Review: I purchased a used 2000 Lexus. I drove it home from the car lot and parked it in the garage. The next morning I went to start the car and it wouldn't start. I thought maybe I left a light on or something so I hooked it up to a charger. The next morning it started. I took my 81 year old mother out for a ride. We stopped to get a pizza. I get back in the car and it wouldn't start. It's 80 degrees outside and my mother is hot and handicap and couldn't get out of the car to cool down. I called AAA and they said it would be 60 minutes before they could come help me. I then called the salesman who sold me the car and told him I needed a jump, that the battery was dead and my mother was sitting in the heat. He came in about 30 minutes and jumped the car. He said to take the car in that day and he would change the battery. I told him I could not because my mother needed to get home, she was red and hot. Once home, my mother got worse and I couldn't leave her. I had to call the paramedics. They took her to the hospital suffering from heat stroke. She subsequently died 2 days later. I was unable to do anything with the car due to the passing of my mother. The check engine light was now on. I had to charge the battery if I needed to move the car. I called the dealer and told them what happened. I was upset because they didn't check the battery before they put it on the lot. The general manager got mad at me and hung up the phone. My daughter used the car and the car lost all power. My daughter was stuck in the middle of traffic. The car could not be pushed. A police officer stopped to direct traffic away from her. When the tow truck got there I told them to take the car back to the lot. I told A.E. I did not feel safe in that car and did not want it. I was told by A.E. that I had to take it and if I didn't it would be a voluntary repo and they would sue me. I contacted the Attorney Generals office and was advised to write a letter revoking my contract and demand a full refund. No communication for 2 days.Desired Settlement: I want my deposit back in full. I have done everything the Attorney Generals office advised me to do. They have their car-I want my money back.

Review: Dealer and I agreed to install stock wheels on a vehicle (VIN#: WA[redacted]9). The agreement was noted in the purchase agreement signed by both parties on 9/15/13. On 9/16/13 the dealer installed non-stock wheels which had bald tires. Refusing to accept the vehicle, dealer the next day placed stock rims however the tire size were not stock as indicated on the vehicle manufacture sticker located on the vehicle and the tires were bald. On 9/22/13 I picked up the vehicle with the agreement that tires would be replaced. On 9/23/13 dealer directed me to A&V tire shop located at 1610 Oxnard Blvd., Oxnard CA. Tires were balanced but not replaced. On 9/25/13 dealer directed me to Big Brand Tire Co located on 1313 So. Oxnard Blvd, Oxnard CA 93030. I spoke with Josh who confirmed tires were less than 4/32 inch tire tread. Under DMV V.C. 2[redacted]5 No dealer shall install or sell a vehicle with tires less than 4/32 inch tire depth. Dealer did not replace tires. Dealer directed me to MTW Tires on 1[redacted] Oxnard Blvd, Oxnard CA. 93030. I spoke with Raul who also confirmed tires were less than 4/32 inch tire depth. Dealer again did not replace tires.Desired Settlement: On 9/25/13, I purchased tires at my own expense from America's tires located at [redacted] Drive Camarillo CA. I request reimbursement of stock tires in the amount of $810.00.
