The carburator and brakes are now having problems. Both items they fixed and have been paid for.The refund request is going up to

***....I'm trying very hard not to think you and *** are as stubborn and arrogant as you are being.I like to think that people can't admit mistakes and resolve things, especially when they are providing a serviceBut you are missing my point.I will make them again.1. Please send me a soft copy of all the paid bills and work completed in email.2. I have had my car with you for Months in 2017. separate times I brought my car back to you 'under warranty'. Each timethe car had 'more problems, which require more investment' but the problem is, the original issues still excited and I was presented with MORE.- oil leak remains- damage to body of car- electrical failures- car over heatingAnd today.... After removing the front clip of the car at homeI have found more screwball issues. Screw and bolts replaced on the car that are wrong (using wood screws and a car is not acceptable). Light harness and action rod was put together with a clip and springs that we're not original. What happened to original parts? The front clip was placed on with 'spacers' and wood screws. Engine parts and screws we're replaced with miss fitted items.Youre asking me to bring my car back your shop so you can do what? Break it more? This is a total embarrassment. This is what $bought me.... Delays, lies and shotty mechanical work. At some point, you will have to own up to this BS.I have formally requested $in refunds. I am asking for it to be given so I can get the work done that is truly worth the money spent. You lied to meFace to face about the work being done on my car. Face to face. Repeatedly. I trusted you and *** to get a job done that you clearly we're not qualified to do and instead of admitting itYou asked for more and more money.Refund my money, or expect further action to be taken. Period. ** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** ***

03/06/2018 This is ***; *** had a Doctor' appointment. MrDhad issues after the car left here and at first he wanted $5,back, then $then $10,000. We would probably be out of business if we gave a refund to every customer who was dissatisfied with some of our workWe never promised that for $15,he would get a full restorationWe would fix what we saw and diagnosed and it was agreed we would do it piece by piece, focusing on what would get the car to run well and not cosmetic itemsPerhaps it's a matter he has put more into this than he wanted and wants a refund because he feels he has spent too much. We are not interested at this time giving consideration to any kind of refund; he has to first bring the car in and let us inspect thingsIf we discover there is still a problem with something that we worked on and charged for, we will honor our one year warranty on the parts and labor and there will be no charge for correcting something that was our faultIf we diagnose something not related to our work that should be done, we will give him an estimateHe needs to be aware that these parts are subject to a strict one year deadline by the manufacturers so we will need to see things soon and not miss those deadlines as we cannot replace parts for free if the manufacturer won't honor the warranty because it expired.[sent email to attention of *** and *** for *** to confirm and if *** will be contact here on out]03/08/2018 This is ***Yes, you can talk to either me or *** about this matter. We offered this guy a complete restoration but he did not want to consider that (had we looked into that option, from what I know now about this car, a complete would have been quoted for around $40,000.00)I believe this car had been sitting years; it's old and parts are becoming obsolete in America and sometimes we have to check overseasHe wanted to see if we could make it driveable so we took things a step at a timeEvery time after he drove it, something else would come upAnd we didn't hurt the paint - when he drives a car this old around, things like that will come upWe spent hours and hours doing things without chargingWe started on some of the electrical like he requested to see what would happen - not surprising a car this age that had sat so long would need more after trying one step, even though it was hoped that would be enough. He would often send to emails some days - I requested he stop emailing and just talk to meNo, I am not interested in giving him any kind of refund - I don't think that would be fairHe can bring it in and we'll see if something should be corrected at no charge under our one year warranty or if it is something else we can quote him before working on it.03/12/This is ***No, I will not pay him a $5,refundMy position is still the same: he can bring it in for us to determine if something is owed him under our warrantyThat's all I will doThank you

Mrs***'s vehicle is currently in our shop having warranty work taken care of and some drivability issues have been resolved. I spoke with Mrs*** today and told her the status of the job and that I would follow up with her later today or tomorrow. Concerning payment we do
require that all invoices be paid in full before we release the vehicle to the owner and all work performed comes with a one year parts and labor warranty to only be performed at Autos of Europe. Mrs*** is free to pick up her vehicle any time after completion with the payment arrangement with the owner

We have made a couple phone call attempts to contact Mr*** about any warranty related items on his Saab and have not received a phone call yet. We carry a year warranty on any jobs we have previously done and will would like to talk to him as soon as he can call

