Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
After reading the reply from the dealer, I found there to be discrepancies between what the dealer stated and actually what happened.A friend and I purchased scooters (initial mileage on scooter was 13) in June Both of us purchased $service plans each to cover for mile service and then for 1,mile serviceDealer was asked where the scooters were made and he stated they were manufactured in Green Bay, WisconsinHe added that if there were ever any issues with the scooters that there would not be a problem getting parts being the product was manufactured in our own state.I had difficulty getting the scooter started and keeping it runningI contacted the dealer that the scooter was not running; he stated he would come pick it up; it took him several days before he was able to pick up the scooterOnce the scooter was picked up, it took about two weeks to get it fixed as he was waiting on a part. The fuel pump had to be replaced and the battery needed charging. When he was done fixing the scooter I went to pick it up to drive home.I continued having issues with getting the scooter running. I was able to ride it twice. I stopped by the dealer with my sister as her and a friend were interested in buying scooters as well. I had mentioned at this point that the scooter was still having issues and the dealer stated that because it is so brand new, that it will take some time to break it inSummer was over and the scooter was winterized and stored with a cover in an enclosed dwelling.Next summer rolls around…2016…At this time battery was not showing a charge, so my sister and I went to the dealership and had the battery checked. The service person stated to come back in about hours to give them time to charge the batteryAfter returning, the dealer stated that the battery was dead; additionally he commented on others having the same issue. The dealer stated it would be hard to get a replacement since they are manufactured in China (not what he stated when purchased, stated that they were manufactured in Green Bay and getting parts would not be a problem). The dealer said he would contact me when he had tracked down a battery.Did not hear from the dealer for a long time and now it is August 2016.Friend went to the dealership to acquire about the battery. The dealer said he forgot all about it, because of having a new baby. He apologized and said he would make a couple of phone calls and give my friend a call the next day.My friend attempted calls to the manufacturer in Green Bay to look for help; only to find that both numbers were not even in serviceAfter further research, we discovered the scooters were actually manufactured in China and not in Green Bay, Wisconsin as we were originally told on the day of purchase. My friend never heard from him for a week and a half.My friend went to the dealership to inquire about the battery and one of the workers was able to give her a battery. The battery was placed in the scooter by us and once again had issues getting it started and when it did start it would not stay running. My friend called the dealer about the issue and asked him to pick up the scooter and that I wanted my money refunded.A week went by and my friend called the dealer again to pick up the scooter. The dealer called my friend and said he would be over to pick up the scooter and stated that I would have to stop in to sign off on the paperwork. Two employees came to pick up the scooter and one tried to start it which was an issue and when he got it started it would not stay runningThey too had the same problem I had in attempting to get the scooter running. They loaded it up and took it.A couple of days passed and my friend and I went to the dealership to sign paper work and get the refund. The dealer stated that the scooter was fixed and that it had some gunk in it, which was from the manufacturing of it. Dealer mentioned that they drained the gas, but said nothing about it being bad. At this point I just wanted my money back. The dealer did a price check and said he could only give $for the scooter, which was only half of which I paid for it. Frustrated with this whole situation my friend stated that we would be contacting the Revdex.com or taking him to small claims court. As I walked away I stated that he would be hearing from my attorney. After talking with my friend I decided the best way to handle this was to start with contacting the Revdex.com.In closing, the bullets listed above indicate the many discrepancies from the reply from the business owner. As you can see I’ve been very patient with the dealer, but after numerous phone calls and stopping at the business, it just seems this dealer has not made customer service a priority. Furthermore this is a business that has conveyed facts that are not trueI am still requesting to have my money refunded for the price of the scooter $and the $service plan I purchased; this would not include the tax/title/license on the purchase. I have had very little enjoyment of this scooter due to the issues
Regards,
Sally ***

The scooter did have a bad battery which we replaced, this past summer, the customer then stated that it would start but not stay running, we did our best to pick up the scooter since the customer had no way of transporting it, it did take longer than we hoped to pick up but was picked up in about a...

weeks time, after it was picked up we serviced the scooter for no charge and found the gas was very old, we drained the old fuel and filled it with fresh gas, then rebuilt the carburetor, the scooter then ran like new. We are not able to tell if bad gas was a factor the entire summer or not as the customer had not contacted us until late summer of 2016 with the bad battery complaint, which then became the issue with it running AFTER we replaced the battery, if the customer had issues with the scooter running poorly we were not informed about it until after the battery was replaced. In our face to face meeting with the customer it was explained that we have not charged anything for service and apologized for any inconvenience, the customer was adamant about just wanting to return the scooter, the scooter has had been ridden over 50 miles, titled and registered, and could no longer be considered new, not to mention it was over a year old, we offered to pay her for the scooter, plus refund her money for the extended warranty and service plan, the only thing we can not refund is tax, title and licensing since this has to be looked at as a used scooter trade in, not a dealer buy back as over a year had passed.  At this point the customer and her friend became angry and no longer let me speak, then proceeded to walk out of our showroom and informed me that they will be contacting their attorney, at this point any communications will be directed through our attorney as we are still unaware of any pending lawsuit that the customer told us they will be bringing on us.Thank you for your time.
