thats a lie I have not been contacted at all

I needed a car to get to work and home I didn't need a month headache to go along with the car I bought a Ford Focus from here and the experience up to now is just terrible When I was looking for a car, the sales woman showed me a Ford Focus and a Dodge CaliberI didn't like both but both fit my budget so I went with the Focus I speak to [redacted] who was the [redacted] r at the time and he made me sign papers like there was no tomorrow Now my complain starts I was told by [redacted] ( [redacted] r) that my license plates should take to days to arrive which is why I got a day temporary license plate and temporary registration He also told me that for my tire insurance that it covers every damage to tiresor weeks after I bought the vehicle, We had a Dust Storm and ripped my Temporary license plate I could not drive the vehicle because it had no license plate I called up [redacted] to tell him of the situation and he said that he couldn't print out an old temporary license plate because it already has been registered I then told my Mother that I couldn't drive my car because it had no platesMy parents were present when I bought the car and they both met [redacted] My mother called Autonation, as Did I, just to get a hold of a person who can print me a temporary license plateThey sent us around and around until hours later my mother got into contact with someone who printed the same license plate that I had which expires days after I bought the carThey sent it to us as an email, and I put it on days after I bought the car, I called and asked [redacted] what is going on with the plates because I have not received a license plate yet He told me that the Arizona Motor Vehicle is having a problem and that it is very slow He also told me that it should be fine that the Temporary License Plate is okay to drive even though it is expired I explained to him that even though he thinks that it is ok that the license plate is expired I still would not drive the car because of thatI then told my mother again what happened She spoke to someone else and received an email with new temporaries with a day extensionAnd during that phone call we found out that the car has no title To me this is a red flag, but what do I know? So the car has no title, and they have extended my Temporary Registration As soon as the 2nd Temporary Registration expired, Autonation Sent me another one with a day extensionI bought the car in June and the new temporary expires in December I then end up working in a dealership I asked my coworkers and they all said that what Autonation did was illegal and that they should not have done that On October 26, I called Autonation to see what is the status of the title [redacted] , who is the person in charge of the title department in Autonation, told me that " She will try fix it and to call back in two weeks It should be done by two weeks." I called Capital One, the bank that I have been financing my car, and asked them If thy had the title Capital One told me that they had no title and are still waiting I also called MOTOR VEHICLE and they said that the car has never been registered in the state of ArizonaA week pass by and I called Bernie again and capital one just to check on the statusAfter the two weeks that Bernie said she would have the title done, I called again and still nothing The bank doesn't have anything and motor vehicle has nothing either I went down to the Dealership and spoke to DANI brought down my coworker with me just to be a witnessAt this point I am very fed up of waiting for my license plate and that I have to keep printing the old ones just in case of weather I told [redacted] that I would like my money back and that they have been playing with me for the last months [redacted] tells me that I cannot have my money back but he assured me that he will try to trade me in a car and used whatever I spent as a down payment to this other carHe told me to come back the day after so that I can speak to [redacted] We also have spoken to Jim weeks prior to me going to the dealership He said there is no way that I want to see that car in my lot and that he does not want to deal with it I came back just like [redacted] told me the following day and JIM greets me I asked him what can you do for me to fix this messHe then asked me what I would want I told him I want my money back and he said "NoThat is not happening anytime." " he asked me if I was interested in a trade and I said yes I told him that [redacted] has told me that he would get me in a trade with all the money I paid for and put that as a down for another car JIM said absolutely not because of the month differenceI told him that the car has no title and he told me "IT IS NOT OUR PROBLEM THAT WE BOUGHT A CAR WITH NO PROBLEMIT IS YOUR PROBLEM THAT YOU BOUGHT A CAR FROM US WITH NO TITLEHe walked out to and told me to wait for him I see this guy flirting with a saleswoman, I got up and gathered my things and walked outNow I am stuck with a car that I can't trade, can't sell or do anything with it because this car has no title I called up Bernie as well and she said it will take another more weeks I am fed up with these clowns just playing with me [redacted] does not know how to handle customers, I do not know why he is the manager of that store [redacted] just drops promises and [redacted] IS A LAZY person in charge of the title department If you want to buy a car, DO NOT BUY FROM HERE AT ALL!!! THEY WILL SELL YOU A $CAR AND MAKE YOU PAY $for it

received zero contact, calls, messages from the title clerk. I will be happy to post my phone records as proof. You have a serious management problem at that dealership. There is no way it should take months to get this accomplished. Additionally, I never received my $gift card from a test drive prior to purchasing the carPlease advised on how we can resolve this.

