We used Lisa's services to help us stage two Mequon condos for saleLisa assesses your home with an eye to paint colors and furniture/accessory placement to provide recommendations to present your home in the best possible light to a potential buyerYou can do as much or as little as your budget allowsOne of our condos needed quite a bit of renovation before putting it on the market and she helped us prioritize the renovations and helped us pull it all together with a pleasing wall color palateLisa is friendly and very professionalWe enjoyed working with her very much

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
If the chemical the company sprayed takes 30-days worked then why after months did we still have ants? I also found ants in my shed and the other company came back and sprayed those as well for me and within weeks I haven't seen any live ones I really don't trust the integrity of this company The secretary WAS very rude to my wife and myself both when we called and questioned their work As for their refund policy it must be different when the Revdex.com contacts them *** told me and my wife both at different times we would get a refund And yes after visits with no result who would keep using the same company whether they charged or not, especially when you've had a pest problem for months The company that retreated is what finally got rid of the ants not the residual of minnicks sprayings After sprayings and them continuing to want to just spray you become concerned for the health of yourself and your pet But as *** told my wife when she questioned that regarding the health of our dog,"he's not dead is he?" I understand they have labor, fuel and materials they have to cover But after the 3rd time as a homeowner you have to throw in the towel and find someone who can get the job done And yes I did not want them taking the insulation down in my crawl space to look for a mystery water leak they said I had By the way there is no evidence of water on any of the insulation I cannot imagine how my insulation would be put back up by a pest control company and that is why I refused that 4th service.

Lisa has the knowledge and experience to do the things that make a home sell Small job or large, I have used her services time and time again and it has always resulted in a quick sale!

I called the business and immediately the women on the other phone line "***" was completely rudeIn a totally rude tone that everyone would take offense to she asked me the make, model, and vin # of my vehicleI told her I did not know the vin and simple asked if other people actually knew their vin #'s and she then raised her voice at me and started telling me that she could not help me unless I absolutely had this information and she hung up on meI called back because I am trying to locate my vehicle that was involved in an accident and that still has personal stuff in it and she then states to me again very rude " where is it at?, ***, ***?" I said I don't know the accident happened in the *** *** and she states " well that's a big area so where is it? I'm telling her that is what I am trying to find out and that she is being a complete *** to me and she says back to me "Well,you are one too" Again she hangs up on meGREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I call back with the VIN # and she starts off our conversation with "Since you don't want to talk to a ***, let me get someone else for you" Puts me on hold then picks the phone back up and states "well there is no one else here", I said okay then you'll have to deal with meI give her the information again and she tells me she need to look into it (again very rude) she asks for my name and phone number which I give to her and she hangs up as soon as I am done, no explanation, no it's going to take this long etcSo, I call back again, "***" answers again and I ask about how long before she will have the information and she then states to me " Well, if you would quit calling I could look into it, and right now I am helping customers who actually need help" I advise her that she does not need to keep being rude and unprofessional and that I would like to speak to her bossShe states to me that she is a "Co-Owner" I said well that is unfortunate"***" then tells me that I "wouldn't want to speak to the other boss because it would be worst" I stated "Oh, yes I would because if this is how you are running your business it is sad" I then advised her that I was going to make a formal complaint with the Revdex.com so that people would be aware of her horrible business practices in their time of needAt this point she hangs up on me again and about minutes later a gentleman (much nicer) calls me back and gives me the information on the where abouts of my vehicleIt was that simpleSo Customers need to be aware of "***" and her lack of compassion, humanity and jaded behavior especially if you have been under stress or during a time of need

Lisa is a talented interior designer. She has an incredible sense of color, fit and creativity. Her passion for design shows through in all of her projects. She is reliable, organized and energetic with exemplary initiative and great follow through. It has been a definite pleasure to work with Lisa and I highly recommend her.

One of our condos needed quite a bit of renovation before putting it on the market and she helped us prioritize the renovations and helped us pull it all together with a pleasing wall color palate. Lisa is friendly and very professional. We enjoyed working with her very much.

I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful and amazing my experiences have been when working with Designing Works! As we were preparing to sell my parents home where they had lived for over 40 years, Lisa and her team came and helped paint and stage their home - not only did the house look fabulous and inviting, but my parents had 4 offers within the first two hours of the house being on the market!! And they ended up with $25,000 more than their asking price!! I am confident that this would not have been possible had we not enlisted the help of Lisa, who was patient and thoughtful when working with my parents...it was an easy choice to ask for her help in making their new condo feel homey with her painting and design suggestions!!

Designing Works has helped me at my home, especially recently when I was trying to surprise my family with a major paint job, only to find that it was WAY beyond my skill set...no problem as Lisa swiftly sent one of her painters to save the day in time for the big reveal.

I highly recommend Designing Works, and I am happy to be able to spread the word about their professional and helpful ways.

We first did the job for the customer and his wife on 3/23/16, using Demon Max, a residual chemical designed to kill multiple kinds of pests, including ants. Two weeks after we finished the initial job, on 4/6/16. His wife called and said that the ants were even worse, and...

they requested a refund at that time. We do not have a refund policy, rather, we have a quality job policy, in which it states that if a customer is not satisfied with the job, we come back as many times as it takes, at no extra charge. [redacted] then called them and said he would come back to fix the problem. On 5/5/16, over a month after the initial spraying, We did the job again at no extra charge, again, using Demon Max. Sometime between 5/5/16 and 5/20/16, the customer called again stating that the ants were worse than ever and they again requested a refund, as well as stating that our secretary was very rude to them in telling them they would have to wait for the chemical to take effect. Our secretary has been with us since 1999, and is very polite and kind to anyone that calls, making this a false claim. [redacted] then did the job again on 5/20/16, again, using Demon Max as the last two times. On 6/3/16, they called up yet again saying that the ants were still there, [redacted] then stated that he has never had this kind of problem with ants before in his 37 year tenure as a pest control technician, he offered to come back again at no charge, and take a look around their insulation. The customer stated that we were going to tear their insulation apart, and they then refused a fourth time service. On 6/29/16, They called again, stating that another pest control company ([redacted]), came to their house and eradicated the ants for half the price we did, and they again, requested a refund because of this. Demon Max works from 30 to 45 days, and has a flushing agent that draws the ants out, making the other pest control company`s chemical obsolete, because our chemical was still working. The customer then stated that [redacted] told them we were using Retreat, a repellent chemical, which is false, we have never used this chemical ever in our business, and where the customer said they saw we used it, it was on the price portion of the ticket, where it said retreat for the office records. We feel that a refund is not necessary because we eradicated the ants with our chemical, and hard work, in the three times we did the job. Again, we do not have a refund policy, only a quality control policy, and we never tell anyone we give refunds, the price of chemical, labor, gas, and more, prohibits us from giving a refund, as after all of this is subtracted, there would be no money left to refund. We did offer to come back and spray again, as many times as it would take, and the customer refused any further service after the third time. If the customer would have had patience and waited for the chemical to work to kill the ants, there wouldn’t have been a problem, and there wouldn’t have been any reason to call another exterminator. The owner, Mrs. Minnick, has been in the pest control business for 70 years, and has owned Minnick Termite for 43 years, and we are a family owned and operated company who always provides quality and excellent service for all of our customers.
