I was sold a used vehicle that didn't work but recieved a sticker. I only had the car 8 days according to owner. It had multiple problems they were supposed to fix but didn't. I turned the car over to them multiple times to be fixed and the last time they had it a month but it still needed over 1000 dollars worth of repairs.The owner refunded some but not all the money. It should never have gotten a Sticker due to all the problems which I have Documents from including another dealership. I have witnesses from that dealership who witnessed all the problems including how I was treated by the owner and my family missed school and work due to the negligence of the owner. The seatbelts were damaged in the vehicle which could have injured my family. The owner kept $175 for processing fees but said I didn't have the right to know what those were and I didn't own a Buisiness. I had my youngest son with me when I was there the last time and he said I brought my son for leverage while cussing. I looked up the buisiness reviews and they several complaints about this Buisiness. Doug from the dealership who's number is can verify. I also have more documentation.

I have received the notice of the complaint made by the above named consumer. We value our customers and we like to ensure that they leave with a pleasant buying experience and I'm sorry this wasn't the case for this customer.
On August 12, 2019 this customer purchased from Autonet a 2004 ***. After taking this vehicle on an approximate 8 mile test drive, which is approximately how far we drive vehicles to check them out before selling them, They were happy enough with the performance of this vehicle to make a $1000.00 downpayment on it with the agreement to come back in with another $500.00 due within 30 days. After leaving with the vehicle they noticed a few issues with it and brought it in to be repaired. We had the vehicle repaired but it seemed like the more "issues" we addressed the more they found. Enclosed you will find multiple receipts for repairs made trying to please this gentleman believing that we were doing the right thing but, it became obvious that they were experiencing buyers remorse and were looking for reasons to be refunded.
Although West Virginia law clearly states that a dealer does NOT have to refund any of the downpayment when a customer returns a vehicle in which they have signed a secure agreement to buy, we issued this customer a full refund less the $175.00 processing fee. We feel this is fair since we didn't have to issue a refund by law. Not to mention, as he said in his statement, he used the vehicle for eight days and we spent a lot of money unnecessarily trying to meet his unrealistic standards for a vehicle that is 15 years old.
This gentleman also mentioned the inspection of this vehicle in his complaint. As I mentioned before, he was satisfied with this vehicle at the time of sale enough to put $1000.00 down and sign a secured agreement to purchase it. We do not perform our own inspections here. Each vehicle is taken to one of multiple outside inspection stations. We do this to ensure that it is done fairly and because we are salesmen and not mechanics. We depend on the observation of the inspector. If there are any issues with the inspection of the vehicle they need to be addressed with the station in which it was inspected.