Complaint ID#: ***Mrs*** brought in her Chew Malibu for an insurance claim for damage to her left rear door of which was paid by State Farm in the amount of $149,There were some light scratches to the panel, of which we repaired and painted the door handleThat damage was due
to somebody or another car, not from our body shopThe scratches she's referring to have nothing to do with Auto Nation, that's why State Farm paid for the damagesI have never heard anything else about scratches to the side door that we supposedly causedWe never caused any damages to her vehicleWhile the vehicle was here to repair that damage to the side door, we wrote her an estimate for the damage she caused by hitting an animalWe explained to Mrs*** that the front bumper needed to be removed to be able to write an accurate estimate for all the damagesWe wrote a preliminary estimate of the damage that could be seen, but we could not give a complete estimate for all the damages until the front-end parts were removed to see all the damageOn 09/22/Mrs*** brought in the Malibu in for the damage to be repaired from her hitting the animalAfter we had the front bumper removed, there was more damage that could not be seen, so we gave her a revised estimate which was for $She stated that she could not afford that amount We helped her out by discounting the parts and laborWe wanted to try and help-out a single mother as she stated, by lowering the total to $She agreed to that price and was so excited that we were helping her out with the cost of the repairs, We ordered the parts and completed all the repairs on 09/22/Mrs*** forgets about the $discount we gave her and that we repaired her air-conditioning that hasn't working been for a long timeWe didn't charge her anything for that because we didn't want her kids to be riding around in August with hot temperatures without any air-conditioningI guess she forgot about that as wellShe took CSI surveys dated 8/10/and the second CSI survey completed by her as well on 9/27/I have attached both CSI surveys which she gave us 100% on each oneYou can read her actual comments that are listed on the surveysI have also attached all three estimates for all the repairs that were completedThe story about us scratching her car is completely false, that was damage caused by another person or vehicle, she claimed that damage on that person s insurance which was State Farm, Mrs, *** did bring the car back around March stating that she was hearing some noises in the front of her vehicle and hearing brake noisesI told her we could take the vehicle on a test drive together to see what she was hearingI test drove the vehicle with her (I drove the vehicle) we drove it for several miles and went over several bumps and I never heard any noises at allThe vehicle sounded and drove perfectly normalWe never worked on her brakes, and I never heard any noises coming from her brakesI am a 30year expert in the field of automotive parts, service repairs and collision I would've noticed any abdriving or noises if there was anyIt's unfortunate that she feels this way, because all we did was go out of our way to help her as we do for so many of our AutoNation customersWe strive to deliver excellent customer service, AutoNation would not be the largest dealership auto group in the United States without delivering excellenceWe have over auto dealerships and collision centers nationwideYou don't grow that big without taking care of customers

This was by far the worst car buying experience I have ever hadI will never buy a car from them again and hope this helps othersMy wife and I bought a used car from hereWe called ahead of time and told them the exact car we were interested inWe get there and they don't have the car readyI said I want to buy the car and the sales guy asked if I could come back tomorrow because it was an hour before they closed and paperwork would take awhileWhat kind of sales guy says this? We bought the car because it was a good deal but would pay more for better serviceIt was late and by the time I reviewed the paperwork the next day, I found they charged me an extra $for window tinting when that was a listed item in the original price of the carI even discussed this with the sales guy Daniel at the dealership before purchasing the car tooI called several times and they gave me the run around and said it's extraIronically they "lost" the piece of paper that listed this as a feature and Daniel "didn't recall" having the conversation with meIt took them just about a week to get me an answer and concluded with they will not reimburse me the money and that I was wrongIt is also conveniently past the day money back guarantee returnThis is unacceptable and shows their awful customer serviceThis amount of money is negligible in relation to the price of the car but it's the Principal behind it A true testament to their dishonest business practicesI hope this review stops everyone from buying a car from them and saves you from unethical business
Stay away from Daniel D*** and used car manager Mike H***

