After talking to our General Manager, he stated that AutoNation spent an extra accommodating the customer after he bought the vehicleThe GM stated that the company lost money on the vehicleThe GM stated that we have done everything that was agreed to do and we cannot do anything
else for this sale

This vehicle has been repaired and returned to the customer.

I have forwarded this complaint to our attorney. This lady came in signed paperwork for a vehilce and then filed bankruptcy. She was called several times and told to come back in to the dealership and resign the contracts as the lendor would not approve the original documents; she refused to come...

back into the dealership; so therefore the lender never purchased the contract. So the vehicle had to be returned. She refused to return the vehicle back to the dealership and the company had to hire a repossession company to go get the vehilce for us.

The customer knowingly traded in a jeep that was financed through a lender and did not disclosed on the disclosure sheet of a lien being on the jeep. The state released the title to the customer but instead the title should have went to the correct lienholder. Adverse to the customer stating...

that he GM told him to trade the vehicle. The fact still arises that he customer knowingly traded in a vehicle with a lien. AutoNation is not responsible for the payment on this jeep because it was not disclosed at the time of trade to our finance managers nor was a lien payoff  obtain on the vehicle from the customer at time of purchase of new vehicle. The department of revenue made a mistake in sending the customer the title and therefore AutoNation is not liable in the case.

[redacted] signed paperwork to purchase the vehicle in question on November 7, 2015 in the hopes that she could be financed to purchase the vehicle.  When the lender refused the deal, the dealership called [redacted] on or about November 11, 2015 to come back into the dealership to sign additional paperwork so that the deal could be (hopefully) placed with another lender.  Although she said she would come back in, she failed to do so despite daily calls from the dealership for two weeks.  When the dealership ultimately reached [redacted], she said she had declared bankruptcy and hung up.
As part of the initial paperwork, [redacted] signed a Bailment Agreement, which essentially stated that the dealership was allowing her to have temporary possession of the vehicle pending lender approval and financing of the deal.  The Bailment Agreement also notes that if financing is not secured, she will need to return the vehicle.  She refused to do so, and the dealership had to send a repossession agent to retrieve its car.  This matter is currently being litigated in the bankruptcy court.
