Hi ***,I apologize for not responding sooner, but I was on vacation However, please note that this matter has NOT been resolved In fact, we are far from reaching a resolution There are several points I need to clarify for the record First, under no circumstances were the areas where MrM [redacted] negligently applied the film, coated by me or anyone else with any ceramic coating Second, assuming arguendo that the areas were coated, that alleged coating has nothing to do with the lack of quality in the cuts made to the film, the slashing of my weather stripping, the scratches therein and the general lack of quality in the work performed by MrM*** MrM***’s attempt to argue that I coated the areas where he applied the film is categorically false He is misconstruing my general inquiry about ceramic coatings as me having actually applied ceramic coating to the areas I contracted him to apply the [redacted] Film Furthermore, MrM [redacted] NEVER once expressed any reservations about his ability to apply the film after I made my general inquiry Third, MrM [redacted] was afford THREE separate opportunities to correct his mistakes and complete the job When I initially dropped off my vehicle it took him over two weeks to install the film When he called me to inform me that my car was ready, I arrived at his shop only to find him still installing the film Because he was rushing to complete the job, I subsequently had to bring my vehicle back two more times for him to correct his mistakes Each time, MrM [redacted] was scrambling to finish the work In total, MrM [redacted] was given over SEVEN WEEKS for this job Despite that lengthy amount of time, he failed to perform the job with workmanlike skill and care, and as a result I incurred damages Lastly, I have MrM [redacted] on record admitting to causing the damages to my vehicle and not installing [redacted] film to my doors as originally contracted to do Instead, MrM [redacted] installed a film on my doors from some undisclosed vendor He did so without my express written authorization or consent MrM [redacted] further admitted after the fact that he lacked the ability to properly install [redacted] film to my doors, hence why he went with a different company The service for which MrM [redacted] was hired to perform was for the installation of [redacted] FILM ONLY The fact that he failed to do so is further evidence of his breach of contract.Despite my reasonable efforts to resolve this matter without court intervention, MrM [redacted] refuses to refund my money and pay for the damages to my vehicle Furthermore, I have requested on two separate occasions that he provide me with his professional liability insurance so that I may file a claim against his policy MrM [redacted] by way of his attorney informed me that he will not provide me with his insurance information After reviewing this email, if you require any documentation please contact meThank you and have a great dayVR [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:The weather stripping trim was sent to me but that does not cover installation, nor does that resolve the razor blade scratches, the damaged mirrors, or the horrible installation of the filmAlso, the film he used was not the film I paid for.
