We are unable to replace Mr***s transmission unless authorized by Ford or the Extended Service Agreement company We can try to diagnose the cause of the problems he is having, but we ultimately are only able to perform the specific repair work that is authorized by Ford.Although our service department is weeks backed up for transmission repair, if Mr [redacted] wants to bring his vehicle by, we will pull our technician to run a diagnostic to try to determine what is causing his stalling issue If it is not directly transmission related, we may have other qualified techs that could address his concern now If it is a transmission issue, we can at least set a course of action for ordering parts or scheduling the repair as soon as we have an opening We will be happy to assist Mr [redacted] in contacting his warranty company to help process a claim for a rental car if needed The rental coverage qualification will be determined by the Extended Service Contract company in accordance with his agreement.I did contact our other location in town, AutoNation Ford Lincoln, last night after I spoke with MrNunn The indicated there was a week wait to have transmissions checked Our rep at that store was supposed to call back Mr [redacted] immediately to advise and try to schedule a visit I am not sure why this call did not happen, but apologize that it didn't I should have followed up with Mr [redacted] myself to confirm.If Mr [redacted] wants us to run the diagnostic, he should call Raenell Blackwell our service manager directly to schedule the best time to do this Her direct number is ###-###-#### I will assist as well from our end anyway that I can

The customers truck should be completed no later then Monday March 21,We will cut the customer a check for his March payment

We do not have cash on the property but will have there check for them on 3/I will be glad to refund them the gas just need the receipts

out the door at $792. With a 40% discount that would make the estimate approximately $475 which we also find agreeable. I will bring the vehicle in tomorrow evening as we discussed for a recheck on the brakes to investigate and resolve the sound and vibration in the pedal. [redacted]   After reviewing your service history and discussing your concerns with  my service manager, here is what we would like to do in response to your resolution requests.    We will reimburse you for: half of the initial brake job $197.95 + leak repair $291.99 = $489.94 x 50% = $244.97 + $59.99 shop fee for second visit…for a total refund of $304.96.  This offer would address your requests for a discount on the initial job, plus cover extra brake fluid and the 2nd shop supply charge.  In addition, we will absorb 40% of the cost of the sunroof replacement, should you decide to have that done.  Lastly, as we discussed over the phone, we will re-inspect your brakes to address the grinding sound you described.   Again, I am sorry your experience was not a good one, but we want to do the right thing in trying to resolve your concerns.  I could not submit this offer through the Revdex.com since I responded initially with a review and advise statement.  If you will respond back, then I will include this email formally to them per protocol.

Customers car was diagnosed with an engine problem and we ordered a New engine from ford. This was the first time we worked on this kind of engine before so when the engine came in it was missing some seals and gaskets and bolts that we had to reorder from Ford and during the holiday season things...

are a little slower than we like. The Mechanic doing the job also for the first time slows him down because each job is always a little different. We put the customer in a rental the whole time we had there car and repaired it as quickly as possible. The first car they did not like so we got the second car down in Leesburg thru [redacted]. They were not without transportation at any time so I do not see how they were not able to travel. The process of getting the Vehicle completed was a little slow considering it was the first engine like this we had done as far as taking it apart and knowing what parts they did not send us. The engine was repaired under warranty and the rental car was a no charge item. I understand the inconvience around Christmas and the timing. Would be glad to assist in any way possible but as the customer stated, how do value inconvience. Let me know if there is something we can do

Mr. [redacted],  I have reviewed this in detail with my service team and here is what I found.  The recall repair that was completed on your car was for a door latch.  The current issue you are having is with the lock cylinders.  This is not associated with the recall in anyway or...

with any work we have done on your vehicle in the past.  Unfortunately, this is not covered under any Ford warranty.  If you decide to have the repair completed at our facility, you would be responsible for the cost of the repair.  We would be willing to offer you a 10% discount on the parts and labor as a good will gesture to assist you.  Please let me know how you would like to proceed. Thank you,  [redacted]General manager
