first saw this car from ***, one of my other costumers, this car belonged to one of his friends *** ***, I never this woman till they came to pick up the car. I only talked to *** and *** when the car came in to the shopthey wanted me to check out why it wouldn't
start and runwhen I started to diagnose it I couldn't get under the hood to get to anything, The hood cable was brokenAfter a bit of finagling I got the hood to open and proceeded with the diagnoses, I noticed the battery cables were highly corroded and the cable ends needed to be replacedI called *** *** since I didn't have *** ***s phone number, when *** brought *** over with the car I was instructed to call *** with the diagnosesI called *** and suggested cleaning the cables and replacing the cable ends and replacing the hood cable so we can get in under the hood, I told him I would do this and check and top off fluids and check belts hoses and anything obvious, I also told him I would put my snap on scanner on it to see if there were any codes, He said he would get his own battery, since he thought it might be under warranty, I said fine bring me a battery and I will clean the cables replace the ends and battery install the hood cable, run the scanner on it for codesat no time did even ever talk to this woman. The price of to do this work was agreed upon. at no time was a print out asked for or promised, If a print out would have been asked for when the car came in I would have told them I did not have the print out capability for my scannerAny way I did run the scanner on it and no codes were found I drove the car after the cable cleaning and ends and new battery were installed, and the new hood cableI drove the car and it seemed to drive OK, didn't stall on me I told them to drive it with the new battery and if there was any other problems give me a callafter a day *** called me and said it would die on him I said bring it back up so I could look at it, He said OK, A few hours later his mom called me ranting and raving about how I cheated her. So *** *** never brought the car back. you can confirm this with *** his number is ###-###-####, At no time did I ever tell her to get out of my shop that is nonsense, I saw her once when she came with *** to pick up the car, they were here all of about minutes
