Was overcharged for the job done on my car and the problem was still not resolved. Check Engine Light remained on!! Have known other customers to have similar issues and even more problems after the car was actually serviced. This place has SCAM written all over it!! BEWARE!!!!!

This business deserves the F rating given by the Revdex.com. We purchased a vehicle in early April for over $3000.00. Test drove the vehicle and all seemed well. The very next morning when it was started it gushed out transmission fluid. We returned it for inspection. We were told problem fixed, given and off hand reason for he incident. We did this at least 8-9 times literally. Only when I posted on his web page and threatened to involve the news media , did we get the problem fixed instantly. At this point our business has suffered from the lose so long of the van as well as the inconvenience. I would never recommend them for anything not even neatness as their web page said.

On Saturday July 6th, 2013 I called my Triple A services for road side assistance to have my 1995 Buick Regal towed to Auto Start Inc that I got from an ad out of the red t.v. guide. The tow truck came and I drove another vehicle and trailed Lou’s towing and we arrived at Auto Start Inc. at approximately 12 o’clock in the afternoon. The owner said that diagnostics for my car would be $39.99 plus tax and he assured me he would get back to me the same day. I explained to the owner that it was my fuel pump and no gas was getting to the engine. As the day went on and I was running errands, I rode past Auto Start Inc. and my car was still sitting in the same spot. The owner called me four hours later and asked me “what was my car doing before”? I knew then that I wasn’t getting my car right away so I rented a car from Hertz because I had to go to work the next day and couldn’t be without a car.

On Sunday July 7, 2013, I called about 9 a.m and throughout the afternoon and my calls went unanswered. Eventually he called me and said that my car wasn’t even turning over due to the chip in my key was loose. I told him I had an extra key and he said great so I got up, got my kids ready and proceeded to Auto Start Inc. When I got there he came out the side door I gave him my extra key and he asked for me to wait so he can check and see that the car starts with the new key. He came back out and confirmed that my car started right up and we talked and I asked him if I can get the key repaired and he told me it would be cheaper just to order another key. Then he stated that he sat for four hours trying to start my car with the key with the lose chip. So I was just happy that we were getting closer to the goal and he assured me now he can get my car to me as soon as possible.

So I left to run my errands and around 3pm or so I realized I had to get something out of my trunk so I came back to Auto Start Inc. later that afternoon and he told me it was the fuel pump. I asked for my keys and he handed them to me and he said wait so he can bring the car down while it was on the lift so I can get into the trunk. As my car was coming down I was standing to the left of it and I was viewing the under-body and the left side. I put the key into the trunk of my car it didn’t work. I looked at my key and I knew it was the wrong key because my trunk and door key to my car has a triangular shape. The owner kept insisting that it was my keys and I kept telling him it wasn’t. He went behind the desk and started going through different keys and as I walked towards the counter I noticed my keys by the shape of my door key. It was concluded that hey mixed his customer’s keys up and he was trying to start my car for four hours with another customer’s key. I just said OMG! And after I left some time passed and he called me and stated that the fuel pump is installed but there was something else going on so he wanted me to come to the shop so he could show me. I went to Auto Start Inc. and he had my car up on the lift and he pointed out that a gas line was damaged. He said he’ll repair the gas line for an extra $50.

I agreed and I asked him would he lift all those lines up so they wouldn’t be hanging down and he assured me he had everything covered. The owner called me around 6:52 p.m to come get my car. He had my car sitting so when I pulled in his lot you can’t see the passenger side. I paid and left to take my rental car back to the airport. As I drove it some I noticed that my car was driving a little funny. I went straight home from the airport and when I got of my car I always look back at my car as I’m walking towards my apartment. I then noticed my passenger’s side front fender was damaged. I went back to my car to assess the damages and I got highly upset and I couldn’t take photos because it was getting dark. I called the owner at approximately 8:15 pm and I explained to him that my car was damaged. He said to bring it in the morning so he could take a look at it. July 9, 2013 I got up to take pictures as soon as it got light outside. I went to Auto Start Inc. and I told him I didn’t want to argue I just wanted him to fix the damages.

I knew he damaged my car and even offered for him to give me half of the $360 I paid him. I showed the owner a before picture of my car that I took and he refused to compromise. I just kept asking him was he going to fix the damages and that’s all I wanted. I left and proceeded with my day and my car hesitated and the hand the speedometer randomly dropped up and down. I found myself going 40 miles per hour and the hand would drop to zero as my car acceleration speed up and drop on its own. Then my car was going really slow and approximately 12 noon the check engine light came on and I concluded I will take my car to get diagnostics again by professionals and to take the owner of Auto Start Inc. to small claims court.Desired Settlement: I tried compromising with the owner just to give me some money back and he refused. Now I want a full refund of $360 and I want the damages on the right passenger's fender fixed.
