Very UNHAPPY!!!! Would not recommend Grismer Took my car in to Grismer's in Troy for its free oil change & tire rotation After they tell me that I only get free oil changes, not as originally indicated when I had the tires installed, because my car takes synthetic oil, they then ask when the last time was that I had my transmission & brake fluid changed because mine looks like this (all dirty) and should look like this (all clean) and hold up some cylinder In addition, the brakes are supposedly worn They can, of course, flush all the fluids and give me a special deal for only $ I tell them I need to check with my husband, leave Grismer, and call the local GM dealer to schedule a time to have my vehicle inspected The dealer checks all the fluids, inspects the car, and says everything is good Will be going back to the dealer from now on as I DO NOT TRUST Grismer Very disappointing

I have heard both good and bad things about Grismers in Springfield, but decided to get tires there I have to admit, there were a lot of people already sitting and waiting...some with frowns on there faces Hesitantly, I signed in, sat down and waited I then seen not two minutes later a skinny bald man pulling my car in Within one hour, he had my new tires on, oil changed, and my car aligned I've read the negative reviews but that skinny guy sure made my visit very acceptable

I purchased tires from Grismer Tire and they damaged my car! They damaged my right rear hub bearing when installing new tiresThe rear hub bearing looks like they hit it with a hammer! They said it was new tire noiseThe salesman was also rude when I asked him to ride in the car to hear the noise I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH GRISMER TIRE EVER AGAIN!!

If you value your sanity, PLEASE DO NOT GO HEREIf you want to lose hope in all humanity, then by all means, take your car to this dishonest sorry excuse for a service shopThey not only charge an arm and a leg, but request that you pay them your firstborn son (pretty sure Rumpelstiltskin trains the employees)They should be called Greedy Grismer or Greasy GrismerHere's the experience that I've had with Grismer, and continue to have to this day (even though it's been two years since I went to them in the first place)I had just bought a used Lexus GSin the summer of when not long into having it, my tires kept going flat- apparently two of them had nails in them but they were probably due to be replaced anywaysSince it is a Lexus it has a Tire Pressure Monitoring System, which Grismer recommended I replace all four since they were "corroded", I trusted them and went ahead with getting them replacedThis store did not have four on site, so they wound up just replacing threeWhen we went up to pay, they had itemized four TPMS on the bill and were ready to charge us in full when my Mom pointed the error outThe man apologized and changed it to The bill still came up to a pretty big price for tires and TPMSFast forward less than a year later (2015) and my car is driving really rough and bumpy and my tires have all sorts of weird weathering on themI take it to Sears, where they inform me that the only thing wrong with my car is that one tire is bigger than the other three.....WHAT?????? Grismer had placed one tire bigger than the otherHow negligent can a service shop be? So we took it back up to Grismer, told them their mistake, only to be told by the manager that there is no way that one tire bigger than the others could cause the tires to be weathered so badly.....but he said he'd replace the one tire with the correct sized tireI was completely irate and called up the Sears auto shop to inform the manager how the car definitely could have gotten so badly weathered by one tire being bigger than the rest, especially on an all wheel drive carThe Grismer manager conceded and finally agreed to replace all tires at no costI was thankful they did agree and wasn't going to write a poor review, but now I've been having issues with the tire stem valves that they replaced with TPMSTurns out, they were the wrong size for my car and they should have put in Lexus grade TPMSSince they decided they would rather get more money out of me than provide honest services to a customer, I've had to replace all tire stem valves now, because of the shoddy job Grismer didAnd that's the story of when all my auto shop trust issues began

I went here with my year old daughterI needed an oil change and tire rotationThey said I needed $of work and I declined These were issues I had already appointments set up forThey guy shakes my front wheel to drive home how bad my tire isI drive home and my car is shaking out of control, not driving at all the same way before I came to this placeI get home and my uncle, a former mechanic for the air force and Honda has to tighten the lug nuts on my wheel! How did I leave a tire place with my bolts or whatever they are called not tight! They take off and put on tires all day long! I have to think this was deliberate, which means they tried to kill my daughter and I! I am retorting this to whoever I can!

