Automotoriz Baja

I took my VW Jetta into Automotriz Baja for transmission issues. Omar, the owner, wrote up my work order for a rebuilt transmission with a one-year warranty for $2,000. He could not fix it. I had to get the Bureau of Automotive Repair involved. Omar had excuse after excuse as to why he would not fix the car. He kept adding on additional costs saying other things were wrong with the car. We had paid $1,000 up front. After 3 months, we asked for the $1,000 back and the car back. He wouldn't release it back. I had to file a case in Small Claims Court. DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC As of right now, it has been in the shop for 10 months.