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:*** of Autos of Europe has proven that his workmanship is poor. I paid him $28,to repair the body, paint the car and repair all the mechanical's on the car. He had the car from 11/4/through 7/29/an told me the car was beautiful and running great.Well we picked up the car and could barely get it home. At one point we could not get the car to go any faster then MPH and the steering was terrible. The paint job was horrible, we paid $6,for something that looked like a $job. After giving him $28,We were afraid to drive the car. Before we release the disputed final payment from the charge card company I want to take the car and have it checked over by *** ***.We gave Autos of Europe $20,in advance, before they even started on the car. Plus when we picked up the car we paid them another $8,000. We trusted them with $28,000. So I think they should trust me to have the car for one day to have someone check over their work before we give back the $8,that we put a dispute claim on through the charge card company. We are not trying to cheat Autos of Europe, but for almost $30,we want this car to look good and run great!!!!We have had nothing but trouble with them since the very beginning!!!
Sincerely,
*** ***

[redacted] did bring his jeep in our shop to correct a transmission that had been installed incorrectly by his son and the vehicle would not start due to misalignment.  We removed the transmission, found damage to the starter and flywheel, and reinstalled a new flywheel and starter. ...

We installed the new parts, aligned and torqued the transmission per factory specs, got the vehicle running, and informed [redacted] of faulty wiring from previous work, multiple oil leaks, and a faulty water pump.  At this point [redacted] declined any additional repair and said he or his son could handle the work needed on there own and thanked us for repairing the damage that had occurred.  Moving to the present, [redacted] the son showed up in our shop and told showed us pictures of a clutch having damage and a bearing related to the clutch and demanded $500 or he would get an attorney.  We saw the vehicle had been driven close to 7000 miles since his visit, the part he had brought in was oil soaked, and the clutch appeared to be stressed from improper driving (eg. dumping the clutch).  We told [redacted] all warranty work would have to be done at Autos of Europe and we could not give a refund without seeing the vehicle.  A couple weeks passed and we heard nothing, [redacted] came back cursing in our front desk area, demanded $500, and refused to bring the vehicle in for any warranty work.  He left telling us he would put us out of business if we did not pay him.  We attempted to call his father at this point and his father cursed at the owner, threatened an attorney, and hung up the phone.  We are more than willing to do any warranty work that may need to be done but cannot pay money out under a threat of putting us out of business.  We have not heard back and the customer is well aware that parts and labor are covered for one year on any jobs listed on the invoice.  We have not had the opportunity to see the vehicle or evaluate anything to this point.

.4/11/2018 2:27 PM This happened 6 months ago.  I found out they had not tightened the transmission bolts and that resulted in the clutch going bad. I was lucky it had not fallen out.  There is no way I wanted them to do any additional work on the car.  I tried to get a partial refund and they wouldn't consider it.  I have since had the car fixed elsewhere and have sold it.  We wont ever have work done there again.

On 2/24/16 the client brought his vehicle in for a complaint of "Check Pulling Over Bumps".  Our technician drove the vehicle, verified the complaint, and did a mechanical inspection of the suspension.  At that time we informed the client that the suspension had no safety concerns but we...

suspected the struts to be faulty due to the vehicle having 147000 miles on it and having original parts, and the struts are the main stabilizing factor for any suspension system.  I gave the client a price, told him the only way to be 100% the struts had failed would be to remove one from the vehicle and check the condition off the vehicle, and furthermore if the strut was not faulty we would reassemble the vehicle at no charge.  Upon the removal of the right front strut we found that the dampening gas charge had been completely depleted due to the age of the vehicle.  We proceeded with the job at that point, test drove the vehicle afterwards, and found a significant improvement in handling on the vehicle and asked him to drive and let us know his opinion.  On 3/23/16 the client returned with the vehicle and stated he still felt some pulling over bumps.  We examined the suspension further free of charge and found weak rubber control arm bushings (original with 147000 miles) and offered 2 estimates, one to do the bushings and other to replace the entire arms that contain the bushings due to the age and mileage of the vehicle.  The client declined the repair and left with the vehicle.  On 3/29/16 the client called and explained to us that we did not use the original parts as stated on his vehicle, we offered him documentation that these were in fact the original parts supplier for his and he declined the documents.  The following day he call and wanted a full reimbursement of the job and we informed we performed the correct job, used the correct parts, and replaced worn and faulty parts with new parts on his vehicle and all we were willing to do was to reimburse him for the parts if he returned them undamaged.  We had no further response from that point until this complaint.  If the client would like to talk to us further we would be happy to talk with him.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/07/08) */
Contact Name and Title: [redacted]/Service Manager
Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX
Contact Email: [redacted]@autosofeurope.com
Mr. [redacted] did contact us about this issue and I offered for him to come and discuss what a fair solution to his concerns may be....