New tires was installed on the vehicle in question on 05/17/during a used car inspectionDuring that inspection the vehicle went through a certified used car inspection were all components and systems are checked. The tires was replaced during the certification process because the vehicle
has to have more then 50% tread life leftThe tires was not replaced for any other reason than tread depth. The vehicle was sold on 06/10/and returned for an oil change on 09/22/where a multi point inspection was completedDuring the multi point inspection the tire wear and tread depth was checked and marked green (pass)From 9/22/till 02/18/the vehicle has not be in for service and we cannot say what happened to the vehicle to make the alignment off centerWhen this vehicle returned on 02/28/the customer came in for an oil change and asked us to check the tiresAt that point we told him that the tires show excessive wear and need to be replacedThe customer agreed to the price of the tires and to the price of the four wheel alignmentAfter replacing all four tires and making the alignment corrections the customer came in a paid the billThe customer left for over two hours and came back asking to get his money back after the work has been done and the vehicle and tires have been drivenBecause we have two records that show the tires have been checked prior to this last visit we feel that the responsibility of the vehicle condition is the customers not the dealerships seven months after the sale

I am rejecting this response because: I wrote those surveys within a few days of my car coming out of the shop and because of the discount I was given I of course took care of the businessI want to make this clear because obviously Mr.*** has forgot the fact of me picking up my car after repairing my door handle, I had to call back in and complain due to there being scratching on the inside of my door where I roll the driver side window and the fact that my car remote wasn’t detecting the back doors so he sent his receptionist up to my job to get my car and drive it back to the shop so they could repair the problems, of course a big inconvenience for me because I didn’t have a car up until around 1pm that dayI say all of that because obviously if my car left their business after them fixing for an insurance claim and not being QC’ed, I am sure the problems I am having now is also due to them rushing the front end of my car, which only took a day to repairSo to fast forward I took my car up there and *** did test drive my car with me in it , an when I took it up there he was sort of rushy with me, already standing outside when I pulled up and looked under the hood of my car and said everything was right and in place, I told him obviously not because I can hear something when I go over bumps and he reconfirmed with me it wasNow mind you when they fixed my car my car had to be up in the air for them to see all of the issues that my car had to repair it when they removed my front bumper so why didn’t he take the time to actually look and while he was driving I heard the noises that he apparently couldn’t hear and I mentioned that to him , each time I heard the noise and he of course acted like he didn’t hear anythingI also explained to him that I DRIVE my car everyday and drove this car everyday before taking it to them and made it clear that my car drives differently then before and I also believe he forgot about me asking him why my brake pedal makes a noise when I press down on it, he said his car sometimes does that in the morning and that possibly due to my car still being fairly new and having around 30,miles on itHowever he also said he was unsure after I questioned what he told meOverall I don’t want to go back and forth with this business, this is very sad anyone has to do this to get something resolved that a business refuses to take ownership of knowingly the issues I’m having is due to the work that was doneOver I was very greatful for the discount I was given but believe that’s why my car is having issues now because everything was rushed and again probably wasn’t QC’es eitherI can’t stress this enough about my car because I don’t feel safe driving it due to these noises I’m hearing as if the front end can break at any minute I go over a bump or turn ,To solve everything I just want my problems fixed that they caused, everything that is listed on my receipt that they “repaired/replaces” looked at by someone else and my car to be driven by someone else from the establishment so they can confirm the noises I am hearing and fix the issueI truly feel like the establishment knew I was going to have problems so that’s why Mr*** was so rushy with me and did everything he could to get me out of their way when I took my car up thereI will attach a picture of the receipt I was given which has all of the work that was completed on my car to this email.

I do not like being told that this reflects on the salesperson which is what I was told when I picked up my check. If that were true, it would make it impossible to complain about an after-sale service which has nothing to do with the initial sales experience.

DO NOT BUY FROM AUTONATION HYUNDAI TEMPE!!! A screw broke off of our sun visor on our 2016 Genesis was told to bring it in it would be a five minute fix brought it in they did not have the screw had to order it, we were called to bring it back in and it was the wrong screw they ordered it again, brought it back and we made the mistake of picking it up when it was getting dark and it was raining and could not really see the car. When we went out to our car in the sun light they had damage the roof of our car by over drilling the screw and it almost went through the roof of our car and but a hole in it and messed up the paint and they did not tell us. The whole roof had to be repainted. The car only has 6,200 miles.. So far we have been to the dealership 13 times and the paint still does not match our car and the General Manager still has never called us or will return our emails. Their response is oh well this is the best that we can do come pick up your car. When we have asked for who is over the General Manager no one seems to know. We were lied to by the sales staff about the features of the car and having a loner car avalible when ever we took our car in for service. It took 3 visits to get the window tint correct. We have received zero customer service, communiction and service from this dealership. Our new car is ruined while in the hands our this dealership and has not been put back to how it was prior to dropping it off for service. They do not deserve 1 star.
