In response to the damage that may is being addressed on the Toyota, there was no damage to the rear end of the car anywhere, and we also sent pix to the customer showing the back of the car and the side of the car when it was driven off of the lot the day that they picked the car up.
There is no damage on the back of the car anywhere, When they did bring the car back to show us two months later, there was a large rub mark on the right rear corner of the bumper face, and some of the paint had been rubbed offThis damage would have to have been done by eight someone backing the Toyota into something, or someone hitting the car with another car and damaging the rear bumperEither one of these could be the case, but there would be no way of us being able to tell exactly what happened to the care while it was in their ownership. I did see the car when they brought it back to have us take a look at it, and I did see the damage on the right rear corner of the bumper that was not there when they took possession of the car. We did say that we could try and help them with the car and help get it repaired, but the costs were not to be covered by us since we did not do any damage to the car and the car showed no signs of damage when they took possession of the car back in August, Even though they decided to slander us on Facebook on our Automotive Wholesale Center page, we still offered to try and assist if we could, but would not be liable for any damage done while the car was in their possession. Im sure that Mrs Brandt did not like hearing that we were not at fault and would not pay for damage done to her car so she did get upset with *** and did not like the outcomeWe are sorry for her issues with the rear bumper, but again we are not at fault and will not cover damage done during her time of ownership*** did express this to her over and over, and she would not understand and proceeded to be offensive to ***We never called her a liar, and tried to help her understand the situation, but she would NOT let up on us and continued to slander us on Facebook on our website. As to the issue on their clutchThere also was NO ISSUE on the drive ability of the Toyota when they took it off of the lot, and even at 150,miles, the car ran and drove amazingly well when they purchased the car and drove it off of the lot and thanked us over and over for the purchase of their second car from our dealership. After driving the car for two months they are now making claims that we had something to do with the grinding of gears in thirdWe did drive the car and there was NO PROBLEM with the Toyota during the time we owned the car nor during the time that they owned the car till now. We would be happy to try and help, but if they have worn out a clutch plate, we do not know, but the warranty company does NOT cover Clutch or Pressure Plates, if that is indeed what they have issues with. Again, We would be happy to try and save them some money on the Toyota with 150,miles, but any damage that they may have done to the car over the last two months of driving would not be our fault and they are asking for repairs that we did not cause or have any hand in. We are always happy to try and assist our customers and we have MANY repeat and referral customers

