AutoNation Ford Westlake Reviews (9)

We contacted [redacted] todayOur Superintendent is meeting with him on July along with the installer to resolve all issues

Hansons received payment from [redacted] on April 2, I do not know why [redacted] did not receive a bill in a timely manner, but I am issuing a credit for $ [redacted] to reimburse them for their finance fee This was not the fault of our company, but Hansons will make it right in the interest of good customer service

***,
I am in receipt of *** ***'s response to her complaint originally filed on 8/14/
Unfortunately Miss ***'s response is completely inaccurateAlthough several attempts were made to resolve her issues it's clear no matter what attempts are or were made she will remain "not satisfied"Considering the facts along with what we have already done in an attempt to resolve her issue there is nothing more the dealership is able to do
At AutoNation Ford Westlake we pride ourselves in customer satisfaction and never like to hear when someone is dissatisfiedHowever after reviewing everything I'm confident the dealership has done nothing wrongIn fact we have gone above and beyond in an attempt to resolve her concernShould there be any additional questions please don't hesitate to contact me personallyIf I don't hear anything further I will assume this complaint closed

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint completely.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
This company is very disrespectful to women. The gentleman with me was a family friend and yet [redacted] continues to refer to him as my husband, as if I'm trying to deceive him as the dealership deceived me. I've been a single mother of 6 (4 of 6 still at home) for 8yrs. I was tired of being mocked and being made to feel inadequate when entering their facility so I asked him to assist in the resolution. The way it was Mr [redacted] felt it necessary to try and intimidate me stating 'since he had found out about the complaint with the Revdex.com that he wasn't going to take care of my car,' instead he told me that 'he could come up with a long story about all of the things I could have done to my car in 10,000 miles.' Before he had found out about the complaint he had already stated that he 'wasn't going to cover all of the repairs', so his intimidation attempt wasn't much different than his original statement. I hadn't even put 10,000 miles on the car for one and two, I had only put about 3000 miles on it since they had least serviced the car and told me that ' everything was ok', when it clearly wasn't. It wasn't til after driving my car and putting it up on the rack that he saw how bad it was. He told me that the 'bearings were completely shot and wouldn't be driving it at all', which's what I had been trying to tell them for a few months.
The friend I had meet me at the dealership told Mr [redacted] that he would put the parts on my car if the dealership purchased the parts because I no longer trusted the service department at Autonation Ford Westlake. Mr. [redacted] called me and I picked up the parts on 23 Aug. The repairs, though the dealership didn't purchase all of the parts required for the problems I'm having, have fixed the worst of the issues that were brought up in the initial complaint. I no longer want to have any dealings with that establishment and hope that others, 3 out of 4 were women, that shared their woes while I waited for hours for my car to be looked at and 'repaired' will step forward and vent their complaints as well. I can only hope their business practices improve.
Regards,
[redacted]

We contacted [redacted] today. Our Superintendent is meeting with him on July 22 along with the installer to resolve all issues.

We have a service scheduled on 8-15-14.  The superintendent will meet the service rep at the home.

I am in receipt of your letter dated 8/22/2014 regarding [redacted]: Revdex.com Case ID [redacted] involving the purchase of an "As Is" 2005 Dodge Stratus on 10/26/2013. Below are some facts related to the purchase along with some various documents for review. Also, the transaction was conducted by...

[redacted]. Although [redacted] filed the complaint and references his relationship with Mrs. [redacted] as her son I have to ability to verify.
[redacted] purchased an "As-Is" vehicle. At the time of purchase it was clearly communicated the vehicle she was purchasing was being purchased as is with no warranty. Attached are documents acknowledging the purchase was "As-Is" with no warranty implied signed by both Mrs. [redacted] along with our General Sales Manager. Signed are both the "As-Is" Buyers Guide along with AutoNation’s Vehicle Condition Disclosure. In addition to signing our form she also initialed in 5 areas acknowledging the vehicle was sold as-is, understand that except as required by state law, the vehicle is not covered by a warranty, has inspected the vehicle and accepts the condition and operation of the vehicle.
I’ve also attached her 3 day money back guarantee signed at the time of delivery. It clearly states "if you are not completely satisfied with your used vehicle, bring it back to this location within 3 days from the purchase date and with less than 150 additional miles on it and we will give you a refund of the purchase price". With the exception of the vehicle only being here once since delivering it on 10/26/2013 for a tire and wheel repair at no charge to Mrs. [redacted] the Dodge Stratus has not been back. Unfortunately until I received this complaint we were never contacted from [redacted] stating she had any concerns related to her purchase or the mechanical performance of the vehicle.
At AutoNation for Westlake we pride ourselves in customer satisfaction and never like to hear when someone is dissatisfied. However after reviewing everything I’m confident the dealership has done nothing wrong. Should there be any additional questions please don’t hesitate to contact me personally. If I don’t hear anything further I will assume this complaint closed.
Regards,
[redacted]. [redacted]
