*** has came in since submitting this complaint and we repaired his instrument cluster in house and he is now happy. Originally the third party that we attempted to use couldn't make the repairs and kept his instrument cluster for weeks and that is what delayed the
process. He is happy and issue is resolved.Brian B***AutoMetrics

All work performed on *** ***’s car was at ***’s request and authorization. He paid his original bill for diagnostics and inspection and at that time was advised that the car was not worth fixing and to have it towed out. He then called back and requested to have it fixed
per the estimate that he was given despite this advice. He was informed once the repairs were complete and has still yet to pay for these repairsHe has been requested on several occasions to pay for and pick up his vehicle, but has failed to do soHe was notified that he would accrue storage fees by not picking up his vehicle, so now he has taken this actionIf he pays his bill, he can pick up his vehicle

Review: We took our 1996 Land Rover in for ABS break repair as per recommendation by [redacted]. We requested that Autometrics give us an estimate for ABS repair as well as rear electric window repair and ignition replacement. Autometrics indicated that they were the only Land Rover repair shop in Yakima with all of the special equipment to provide the best service for our needs. They contacted us with a lie of repairs and indicated that to repair the ABS breaks we would need to replace the ABS pump. Also they said the housing on the back brake light needed to be replaced. We decided to wait in the rear windows and the ignition and have the ABS and break light repaired. They charged us over $300 at this point to diagnose the issues. When we picked up the vehicle my husband took it for a test drive with the mechanic and the breaks were still not working correctly. The mechanic confessed that the break line hadn't been bled out and they "ran out of time". They were going to send it home incomplete. The center electronic console for the windows was busted out and they said "oops" and refused to repair it. We left the car and they said it would be ready later. We picked it up and after driving for a little while it started having break symptoms again. We called them and they said maybe it's a speed sensor and that will cost $400. We had just paid them $1000 plus the diagnosing for the ABS pump. At this point we were very unhappy. Then we received a call over the weekend and were told that the guy handling our account was fired for up charging and they would fix our sensor for cost of parts but no refund in previous work. We took the car in and they replaced the sensor and it still didn't work and they said maybe it's the computer. We have paid them over $1300 to provide expert diagnoses and repair and they have been guessing about what was wrong, racking up charges, breaking components, s being home incomplete repairs and refusing to refund any part of our costs.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for all the ABS diagnoses and repair. I am willing to pay for the tail light diagnoses and repair. I am contacting the finance company that is contracted with them to submit my complaint and request as well.