In response to the complaint # ***When Mr *** contacted Mr *** *** about a Mercedes Benz SAMG, *** would have informed him that the Mercedes Benz SAMG was no longer available for purchase because it was purchased the month before by a family that did trade
in a Mercedes Benz Sin the same color and the same year, but their trade in was available with more miles and for a less expensive price than the price of the Mercedes Benz SAMG. This was all shared with Mr *** before he drove all day (as he suggests) to get here. SO there would have been no surprises when he came to our location about what car was availableCars are usually removed from our website the day of or the day after sale and if we do get phone calls about a vehicle we do share if they have been sold and also we would be happy to share any other vehicles that we might have to satisfy a particular need. The Mercedes Benz SAMG was a more expensive car than the one that Mr *** was willing to purchaseThe SAMG would not have fit into his budget anyway since he was working with a specific amount of funds. All of these facts were shared with Mr *** before the transaction ever took placeI'm not sure how Mr *** was " PAINTED INTO A CORNER" by any of our staff, since Mr *** is an adult and has the option of saying NO to any car purchase, or choosing a different car for his needs. Mr *** did decide on purchasing the Mercedes Benz Safter he looked at the car VERY VERY Closely. We actually have pictures of Mr *** inspecting the cosmetics of the car and checking out any touch ups and/or paint work that may have ever been done to the car. We also made no claims to any paint work ever done to the car, because none was done by our staff or any of our vendors to the Mercedes SWhile in our inventoryAny touch ups or paint work would have been done to the car prior to it being traded in to us by the previous ownerAfter Mr *** made all of his inspections he decided to purchase the Mercedes Benz S500. We did also have the car fully Missouri State Safety and Emissions Inspected by a Nationwide Company that is off site of our dealership that works with the laws and restrictions set in place by the Missouri State Highway PatrolThis repair facility has a fantastic reputation and we use them for most of our Missouri InspectionsWe also know that they are very willing to hand us a bill for any repairs that they would need to do to give us a legal Missouri State safety Inspection, so it would be in their best interest to make sure that all vehicles inspected by them are up to the Missouri State Highway patrols inspection requirementsIf any safety issues are present, they would have made me repair these problems and made me pay for them before the inspection certificate would be offeredSO for Mr *** to say that any other mechanic would have totaled the car is a very statementIf Mr *** asked our sales rep any questions about any issues with the car, *** would not have been able to give him any specific answer, since *** is not a certified mechanic and would not know what may or may not be good or bad with any mechanical issuesWe do rely on reputable repair shops to share what is needed to have a car be safe for Missouri HighwaysMr *** also made mention in his notes that there are areas of touch up paint that has damaged the finish of the car, and here again, that is not something that we do, and he was certainly welcome to run any Car Fax, or any history on any vehicle before his purchases and we have no control of any damage done to any vehicle before it enters our inventory and we make no claims to anything that we have no knowledge of. Any repair work that we would have had to do to a year old car, would have been reflected in the costs of the car and would have been reflected in the price of the car for the retail market. Mr *** is being very unreasonable in his requests and we would respectfully deny the claims that he is making. No one working for Automotive Wholesale Center painted him into a corner (as he states) and made him drive all day (as he States) or made him feel pressured to purchase a Year old Mercedes Benz Swith just under 100,milesAs an adult I would think he could make up his own mind, and with our repeat and referral history of customers, I have many many many documents of customers that were and still are VERY happy with our business practices. Mr *** is not only being very unreasonable, but has now also threatened to blackmail our company if I don't send him $He made mention that he is going to contact social media and slander our nameHe makes mention that he is a solid guy and wants a car for his one year old daughter to ride inWe are not sure how a vehicle could make the ALL DAY ride back to his home and have a current Missouri State Safety inspection by a registered testing facility if it was not safe to drive He also sent out a text today 6/21/To *** *** , his salesman, that he IS going to contact the Revdex.com if we don't send him $1000. He says he has not done that as of yet, but by looking at the dates of the response we have received from the Revdex.com, we are suggesting that Mr *** has already contacted the Revdex.com since I am now sending this in response to his accusations. Mr *** now is saying he is going to slander us on social media unless we give him $in which he had to take a loan out for repairs on his car, that any other mechanic would have totaled. Automotive Wholesale Center does very good business and we have MANY MANY documented referrals as to our business practices. We would love to try and assist any customer with any issues, but we will not take kindly to blackmail, and accusations and we will respond with what ever we need to do to make these statements publicThank you for your attention on this and please feel free to contact me with any and all questions or feedbackYou can reach *** most anytime at *** I would be happy to try and assist, and I have all of the documents necessary to show our position on this matterOur kindness in not to be confused with any weaknessWe are always happy to help, but we will also make sure that the truths will be toldAgain, thank you for your attention on this. ***

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/05/12) */
My sales person [redacted] took a Jeep purchased by a young man to get gas and was rear ended. The police were called and a report was completed. The man who bought the Jeep said that he had insurance. The mother called me later and ask if I...

was going to cover the damage. I told her I had not checked because they said they had insurance to cover it. I told them to have their insurance man call me. I told her that I would help cover any deductible. Their insurance carrier said they were going to open a claim on it. The person who rear ended the car may not have insurance.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 15, 2015/06/01) */
I am hoping you can assist with this complaint case. This case was closed based on the company's response. The company stated they would assist in covering the cost of the deductible to fix my Jeep. My insurance company is ready to move forward with fixing my jeep and I need the $500 deductible which was agreed upon from the dealer. However, the owner has since cutoff contact and will not except phone calls.
Final Consumer Response /* (1500, 19, 2015/06/04) */
Final Business Response /* (1000, 18, 2015/06/04) */
Even though Mrs. [redacted] is attacking me numerous times, I will pay half of their deductible. I do not believe I need to nor should I because of Mrs. Mohls demeanor, but because of [redacted] and his Grandfather being so great to work with I am still willing to help.
I have never blamed these consumers. They should really go after the person who hit their vehicle. If they'd go after him, (they have all of his info) he is responsible for repairing their vehicle.
