Review: I traded my car on 4/1/2014 to automotive finance with the salesman [redacted] on 4/5/2014 I went in to have my GPS installed on my vehicle. My traded Maxima was being detailed. I told [redacted] oh crap I forgot my plates ill take them off now..he stated don't worry about it ill take them off for you. So me being a trusting person to a sy automotive place said ok. thanks. When I got the letter from Missoula parking on 4/24/2014 that the nissan [redacted]ima that I traded got a parking ticket, I called [redacted] several times, texted him several times and no answer. So I called automotive finance and got the office manager. She stated she would get back to me tomorrow which would be a Saturday. I got no return call every time I called automotive finance I was told that [redacted] was busy. So I called [redacted] and asked who the owner or manager was, was informed it was [redacted]. Later that day I got a call from [redacted] who informed me that the plates were taken off and disposed of...that was a lie as Missoula parking sent me a picture of my traded Nissan Maxima with my old plates on them.Being pissed off as I was I went down and no one would talk to me no apology of what happened and blame was placed on other people.I'm asking that my $1000.00 deposit be returned to me as they broke contract verbally as usual. This was a dirty move to do to a customer. So by returning my deposit I believe it means that we are even and the only contract I have now is with the finance company never again to have to deal with Automotive Finance, [redacted], [redacted] or any other low down lying stealing auto places that are associated with [redacted], [redacted] or [redacted] for that matter.Desired Settlement: $1000.00 deposit. I'm sure they have made more money since my day of going in there and being played like a stupid girl.

I was the last person to talk to the customer. I wanted to take care of the parking violation for her and she refused to let me see the citation. AT this point, I am not sure the plates were in the vehicle. The license plates along with any other personal belongings are the customers responsibility to remove from the vehicle at trade in. We print out a new Temporary Registration with any new sale. By the time she made it in to speak with me, she refused my attempt to remedy the situation. I wanted to see the citation and offer her the payment for that citation, but she refused. The down payment of 1,000 has nothing to do with this complaint because she received the service, it was a requirement to receive a sub-prime contract, and is currently under contract with the financial Institution. Mistakes do happen, when they do we do everything possible for a good relationship with our customer base. If we did make a mistake, she did not let me try and resolve it. The down payment will not be refunded.
