This company has been harassing me for months!!! They do not deserve even a 1 star review but I had to give that in order to leave a review.

Ref: Contract # ***

I cancelled this contract by certified mail in a timely manner and requested a refund as specified in the Cancelation Provisions of the on Contact on July 11, 2019. To date this refund has not been received. I talked with Mr. Perez who agreed it didn't make sense to purchase this contract for such a high mileage vehicle.

To Whom It May Concern:

We would like to thank Ms. Jones for taking the time to contact us. In regards to her complaint, we do see that Ms. Jones cancelled her policy with us on 7/2019. Our system shows it attempted to process a refund shortly after however a glitch in the system prevented the funds from going through. We sincerely apologize to Ms. Jones for that. Ms. Jones emailed our customer service department regarding this matter and advised us if not refunded she would file a complaint on 5/1/2020. We immediately looked into the matter and refunded her again and called her the same day 4/13/2020 and confirmed with both her and her husband that she has been refunded and provided her with a transaction ID. Attached is proof of her refund. We apologize for the delay regarding Ms. Jones refund and thank her for her understanding with us on the phone when we spoke. We ask the Revdex.com to close this complaint as answered and resolved.

got myself a policy and it has already paid for itself. I needed an electrical repair and when they tolds me it was $1900 for the repair of the part and with labor my heart dropped. I remembered I purchased this and they approved my claim. only had to pay $100 for the entire repair. they even reimbursed me for my rental car. dont let these reviews fool you. this plan DOES work.

I was recently a part of one of those scams every number they gave me does not work there is no one I can speak with there's no one I can even get ahold of they took my $195 and I haven't heard from you anyone since never even received the bogus package run away as fast as you can

I received a call from a local phone number and when I answered they claimed they were from *** offering me extended warranty as mine was about to expire. I gave them a $161 activation deposit only to find out that this is a scam. I am trying to cancel the policy and get my money back but the phone lines are always busy.

Ms.,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Upon reviewing the account I do see that you signed up with us on 11/21 and called to cancel with us on the same day. I do see that a representative spoke with you and assisted you in reversing the policy the same day. Upon reversing the policy the down payment of $161.10 was automatically voided out. Depending on your banking institution it may take 24-72 hours for it to reflect in your account. If you need further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us with your bank to provide a transaction ID number for the voided out payment. At this time the complaint has been resolved and the customer has been fully refunded the same day they called in to cancel. We ask the Revdex.com to close this complaint.

I was contacted on October 8, 2019 to renew a warranty that I had with ASC and was pressured into doing so, despite my insistence to customer service representative *** that I wished to consult with other members of my household on the large purchase. She assured me my down payment was refundable as long as it was within 30 days of my contract starting. On October 21, I called ASC and received a different customer service associate, and expressed my desire to cancel. The woman told me if I wanted to cancel, I had to mail a letter, which I did on October 22, 2019. On October 29, 2019 I have received no refund and was billed for this month's contract, despite me going through the proper channels to cancel it.

This email is in response to a now closed complaint (#***). We would first like to apologize for the delay in reply as we have recently experienced a change in management. Upon looking into complain #*** for a former customer of ours *** M ***. Ms. called our Customer Service department on 10/21/19 to cancel her policy with us within her 30 day review period. This review period allows customers to review there policy and what it covers, as well as to make sure it meets their needs and allow them time to consult and review all their options without feeling pressured. In accordance with the cancellation instructions per her Administrator explained in her policy booklet, the Customer Service Representative provided Ms. the proper information to cancel her account. While Ms. stated she has not been refunded, upon further review into the account she was refunded on 10/30/2019. Attached is the receipt providing she was refunded. We ask the Revdex.com to mark this complaint as resolved. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at 800-909-6192 and ask for ***.Best regards,Customer Service

I did not authorize this company to purchase a contract or charge my credit card after giving them my information as I decided at the last minute that what they were selling was not for me. The customer service representative that I talked to told me it would be cancelled and not charged. A day later, I got an email saying that they had approved my contract and loan. Checked my credit card, and it had been charged the 300 dollar deposit. Called to cancel and if I talk to someone, they just put me on hold and it no one ever picks up. SCAM.

I purchased a warranty in March. On June 18, or around that date, my car wouldn’t go into reverse. I sent my car to a transmission shop, that this company told me was okay for me to take to, just for that shop to tell me a few days later they can’t do anything for me and I need to have it sent to a Ford Dealership. This company called me as well to tell me the same thing and the man on the line also told me they could tow it for me to the dealership. I told him I want to review my options and I will call them back to let them know if I want to have them tow it for me. Few minutes later I called back just for another man to tell me they can’t do that. This was extremely frustrating and I had to pay out of pocket for this tow because of these peoples’ poor communication skills. I had my car sent to a Fairway Ford Dealership and THEY covered a few things and I had my car back 07/01. By THEY, I mean FORD. They installed a new module into my transmission, replaced my side door latch, and my fuel tank. These things were already covered under warranty by Ford for my 2014 Ford Focus. I had to leave the dealership with my car STILL NEEDING a dual clutch assembly that this company won’t cover. This will cost me $2200 out of pocket to have repaired. This company has done nothing for me out of the hundreds of dollars I have paid out for me. I called to cancel my plan and sat on hold for twenty minutes, to no avail. I left a message, no response. This company is shady and I can’t even get out.

