BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! Sold us a [redacted] Truck with a blown head problem pushing antifreeze out the reservoir when it gets hot enough. The [redacted] was bought from the auction sale!! Come to find out, the previous owner traded it in at a dealership with the head problem and the dealer took it to the sale!! We didn't know it till we got home and called Jason first of the week. I asked Jason to help with some cash to fix it. Its costing us around $6000-$8000 JASON WOULDN'T EVEN CALL US BACK!!!! No response with cash!!!!!! WHAT A WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS!!!! He did tell us to bring it back so his mechanic could look at it. We would have hire someone to take it. Now we have a Truck in the yard that we can't afford to fix!!! DONT BE THE NEXT!!!!!!

Review: Purchased a [redacted] in March of 2014. Vehicle was inspected that day prior to purchase - in fact we waited for inspection. It is now Aug 2014 and the [redacted] sits in our drive was deemed unsafe to drive due to frame damage. The frame of the [redacted] is completely rusted through in several places with a crack in the frame - in fact when meeting with the State Police today for them to ensure the inspection sticker was issued correctly the repair shop was scared to put it on the lift fearing it would break in half. The rust damage is very bad especially in the front - it is impossible that in the 5 months we have had the [redacted] that it rusted to its current state. This was confirmed with the officer and 2 repair shops. The officer advised the [redacted] should not have passed inspection in March and it should not have been sold in this condition by a dealer. The state police have filed a report and the inspection station will be cited most likely with suspension from doing future inspections. ( they have also been cited in the past). Husband contacted dealer - Auto's by choice which requested pics via e- mail & would get back with us. Sent pics and no word from them. Now we have a [redacted] that was actually purchased as my son's 18th bday gift that is not drivable, and a frame that can not be repaired. At 10k for the purchase if the [redacted] having to come up with more than a couple thousand dollars to purchase a new frame is not reasonable. The dealer boated this was a one owner very well taken care of [redacted] in super nice condition - WRONG!!!! It would be nice if they would return our call and aid in dealing with this situation that could have been avoided if they were a honest, reputable dealer.Desired Settlement: Assist in or cover the cost to replace the frame at a location of our choice - we are 3 hours from the dealer and the [redacted] is not safe to be driven any distance. Return our calls and e-mails without delay and do not make excuses or put the blame elsewhere... The frame has major rust damage and that should have been disclosed by the dealer. If it was no known by the dealer they need to invest in a mechanic that is trustworthy and capable of looking over vehicles prior to trade/ purchase or sale.

Response:

We have been in contact with the customer and are working to get the situation resolved. We have agreed to replace the frame with a used frame at a cost right about $3,000 and agreed we would split the cost down the middle. I also agreed to have the vehicle transported up here to Fredericksburg at my cost. The vehicle is being picked up Tuesday Sept. 2nd. The body shop, Forbes Auto Body, is to start on the vehicle Thursday, Sept. 4 and is expected to be completed by Monday Sept. 7. The customers have been very nice and I can definitely understand where they are coming from. This vehicle was purchased for their son who is in college and the mother wants the vehicle to be safe for him to drive. As a recent father myself, I can 100% understand as I would want a safe vehicle for my son too. I look forward to getting this resolved and hope that down the road we maintain a positive relationship both personally and from a business standpoint.

Beware!!! Falsely advertised vehicle on [redacted] and when the vehicle was delivered he would not return phone calls. Finally after SEVERAL attempts he returned call and said that he would refund some money to cover some of the cost for repairs needed and I have not received a check. Be very cautious.
