I have spoken with all employees that were involved and *** *** about this issue** *** had brake pads put on the vehicle at another service statation and then brought the vehicle to us because of a pulsation. Our technician found that the pads wwere installed improperly by the
other facility and we recomended new pads and turning the rotors. This is the least expensive option as replacing rotors all the way around would have cost significantly more money*** *** called after the services and told us the pulsation was still there we asked that he drive it for a few more miles to see if it went away as the pads wore to the rotors. It did not so we had him come in and recommended replacing the rotors we gave him a credit for the cost of turning the rotors he had already paid for. which is why our cost for the rotors was significantly lower than any other repair shop. The new rotors were installed and the pulsation is gone. We try and give our customers the least expensive option for repairing their vehicles and do not want to oversell new rotors when turning them is possible. When that did not solve the problem we did gave *** *** credit towards New rotors so that his cost would not be any higher than it would have been if he had went with new rotors from the start.Thank you for your attention to this matter.*** ***

This letter is in response to complaint ID 1[redacted] for [redacted]. This complaint has been resolved last week. We refunded the customer for work he paid for out of pocket at another dealership and also cancelled his extended warranty as per his request.
Friday, April 17th 2015. Spoke to [redacted] about the concern with his window regulator. Explained the noise he is hearing is coming from the window regulator being rusted. Although we did not admit fault we do bear some responsibility for just making a repair in the area of the regulator....
With this being said, we have agreed to run the repair at a discounted rate of $392.00 (originally $552) and we would split the remaining cost with Mr. Rininger ($196 to each party). He and his wife are both very satisfied with this proposal. We have ordered the window regulator and tentatively set an appointment for Monday, May 11th.