Purchased tire from Grismer at a good price, but they "found" three other things wrong with the vehicle, which I didn't ask them to inspect and pressured me to get them fixed at Grismer Their only problem was I had just taken my vehicle to the dealer I trust and have been working with for year--no problems I did take my vehicle back to the dealer to "double-check", but all was "within wear for the age of the vehicle"
This happened years ago on another vehicle and it made me not want to return to Grismer, but with the new location opening, I thought I would give them another try--I did get a good price on the tires, but I will never use Grismer again

Had a tire replaced under warranty which went smoothly which was good The problem was when my wife came home the car did not feel right which led me to find the tire was inflated to almost 50psi and should have been only 35psi This could had lead to a tire blowout and an accident If you value you car and life stay away from the Grismer in Vandalia Ohio

Don't expect friendly customer service at the Englewood location. I've been there this week and also my daughter and we were both treated like second class citizens. Rude on the phone and in person. Not just one employee but three. The only friendly employee was the mechanic. I've been a loyal Grismer Tire customer for a while but I will not be going back.

Very UNHAPPY!!!! Would not recommend Grismer. Took my car in to Grismer's in Troy for its free oil change & tire rotation. They not only charge an arm and a leg, but request that you pay them your firstborn son (pretty sure Rumpelstiltskin trains the employees). They should be called Greedy Grismer or Greasy Grismer. Here's the experience that I've had with Grismer, and continue to have to this day (even though it's been two years since I went to them in the first place). I had just bought a used Lexus GS350 in the summer of 2014 when not long into having it, my tires kept going flat- apparently two of them had nails in them but they were probably due to be replaced anyways. Since it is a Lexus it has a Tire Pressure Monitoring System, which Grismer recommended I replace all four since they were "corroded", I trusted them and went ahead with getting them replaced. This store did not have four on site, so they wound up just replacing three. When we went up to pay, they had itemized four TPMS on the bill and were ready to charge us in full when my Mom pointed the error out. The man apologized and changed it to 3. The bill still came up to a pretty big price for 4 tires and TPMS. Fast forward less than a year later (2015) and my car is driving really rough and bumpy and my tires have all sorts of weird weathering on them. I take it to Sears, where they inform me that the only thing wrong with my car is that one tire is bigger than the other three.....WHAT?????? Grismer had placed one tire bigger than the other. How negligent can a service shop be? So we took it back up to Grismer, told them their mistake, only to be told by the manager that there is no way that one tire bigger than the others could cause the tires to be weathered so badly.....but he said he'd replace the one tire with the correct sized tire. I was completely irate and called up the Sears auto shop to inform the manager how the car definitely could have gotten so badly weathered by one tire being bigger than the rest, especially on an all wheel drive car. The Grismer manager conceded and finally agreed to replace all 4 tires at no cost. I was thankful they did agree and wasn't going to write a poor review, but now I've been having issues with the tire stem valves that they replaced with TPMS. Turns out, they were the wrong size for my car and they should have put in Lexus grade TPMS. Since they decided they would rather get more money out of me than provide honest services to a customer, I've had to replace all tire stem valves now, because of the shoddy job Grismer did. And that's the story of when all my auto shop trust issues began.

WARNING! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO GRISMER TIRE IN VANDALIA OHIO. I took my car there for a front and rear wheel alignment. After the alignment the car pulled to one side when accelerating making it difficult to drive and some of the alignment specs were not within tolerance after I drove it home. I took care back and was told it had been a difficult alignment and that was the best they could do. I took it up on myself at home after some research to remove the rear wheels and check for proper torque on the bolts for the rear suspension and found 3 bolts not correct. One for the right side rear trailing arm to the knuckle was completely lose (I could turn it by hand) it should have been 37+ foot pounds of torque, this is what was causing the car to pull to one side under acceleration. Found two strut to knuckle bolts that should have been torqued at 140 foot pounds, one was at 60 and another was at 38. I called the manager again to find out why they had not checked the bolts; he said they can’t take the time to check the torque on bolts because that would be a $400 or $500 dollar alignment they only charge around $80.
They will allow your car to drive off their lot in an unsafe driving condition and since the manger admitted that they don’t torque bolts I assume they do this to all their repair work. They should lose their license to perform any kind of mechanical service before someone is involved in a serious accident. It is just not worth the risk, take your vehicle elsewhere for service.
