I brought a car in for a pre-purchase inspection. It was a 2010 (barely 5 years old) and I was told that the car needed to have it's radiator replaced. This was fishy. After leaving the shop, I started to smell radiator fluid/gasoline as I drove the car back to its owner - I did not smell anything prior to taking the car in for an inspection. I think the car may have been tampered with. Again, I am no mechanic, but the people at the shop really rubbed me the wrong way. I feel like they thought I was a young guy and that they could take advantage of me. This was not okay.
