I have spoken with *** and his English speaking interpreter about this issueHe and I both agreed there is not anything left that we can do because of his choice to go with a used transmission (from a salvage yard) that only came with a day parts only warrantyAfter we installed the
transmission he was suppose to take the vehicle to the dealer to get his transmission control module reprogrammed the very next dayHe doesn't speak English very well so we set the appointment up for him at Clyde Revord GMC for the earliest appointment available*** did not show up to that appointmentThe transmission control module must be reprogrammed right away to avoid damage to the replacement transmissionWe explained that a new transmission would come with a 12month/12,mile parts and labor warranty but he said it was out of his budget so he chose the used optionUnfortunately the used transmissions are not warrantied passed days (parts only)