I purchased a warranty through ASC and was told that the warranty covered everything. It was "bumper to bumper" coverage. I read through the contract once I received it and realized that was not true. I had some issues with my car over the last couple months. When I provided my dealership with the information to submit claims and the contract, they stated that nothing was covered and they were unaware of this company. I have recently called to cancel my policy and have been awaiting a refund minus the $150 cancellation fee. I did not use the policy and the one time I tried to, I was told I could not. The warranty was pointless and might as well have been a scam. I am looking for my refund. No refund after not being able to use the policy is unacceptable.

Thank you for informing us of the following customers complaint. *** and *** purchased coverage with us at Automotive Services Center 12/06/2019. On the date of purchase they were informed that they are provided with a 30 day review period. That way they have the ability to review the coverage in the comfort of their own home to ensure that it meets their needs, and if they chose to discontinue coverage within the first 30 days they would be entitled to a full refund. (this information if also disclosed in the contract that was sent to their home, I have attached their contract for a Revdex.com team member to review.) The covered components are also stated in the policy, if for any reason the customer had a claim denial it would be because the repair was for a non-covered component. On 4/16/19 ***/*** called into our customer service department at 800-909-6192 requesting to cancel. Based on the notes regarding the conversation she had with our agents she stated that they decided to cancel due to affordability. Our agents tried their best to accommodate the customers at that time, but were unsuccessful. *** then asked for a refund. Company policy requires a cancel letter to be sent to our facility to complete all cancellation/refund requests. The policy also discloses how the prorated refund is cancelled. I have also included a screenshot of the date/mileage of the vehicle when the policy was cancelled, how the cancellation was determined, and a hand written letter provided by the customer with the exact mileage on the vehicle as on the date requested for the cancel. Based on the mileage of the vehicle at time of cancel the value used is $732.42,and the customers had only invested $639.30, which is why no refund would be due. Please let me know if any additional information is required, thank you. Gabrielle Sanchez 800-909-6192.

On the attachment I provided shows the correct cancel odometer amount, and at the time the cancel letter was received we entered the correct amount of 116,698. That is the exact amount provided by the customer. Yes the policy expires at 163,530 or 4 years. However you only invested 3 out of the 20 monthly installments agreed upon. Listed under REFUND CALCULATION you can see for yourself how the refund was calculated, based on the time used it was 10.7%, however based on the vehicles mileage 23.2% of the policy was used. Which exceeds the dollar amount that you had invested into the program.

Perhaps representatives should be trained more thoroughly because I had more than 1 representative state I was entitled to a refund. Yes only 3 months were paid for without any claims being paid out. The very first conversation when we signed up which is stated it is recorded, is not what I have been told since I canceled. Very disappointed in the service or lack there of.

I have a 2016 suburban 4WD. My vehicle was stuck in a 4WD position so I took it to the Dealership and gave them my contract for warranty from Automotive Service Center but they declined to cover my repair. The Automotive Service Center agent was giving Chevy Dealership false information of the TCM being covered under federal emission. My service adviser at Chevy advised that the ECM was a covered component but not the TCM but the agent still declined the warranty.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I Gabrielle Sanchez the customer service manager here at Automotive Services Center wanted to personally look into this to get a better understanding. We are a seller of vehicle service products that are contracted through various administrations who provide their services. The administrator on your policy is Black Diamond, and I had gotten some clarification form their claims department. On 4/23/19 your service adviser Brian from your local Chevrolet dealership had submitted a claim for the TCM transmission control module. The transmission control module is covered under your policy in the event of a failure/need of repair. When Black Diamond claims asked if the TCM was in need of a repair or to be replaced the adviser stated that the TCM was only in need of reprogramming /reflash. Claims confirmed that within the customers contract listed under exclusions #15 this would not be a covered claim.

+1

Do NOT get caught by these high pressure salesmen and scammers!!! They make unauthorized withdrawals on your account and charge you more than you agreed to!!1

We do apologize about the dissatisfaction when initially agreeing to our services. On the date of activation there was a clerical error and as soon as you brought it to our attention we took further precautions to ensure that this would not happen to any other clients moving forward. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I have also confirmed that due to the mistake on our behalf your account has been refunded in full. Again we take full responsibility and completely understand why you chose to discontinue coverage, we wish you the best.

I purchased my policy with them I believe 10/24/18 with a down payment of 195$ for my Toyota and they were very sweet to me and understanding, I had to skip Decembers payment because of finical issues which they understood and pushed my payment out, so far I like this company no complaints

Thank you for the positive feedback Alicia, your review is most certainly appreciated. I'm glad to hear our accounting department was able to accommodate you. Our customer service agents are more then happy to assist you in the future.

I purchased a car warranty service on July 30, 2018, for $295.00, and cancelled it within its 30 day trial period, on August 17, 2018. I was told the refund would process and post within 6-8 weeks. I called back to check on the status of the processing/refund near the end of August and was told it was processing and would post back to my account soon after. Nothing posted since, so I called again 10/17/2018 and was told the refund of $295 would post on Oct 19, 2018. Nothing posted still so I called back 10/23/18 and was told the papers need to be resubmitted and could now take an additional 3-5 weeks to process and post.

I think this is a shady company,l say that because I purchased a extended warranty service, then changed my mind and requested a refund. It dawned on me several weeks later my 295.00 had not been credited back to me. I then called and was told it would take 4_6 weeks for my refund.I cancelled 09/04/18 10/9/18 l still had no refund so again and asked why it took your company one day to take my payment for services from my checking account, and in these days of electronics it takes your company 4-6 weeks to refund my money back to me. I fell this is a unacceptable practice and should be looked into or stated at the time of purchase.
