eventually was paid off but not until 3/18/20, which left a $20.01 Balance on the account, which I did not find out until I checked with the bank again on the week of the 28th. I then contacted the finance department again and let them know of the issue and they stated that that we would need to pay the balance, that it was our issue.

I purchased a car from Volkswagen of Streetsboro with the promise that they would deliver my title to me within a certain time frame. Not only did they fail to meet the time frame, but I also found out my title is in lien. Now I won't be able to get to work.

I purchased an extended warranty on a 2011 VW Van, I was having Issues with the transmission and the car not wanting to drive. I called the Warranty place and they told me to take it no Volkswagen (as they would be better to fix the issues) The Volkswagen closest to me (Akron Ohio) did not have the diagnoses equipment needed and asked if I would take it to the Streetsboro location (I had to have it towed there) they told me they would check it in the middle of the follow week. I called them TWO WEEKS later (8/6/18) to see what was going on they told me nothing was wrong with it and I could come get it (Service Closes at 7pm) My daughter drove me up there to pick it up (6:30pm) We go to drive home and it does the same thing as when I took it to them! My daughter called (6:38pm) to tell them she was told Service department was closed! We pretty much pushed the car back to Volkswagen and one of the ladies in the Service department was laughing at me! I told them I would need to know what was wrong as I would need my Van back for our trip to Texas. They told me they would not be able to look at the van until they had no cars to service, and did not believe that the car had anything wrong.

The customer dropped off the car late afternoon on 7/25/18. The customer was very aware that the vehicle would not get looked at until 8/6/18. Customer was contacted 8-6-18 and informed that after multiple test drives we could not duplicate customers concern, and that there were no codes stored in computer indicating any problems. We waived the diagnostic charge since no problem was found.
The customer took back the car from dealer, and returned the same evening with same concern. We put the customer in a loaner car at no charge and told her we would test drive the vehicle again. VW of Streetsboro was not able to duplicate drivability concern, but was advised by VW tech line to check wiring harness to the TCM. Wires were found good. Followed additional diagnostic steps provided by VW and eventually came to the conclusion to drop transmission pan and tech found metal in pan, as well as contaminated fluid. Advised customer of this information, and called the customers extended service contract company, advising of transmission replacement. The extended service contract company needed time to approve/decline and to compare repair costs to value of car. They called back within a day and approved repairs, we contacted customer with the final decision of coverage and customer will owe for the deductible for the extended service contract company. Customer approved the work to be completed.
VW of Streetsboro has allowed customer to remain on our loaner vehicle at no charge, ordered necessary parts for repair. Will contact customer when job is completed.

Thank you