Mr. [redacted] informed me that he was not interested in discussing the matter and if we did not write him a $1400 refund check he would go to the Revdex.com and get an attorney. At that point I offered for him to talk to the owner of the business to see what could be done for him. He informed me that he was not interested in some stupid 50 dollar gift card we might offer. At this point I informed Mr. [redacted] that we do not just write checks for disclosed amounts at customers request and offered again for him to come in and discuss the matter in person. Mr. [redacted] declined and demanded the money or nothing. I informed Mr. [redacted] that any warranty work needed to be handled at Autos of Europe and asked him how much the dealer charged him for the service performed. He told me the dealer did the work as a new car warranty job and he was not charged. That was the last contact we have had with Mr. [redacted]. As far as the "Service Manager", that would be me, not picking up the phone, I usually do not. We have a full time receptionist that routes any service calls to my desk and we have not had any voicemails since my last conversation with Mr. [redacted]. We are still willing to sit down with Mr. [redacted] and discuss the matter but we will not be extorted out of money for work done on a vehicle with an agreed price on the job. Mr. [redacted] was aware that all work performed in our shop came with a one year parts and labor warranty. If he chose to take it elsewhere that was his choice.

02/16/2018 [left consumer vm and email]02/18/2018 {a Sunday; consumer sent email} I will call you Monday. Sorry for missing your call.02/21/2018 @5:00 p.m. [redacted]. What time are you available tomorrow?02/22/2018 [emailed him my schedule as had been mentioned in 2-16 email]02/23/2018 [left vm.  need him to reply to vms and emails I left, by tues 2-27, else might close]02/26/2018 [VM from consumer:  I have paid over $20,000.00 and the car is not functional and the work promised is not complete. They continue to say "bring it in for warranty work, bring it in for warranty work." I took it back 3 times for their so called warranty and all I got was more charges. I don't trust them, am very upset, and want 1/2 of my money back, which would be $10,000.00.  I could outline all this in an email and have sent pics to the Revdex.com. They had the car off and on for over 8 months and it was supposed to only take three.  The other Revdex.com complaints against them and Google reviews pretty much mirror mine. I believe they saw me as someone who had the ability to pay. I need the refund so the car can be fixed like they were supposed to.[left consumer lengthy vm and sent summarizing email ]Payments made from me to Autos of Europe:Payment 1 = $7,000 Check number [redacted] (3/9/17)Payment 2 = $6,000 (bank credit card - 7/3/17)Payment 3 = $4,015.14 (credit card - 7/28/17)Payment 4 = $3,271.55 (credit card - 9/5/17) Payment 5 = $1,750.04 (credit card - 10/17/17)Total Payments:  $22,036.73Original agreement was:  $15,000[redacted]  [redacted]

I am asking for $10k refund so that I can fix the damage and incomplete work.  I feel that is fair.I have supplied pictures to the BB File for summary of damages and issues.I believe the issue now is that the work they did damaged the car even more. The car is no longer running and decommissioned.I dont trust them to fix.02/27/2018 [left vm; need to discuss if $10,000.00 lowest accept]03/08/2018 [emailed consumer business response: no refund; bring car in for warranty determination]03/09/2018 This is unfortunate.  They have had car returned to them 3* .  All of which were unsuccessful in fix and cost me more money. They owe me a refund. The work was incomplete I will accept $5k.  But if they will not budge.  Then I will have to see them in court.03/12/2018 [emailed consumer that business will not issue a refund of any amount - only determine if warranty work is owed]03/13/2018  [redacted].  Have you read my Revdex.com complaint in full?I spent 20k in this shop.Paid in full Everytime. They did not complete the work they promised. They damaged my car.The car is not operable.  It broke down after being in their care.  The engine doesn't run.  It failed.I believed due to a faulty clutch install.Oil pan still leaks.  And damge to electrical and body of car are major issues. How many Revdex.com complaints have you received on this location?[sent reply email - business made final offer he did not accept, so closing. ]Mar 13 [email to mediator from consumer] Ok. Thanks

