About weeks later Mr *** called again and stated that he had a different problem with the truck. the steering shaft broke and it was not a covered component under the warrantyAfter a long phone conversation, I agreed to pay half of the repairs ($300), stating that this is the last time I'm paying for any repairsI sent Mr *** a check for $stating " final Payment, Customer satisfaction" in the memo part of the checkMr *** used a permanent ***er to cover the memo part on the check
Mr *** contacted us again in Aug of 2014, almost a year later, regarding problem with his truck, I suggested a mechanic shop that is signed up with warranty company that Mr *** purchasedMr *** chose to do things his way

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Mr*** is your typical sleezy car salesman. If you notice his first response stated he was working directly with me to resolve the matter yet this response shows that was and is a direct LIE. Let me clarify his respose. He did in fact offer me a extended warranty that he made me PAY FOR after the second day I contacted him after buying the truck to let me know that the engine was bad. He was not inclined and not interested in taking the truck back but surprisingly enough admitted he knew the truck had issues but stated to me he figured it needed a tune up. He went on to tell me that this was a typical issue with the model year truck and that it usually has needed a new engine. He encouraged me to BUY this $warranty and that I had to write him a second check to cover that cost. He stated to me and showed me all the things that would be covered which included the engine. HE STATED TO ME AT THE TIME THAT THE WARRANTY WOULD PAY UP TO AND INLCUDING THE COST NOT TO EXCEED WHAT I PAID FOR THE VEHICLETherefore is it needed a new engine it should be covered. HE said it was the "BEST" warranty you could get and I shouldn't be concernedHe also warened me NOT to turn in the claim to the warranty company right away that I should instead drive it and put miles on it first. He said if I turned in the claim that early they would be suspicious and could denie the claim altogetehr. He said if its drive-able then put miles on it drive it until the engine dies completely then take it to be worked onAgain he stated the truck was covered up the the price I paid on it so even a new engine would be 5-so I was well with in the that amount to be covered
He represented it to me as a GREAT DEAL and even told me it was a local
trade of a one owner truck all of which was a lie in fact he bought it
at auctionThe coverage he represented has turned out to be untrue as the truck has had one issue after another from the Steering, Brakes Catalyc Converter, and the entire engine. The warranty company has turned down EVERY REPAIR and only agreed to fix the engine up to $2500. I have tried unsuccessfully over the last year to get him to respond and resolve these matters to no avail. Again he REFUSED after just two days to take the truck back KNOWING he sold it to me with these issues. Mr*** is full of lies to cover his steps for selling me a faulty vehicle. I TRUSTED HIM, I paid him over $plus my trade and he took advantage of that and has washed his hands of the matter because he can. He is not concerned at all with the fact that this truck has now cost me over $14,and counting and cant be driven still. He is just glad he dodged the bullet and is placing the loss on me because HE CAN
BUYER BEWARE is definatley something that applies to Mr*** as he has no ethics and no concern for the customer at all. He does not care that customers trust him with their investment he is just eager to take the money and stick them in a car that he KNOWS is not viable then even cons me out of a additional $on a warranty that is worthless. The final straw was finding out the warranty was NOT as he represented and in fact only pays up to $in repairs. I tape recorded Mr*** telling me in August the same story as he told me when he sold me the warranty that it would cover up to the price paid for the truck then while he was on the phone he pretends to look over some papers and then comes back and acts like he is surprised to read that I was right and it only covered the $that the warranty company stated. From the beginning Mr*** has been unethicle and full of lies and calculated mis-truths to con me into spending my hard earned money on a truck he knew to be a lemon. BUYER BEWARE of Mr*** and Automotive Connection. As when faced with the opportunity to rectify this in the begining he refused and has refused every option since to make things right. I turned to the Revdex.com to see if it would help him right his wrong but it obviously will not so I will need to take more steps to further educate the public about him as well as seek other alternative routes to bring about pressure for him to do what is right for the customerVery sad that people operate their businesses this way. I encourage you to warn the public of his behavior and if there is any other action we can take I would like to know what that is and utilize it
Regards,
