knowing that Mr. [redacted] was ill we elected to pay the additional fees, at the DMV to bring everything current which was $699.00 we have receipts, therefore a balance was left, on the LAW 553-CA-ARB line 2-A, it clearly states estimate, which we explained to the customer, we even tried to work out payments on total, and settle for half knowing the situation of illness. The customers son [redacted] refused therefore again in a goodwill gesture we just wrote off the amount, and in the future clearly explain to all customer we do are best to estimate DMV fees with calculator but are not always 100% correct.. we are sorry Mrs. [redacted] is not completely satisfied with this outcome even though we already agreed to write it off per telephone conversation with son [redacted]....Thank YOU....Autotime Motors

Review: I helped my mother by a truck her for my father 1999 ford f150 we agreed on $5562 we paid $5000 down and made one payment for the rest When I made that payment he could not find the paper work so he asked for $575 I did not have mine on me either so I figured its close enough two weeks later he billed me $699 more for dmv fees because he made a mistake on his estimation he offered to reduce to $300 but when u sign a contract u are expecting to know the amount you are paying there should be no hidden fees and he acts like hes doing us a favor a week after we bought the truck from him my dad had a massive stroke leaving him hospitalized we cant afford any illegal hidden fees he is nice when u go in but to do this he should be ashamed here is a link to help fund trips to see him and medical expenses please help if u can [redacted]Desired Settlement: accept the error in your calculations understand the vehicle would not have been purchased if u gave an honest price and be honest as a true christian

I am rejecting this response because: at the time of sale we were not informed about any estimation the years registration was due the same month not 90 days and simply typing estimate does not allow an open window to Bill undisclosed amounts and our good will is just fine so instead of explaining to ur customers that you really don't know what amount u expect them to pay used the tools available and figure it out this complaint will stay open until ur reply shows you taking responsibility for your mistake rather than making us out as crooks and u a hero in fact I'm gonna share it on Facebook groups too because I don't like your soreness about your own mistake u know u still made 2 grand on the deal or u would not have sold it I have been to [redacted] and bashers suck it up and be accurate in the future