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The only item covered under [redacted] warranty is OIL Leak.  This has already been covered once.  With an additional 1600 worth of work.  Secondly, there is no warranty for body work.  His shop damaged my car.  This is not warranty.  I am unfortunately not at home at the moment.  But when I return I will take pictures as proof.  Third...  the electrical issue is also not warranty. His shop damaged electrical components they were unable to repair without an additional 12 hours of invested time.   [redacted] repeatedly finds new way to charge customers for work, but the work is typically incomplete always and seemingly requiring larger and more extensive investment.  I have hundreds of email correspondence between me and his lead mechanic to prove this.  I will only accept the following resolution.  This is a collector car, of which he has damaged value.  The work and finances invested have totalled more thank 20k dollars.  The three items listed will require at least 6k additional investment to resolve.  I am asking for a 6k refund or for [redacted] to pay another shop to complete the necessary work.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Mrs. [redacted] is free to pick up her vehicle at anytime after work we have already performed is paid in full.  We discovered additional problems on here vehicle and gave her an estimate to correct these problems also, which she declined.

Mr. [redacted] brought his vehicle to us on 12/4/15 for a stalling issue and we found multiple issues on the vehicle including damaged wiring that was affecting the vehicles computer network.  We did the supplied Mr. [redacted] with written estimates and he authorized the work to be completed. ...

The emissions testing problem was not an initial complaint but something he had requested after the vehicle had been sitting on our lot from December until 2/16/16 due to an unpaid balance on the work authorized.  At this point we did a vehicle scan and found a timing chain related issue which requires a tear down of the engine to verify the emissions related codes.  Mr. [redacted] declined the further diagnostics and we made multiple attempts to contact him about the still unpaid balance and the vehicle sitting on our lot for an extended period of time after work was completed.  He finally picked up the vehicle on 3/14/16 after we had applied storage fees for 5 days (our policy is $50 a day after 7 days of completion).  Mr. [redacted] had a 1 year warranty on all the work we had done if there was an issue with parts or workmanship and we have not had contact with him since the vehicle has left our facility.  I would be happy to complete the diagnosis he declined in Feb. of 2016 if the vehicle is still needing attention. Thank You, [redacted]Service ManagerAutos of Europe, Inc

See attached photos of damage.

[redacted] (via [redacted]),Cc: Revdex.com St LouisYou are by now clearly in receipt of my certified letter.  I received notice on Thursday of last week.I continue to hear nothing from you.[redacted]...  You have not lived up to your part of our agreement.  I did you over $20,000 dollars to fix and resolve very straight forward items in my car.My car continues to leak oil.  My car has experienced significant body damage.  My car electrical is not resolved.Further issues have come up.  Brakes are rubbing, which you worked on.  Car is over heating.  Tires rub on front clip which your shop installed incorrectly.I am asking for you to respond and provide a means a resolution.I have reached out in email, in letter form and in phone call.  You have neglected to respond to BB. Complaint.  I need my issues on this car resolved.  I will be forced to pursue additional avenues to resolve this issue if you do not respond.Revdex.com is working to assigned a mediator.  I am formally requesting, in soft copy, a full history of work performed, work billed and payments made to your shop.  Please provide.Sincerely,[redacted]

[redacted] and [redacted].  (+Revdex.com)I got [redacted]'s Voicemail.  I am shocked that you continue to say you will NOT send an email response. [redacted], have [redacted] write on your behalf.I have been very clear.  I have remained very professional.  I have PAID you over $20k for a restoration on my...

car.  You have failed in the follow areas:1.  The OIL leak that cost me over $5k in total has not been resolved.  It was leaking in your lot, it is leaking my garage now.  You had to have known this, but repeatedly told me it was resolved.  It is not.2.  The body damage on my car is obvious and it is absolutely above and beyond anything I expected to be presented with upon picking up my car.  I will send pictures.  This car is a fiberglass body car, that is no longer in production.  the damage is both to paint and to the body itself... large chips now missing.  The front clip is NOT on straight at all!3.  My car has had working ELECTRICAL components for the last 7 months, and then you removed the engine and placed the engine back, and magically I don't have electrical.  You want 12 more hours of work.  Billed at $165 per hour within is ???  yet another $2k.  NO.  My internal and external lights don't work now....  that is not my fault and not what I wanted to be worried about when I took the car back. This is the problem I am seeing.... you have a repeated pattern of "finding the next broken thing"... and wanting me and others to pay for it.  Look on your google reviews.  There is a pattern...
[redacted]I'm not sure about what.1. Oil was leaking in your lot when I left and more at my home.2.  The damage to My car doors and front clip is really bad.  I am shocked. No care was taken.  At least not to level I would expect.  3.  Electrical failed because of work done in shopThese are, in my opinion, fairly major problems.  The car has been in your care for 7 months.   What more is to be said.  I need resolution.   No more talk.  [redacted]
